Mural Room - Grand Teton Lodging Company
Lunch: Daily: 11:30am -1:30pm
Dinner: Daily: 5:30pm - 9:30pm
The view from the Mural Room at sunset is nothing short of spectacular. We also had a wonderful waiter and the food was quite good. Overall a terrific experience.
Mediocre kitchen and haphazard service make this a tough restaurant to recommend. The prices are significantly higher than the experience warrants.
Tried some unique choices - bison New York strip and Elk ribeye. Prepared well but a little over seasoned for me. Had a table on the window for the sunset over the mountains-amazing view!!!
The Mural Room is historic and for that reason I could recommend it. The food was basically good, but my Elk steak was very tough and quite large. Since we were traveling I could not take the leftovers back to our room. I would recommend a smaller offering at a lesser price. Here's a tip... instead of dining in the Mrual Room, where the afternoon/evening sun came through the windows near dusk and limited our ability to see out the windows, get a table on the deck. We did that for an hour prior to dinner and LOVED it. We had drinks, hors'd oeuvres and an amazing view. All agreed we could have called it an evening after that -- no need to dine in the Mural Room and drop $150 per couple.
Food was great and the personnel made the meal even better. Views could not be beat and the price was reasonable. Even late in the season the restaurant was busy. A great place to have a great meal.
Awesome view of the Tetons in a historic hotel and restaurant. Food was probably the best in the Tetons, came here for lunch and dinner. Excellent attentive wait staff. Be sure to check out all the paintings and sketches throughout the restaurant, as well as the lobby. Definitely worth visiting Jackson Lake Lodge even if you are not staying there.
Menu good variety to select from. Our party selected 5 different entrees
Service on par with my best restaurant experiences.
An excellent experience in every aspect.
Try going outside Yellowstone Park for a better dinner. This was very mediocre.
The food, wine, and ambience were excellent. The waiter (Neil) was for the most part haughty, indifferent, inattentive, and downright rude.
The server forgot one of our guest’s soup. Server was very nice, but service was fairly slow. Food was average.
wow , what a place. you can't go wrong reserving an evening here
They were not staffed or equipped for fine dining. Food was good, but cold. They are just making money off location. Disappointed. Feel sorry for staff .
The view from a window table is breathtaking & can’t be duplicated anywhere, especially if you are there at sunset. The room feels comfortable, cozy (although it’s huge) and romantic. The service is friendly but unobtrusive. The food was the best that we had anywhere in Yellowstone or Grand Teton, although that is not saying much. But the menu was varied and included many options for locally sourced food & game.
Great view mainly...few places where you can get such a view.
The food and service was excellent and you won't find a better view anywhere.
Our waitress, Kayla, was very attentive and helpful!
Beautiful view of sunset on the Tetons is the reason to have dinner at this restaurant in Jackson Lake Lodge. Dinner was nice and the waiter was very good. We did not have to dress up, which was nice for a hiking/adventure trip.
Our meal in the Mural Dining Room was excellent. My wife ordered the trout but the waiter was confused and brought out the salmon. We like salmon as well so she accepted the dish. It was good and was a large piece of fish. I ordered the prime rib and it was excellent. Waiter was very pleasant (he was from Spain).
Great food and attentive service. Knowledgeable staff . The smoked trout chowder was amazing and he steaks cooked to our liking. The view of the Tetons was a bit obscured with haze but that’s the nature of it. Great way to cap off a day in Yellowstone and grand Teton parks!
The most incredible view of any restaurant where we dined. The service was great and food tasty and well priced. The mountain view will take your breath away. A must do if in The Grand Teton National Park.
After three days of bad food in Yellowstone Park, it was a joy to eat at Jackson Lake Lodge in the Grand Tetons and actually have good food. The tomato and fresh mozzarella salad was delicious, as was the prime rib. And we had a spectacular sunset over the mountains.
Went to dinner for our 40th Anniversary. Got a wonderful table, wonderful waitress and wonderful food.
I would avoid this restaurant. The food was just okay but the prices were for good food. The waiter told another table that the view was okay - he was a total wet blanket who could not wait to leave. The pasta special was just okay. The dessert was a joke - a stale piece of "huckleberry" pound cake and a melon ball size of cinnamon ice cream. Wish we ate at the Pioneer Room instead.
The view of the Tetons is outstanding. We both had the Idaho trout which was excellent. The service was excellent.
Excellent cuisine for a National Park restaurant sourcing local ingredients. Service was excellent but friendly. View is one of the most spectacular restaurant views anywhere. Reserve for 30 minutes before sunset for a perfect evening show. The view of the Grand Tetons is awe inspiring. Enjoyed it so much we dined there both nights of our stay. Reserve months in advance.
We had dinner on the patio to watch the sunset and then had breakfast the following morning. Good service, good “bar” food on the patio and a nice breakfast buffet.
The Mural room was great. From the seat location to the view, with an outstanding waiter, the night was outstanding. I didn't think the food served reflected the price, especially the bison steak with frites. I am glad my wife and I had the opportunity to it there though. I would highly recommend people use the online reservation well ahead of time to get the day/time they want. I saw three parties not able to get in because they didn't have reservations and the room was booked solid. Too bad, they missed out on a great experience.
Excellent food and service with an amazing view of the Tetons. Highly recommend going on the evening to see the sunset over the mountains.
Over hyped and over priced. They were way under staffed and some servers not particularly well trained. A very unbalanced wind list.
Great views great wait staff EXCELLENT food drinks were STRONG but good
Server forgot bread and did not bring sauce asked for two times. Portions not overall generous for price. Great view.
Salmon was great. Long wait for meal. Joe was a great server, very apologetic.
Service by our waiter was poor to non-existent. He failed to provide an ordered soup until after we reminded him of his oversight. And he was generally absent from our dining experience. We were made to wait a long time to receive our entrees. The waiter's poor service negated the good food quality and service provided by our waiter's assistant.
A beautiful space in an incredibly beautiful park, we were nevertheless disappointed with both the meal and the service.
Rolls were dry and not very good. Meat was flavorless and hard to cut. Bugs and dirt on window sill not very appetizing.
Food is average. Service was polite but quite slow. view spectacular but you can see that from other places in the lodge.
Great food, great service and the view of the Tetons is beautiful,
Too bright w/ sun coming in the picture window ... great food . Wonderful Service ❗️
Inexplicable delays, empty tables while you are kept waiting, servers interested in each other more than guests, food mediocre- especially for the price.
You definitely need reservations. It can be pricey but it was well worth the price. The meal was delicious and the service was exceptional. Lovely view out the windows.
