The food and drinks were just okay. For the price I’ve had much better. This place was probably once very good but name and location make it more expensive than it should be.

A true classic. Great food. Great ambiance. Great history. I had the Beef of Grenadine (done medium rare) and it was fantastic. I would definitely eat here again.

After walking through the mass of chronic weed and gawking humanity on Hollywood Blvd, you enter the foyer. Take a breath, open the door, and step into old Hollywood. There's a reason this place had been around for 100 years. The wait staff is old school professional, the food- old school superb. I can't say enough good things about it!

My friend and I loved our evening at Musso & Frank. We loved the history of the place and the staff was so gracious and attentive. Everything was perfect. The martinis were perfect and dinner was delicious. Try the filet mignon - Amazing! I can’t say enough about this place and I can’t wait to go back.

Great service and food, and it felt as if one stepped back into history. It was exciting how they offered a history tour of the restaurant, and we got to see different booths where Charlie Chaplain, Marilyn Monroe, and Frank Sinatra once sat in!!

Our Birthday evening was perfect. Our table was ready when we arrived. Our host presented a lovely Birthday card to our son. Musso & Franks always delivers the perfect classic Dining experience. Plus, the Martinis are out of this world.

Terrific service and food. Every dish was perfectly prepared, and the cocktails were mixed well. The Grenadine of Beef was a favorite. Delicious, tender filet with wonderful sauces. Also, the crab cocktail was a must have. This is a dining experience not to be missed.

We enjoyed our meal in this famous spot. The history is why you come, the food was tasty, cocktails excellent. Downside is it’s too expensive to make it a regular experience and some of the side dishes are too small to be called ‘shareable’- aside from that though, it was a great meal in a Hollywood classic.

Great date night with hubby before the theater. Food was excellent we both had steak, cooked to perfection. Service was very good. Service was a slow pace to allow you to enjoy the evening they didn’t rush you for the table. If you are going to the theater allow for this.

There is only one Musso and Frank, and we are fortunate to have it here in California. It is the epitome of class and service. You are treated like you are special. The wait staff is wonderful. Our server has been here 37 years. They take there job very seriously. They look smashing in their tuxedo uniforms. The ambiance is old school and that is a compliment in comparison with what is out there. I feel very privileged to have been here in the 60's and not much has changed. Where else would you find dishes like lobster thermador these days, especially for lunch? The irish coffee is prepared tableside. Very classy. This is where one goes to impress someone.

This place is as authentic as it gets to experiencing a quintessential old Hollywood landmark steak house without all the pretense or stuffiness. They still have a dress code, but the atmosphere was very social. We had a party of seven for a 9:30 reservation on a rainy Tuesday night and this place was still hopping. The service was great from the moment we stepped inside. Our bartenders and waiters were on point and attentive and the food was as amazing as we had expected. They even shared a look at our meats before they were cooked (see photo below). They cook over charcoal grills (a rare find in the city) and the Ribeye was a generous portion with all the delicious sides a la carte. Even some of the classic cocktails come with a side kicker (extra portions set on ice). It was a perfect night out. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a historic LA steakhouse.

You have not experienced Los Angeles unless you've eaten at Musso & Frank's, Hollywood's oldest restaurant. I've been dining here for 60 years, and only the prices have changed. Great Martinis, Manhattans, Sand Dabs! Crab Cocktail, roast meats and seafood chiffonade salad are my faves.

We had dinner at Musso & Frank's before going to the theater. Although we arrived an hour early due to rain and traffic, we were promptly seated. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous. The the food, which was served quickly, was delicious and the portions were large. We will definitely go again.

When I think of Musso and Frank the word "venerable" comes to mind. This restaurant is a Hollywood icon and has hosted celebrities in entertainment, the arts, and politics for 100 years. The menu gives the diner a sense of solidity, comfort and continuity. There were 4 of us and our liver and onions, swordfish, pork chop and salmon were delicious. Sides ordered included baby brussel sprouts and potatoes au gratin and were plenty to share among 4 people. The wait staff are part of the institution that is the restaurant and again give you an assurance that this restaurant will be around for another 100 years no matter what other changes occur in the area. You will not be disappointed. Reservations highly recommended. Parking is behind the restaurant and is validated for 2.5 hours/$3.00. After that you will play a flat $20 in case you stay longer.

I visit Musso and Frank every time I'm in L.A. My only complaint is that we were given a cramped booth for two, when there were several larger booths that remained unoccupied throughout our dinner.
