Our appetizer of fried calamari was literally not chewable. Server never asked if we enjoyed that or any part of our experience. We didn’t complain we just won’t return. Fluke with mashed potato’s was pretty good. Preservation inviting but tasty. The Brownie desert tasted like reheated supermarket brand brownie. Been here previously and was good. Not so this time.

Wouldn’t go back. Plenty of better places to eat in montauk that don’t have a grumpy old man showing you to your table. You could tell the server was new so not really her fault. Pricey and the food was ok. 80 degrees inside and when asked about the AC they said they couldn’t put it on because the doors were open. Not a great experience. Wouldn’t go back.

Outdoor table in front was so quiet and nice to take a break from busy downtown. Scallops and salad were perfect summer dinner. Good drink selection and fast service.

Service from when we walked in to the table was just okay. It took 20 minutes for us to get water after three people asked us what we would like. My partner didn’t have tableware, which we just took from another table since no one could found or came by to check on us after waiting. Drinks came out quickly after we ordered. Food came out quickly and portions were generous but pricey, after we placed our food order. However, after taking our order, getting drinks, and getting food no one checked on us. My partner had to get up and ask for salt and pepper. Lastly, found plastic in my pasta dish, which was obviously returned. Ordered muscles instead. They only took 50% off the muscles. Nothing more.

Dined here with my husband and unfortunately had a very poor experience. We ordered an appetizer and mentioned it twice to our waitress, but she seemed solely focused on the entrées. Unsurprisingly, the appetizer never arrived. Once our food was served, the waitress never checked in on us again throughout the meal. When we brought this to the manager’s attention, he seemed indifferent and unconcerned. With so many great options in Montauk, I would recommend looking elsewhere for quality service and a better dining experience.

We arrived for at a 5:30 reservation at5:15 planning on eating the happy hour food open table advertised from 3 to 6 pm everyday. The hostess said they did not offer happy hour that open table advertised made a mistake.We feel we were baited and switched. Everything was full price. We had plans later so we didn’t want to leave the restaurant but this was false advertising. I’ve never had this experience when we book with open table. Not ok in my book. However, our server was very nice, the food came out promptly and was good.

food was amazing. The place had a nice rustic field. The proportions were definitely generous. Only reason why I didn’t get five stars is the service was not good. Understandably server was busy but first they brought the wrong appetizer. The rest of the table were done eating their appetizers by the time I got mine then when the dinner came, I never got my side order a carrots where I just told the server to take it off the check because he never came back to see how our dinner was or if we needed a drink refillat the end of the closeout nothing was offered for the errors or absence as if it was OK. I was once a server for many years and I would’ve at least offered a cup of coffee for the neglect.

I was so excited to try this restaurant after seeing the menu online. Unfortunately, we were completely ignored after we were seated and given water. Three tables seated after us had orders taken. After 20 minutes and no luck at getting a waiter’s attention, we left.
