   I have been to Charleston several times for leisure and have never dined at Muse. This was easily probably the best meal I have had in Charleston. Our server was incredibly attentive, caring, and entertaining. The food was incredible. I do not believe a single piece of food was left on our plates. I could not recommend this restaurant more.

   Fabulous experience on a fun girls trip. Our Jewish Comedian Maitre D was perfection. Highly recommend, atmosphere, entire staff and food.

   If you want the ambiance of a typical Southern restaurant the Muse is the place to go. The Muse is not a large, a few tables outside and several inside. The service was "the best" we had the privilege of being served by Donnie and what a great time we had with him. The food was out of this world. I had the Eggplant Spanakopita it was different and very tasty. Even though we were full we couldn't resist the Pomegranate Trifle - how delicious. Again, would give The Muse Restaurant & Wine Bar 82 Society Street Charleston, SC 10+ stars if we could.

   This is our first time in Charleston- the food was ok- we ordered bolognese, gnocchi, ravioli and carbonara dishes. All very salty. Pasta was good and al dente, service was not great and dishes were picked up too fast while others were still eating- no service for a long time- it took too long for dessert and overall we waited a long time. Place is charming but outdated and service seems a little disorganized, food can be improved and maybe more than 3 pasta dishes in the menu.

   Muse was wonderful!! The drinks, food, service, and ambiance were all perfect. We loved the mezze platter appetizer and my eggplant dish was beautiful for dinner. Tristan and Donnie were kind and so helpful! Appreciated this delicious and enjoyable meal!

   Knowing we’d be in Charleston for just the afternoon and dinner while on vacation at a location ~ 2 hours away, we wanted a memorable dinner. Found Muse via online research and the effort was validated. Loved the ambiance of the location. The not your traditional Italian fare was truly fantastic. And the staff were engaging and attentive.

   A 1860 house away from the main tourist attractions, more of a locals hangout. With good food, but very noisy.
