Excellent steakhouse with a romantic, world class atmosphere. Bon apetit!
overly overpriced for the quality and we felt ripped off with the drinks...ordered two tito martinis with 3 blue cheese olives on the side per drink...charged 19 for the drink and 6 for the olives, was told when i received the check that olives were a buck per olive extra...i consider an olive a garnish and you don't pay for that in nyc or any other restaurant i have been to in vegas...steaks were overcooked and service was slow...
It was really bad food. First the appetizer was under cook. We had the calamari. Then we ordered the steak and sides. The steak was good. It was the extras. Mushrooms where burnt and cold and scallop potatoes where under cooked. The potatoes where still crunchy. Not impressed at all.
The food was good but the wine was too expensive. Not the best value
Service was outstanding. Jerry made are meal extra special!
The staff was very prompt when we ordered, but was a little lacking in service once we received our food. It took a long time before we received a dessert menu and check. I'm also not a big fan of the restaurant including the tip on the check. I probably would have left a bigger tip if it wasn't already included. Anyway, the food and drinks were great. Will definitely be back next year...
We had reservations at 9. We were sat immediately. Ordered food by 915, and got our food at around 11pm. We both ordered our steaks medium. My fillet was medium well. His rib-eye was medium rare. I didn't get the sour cream for my potato, and his fries were over cooked. I've had better steaks from Outback.
Our waiter was great. He was very helpful. The other wait staff were on point, making sure our water glasses were full and plates cleared. But I won't be returning. Mediocre food is not worth the price I paid. For $100 per person, I expect my fillet mignon to melt in my mouth, not be charred and overcooked.
Very Disappointed with the experience. Restaurant is nice. I had a ribeye and my wife had a filet. Both steaks were good but not what I expected, especially for the price. Expected a much better steak. Both of us had a baked potato and both of the potatoes were extremely dry. At $12 per potato that was disappointing. Unfortunately, it was the most expensive meal I had while in Vegas for a week at the Venetian and the worst overall of the week. And that is comparing to the likes of Johnny Rockets where I had a great burger that cost 10% of what the steak cost.... Just saying....
We were looking forward to braised short ribs only to be told after being seated that it was taken off the menu due to the convention diners...that was disappointing for all six of us. We also were taken aback by a comment our waiter made to the fellow who was in charge of wine. When each of us decided to get different wines by the glass the waiter said to the wine guy in a suit "hey I tried to hard sell them but they didn't go for it"...some of our party were quite offended and wanted to leave right then but others convinced them to stay. Dinner turned out to be just ok. In hindsight we probably should have left and gone elsewhere especially for the price of the meal. We had dinner at another fine dining venue nearby in the previous evening and similarly priced but overall service was significantly better.
The restaurant is great and not my first time there. The only big issue I had was the reaction of what seems to be the manager when we asked about the possibility of serving a cheese board in the hotel room.
He almost killed the waiter when he made the question. He didn’t realize I was paying attention.
A simple no, we can’t would work. The waiter was awesome and was very nice messaging it back to the table but, I saw it.
Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We were very happy with the service and the food.
We went for brunch on Sunday. We've been here before in the past. My wife loves their mushroom souffle, but it isn't available for Sunday brunch. The cocktails...it's 5 o'clock somewhere, and it's Vegas baby!...were good. Staff was nice, and attentive.
My wife ordered then Oscar Benedict, I had the traditional Benedict. Their Hollandaise sauce is quite good, the eggs were cooked perfectly, but... They replace the traditional English muffin with a slice of brioche toast. Which is not a good thing. I remembered the bread had been an issue in the past, after I cut into it. Their brioche is always very crumbly, but ours today seemed more stale than usual. It was like eating a Benedict on a bed of dry bread crumbs. If they'll let you sub a real English muffin, I highly recommend the Benedict. If not, pass for something else.
We'll be back, but today was not a good day for Morels.
The 2nd time I’ve had dinner at Morel’s. I like the steaks because they have a lot of flavor. They also bring you samples of salts to add to your steak. Typical to many steak restaurants, the meal is not inexpensive but great place for a special occasion.
I was a solo diner and got little attn. Wait staff said my order happened to go in after 2 large parties, so it took almost 45 min to get my $65 rib eye steak. ordered medium it came out medium well, tough and flavorless. The brussels sprouts were soggy & cold. the frites were stone cold and the aioli had a tough top that looked like it had been left out for a while. no refill offered on iced tea or water and when a gust of wind knocked over a menu that knocked over my wine glass, it took 15 min before someone helped clean it up. Then wait 15 min after finishing before going inside to find anyone to handle my check. And stood there to make sure it was done. For a dinner that costs almost $200, I def expected much more.
only disappointment is that hotel seats large parties (10-14 people) in the middle of the restaurant rather than away from 2-tops or 4-tops. No way to keep a large party quiet ... but, you can isolate them. This was a special occasion for us - so go to Morels for good/great food, you will pay for it nicely but it is good food. Do not go here for a "romantic" or quiet dinner - pick another spot.
Amazing; great service, food, and drink.
Very slow service and the restaurant wasn’t that busy.
The staff at Morels were very, very nice and attentive. The wines and cocktails were excellent. The Sommelier was excellent. The food could not have been more average. Frankly I thought I might be at Chili’s or some equally bland cheap quick serve restaurant. We ordered the grain fed ribeye which was simply average. We ordered Lobster Mac and cheese which we could not eat because the Lobster was bitter and fishy tasting. They did take that off the bill. We had a side of fries for $8 which was about the size and quality of a medium fries at McDonalds. Go for drinks, go for breakfast. Don’t go here for dinner.
While vacationing or enjoying a short jaunt we save one evening for a special night out. Morel was our choice in Las Vegas unfortunately the food was under whelming. My bone in rib eye ordered Medium Rare was slightly over cooked and the filet and crab special although the filet was delicious the crab reminded us something from vacuumed sealed package. The sides were forgettable the mushrooms and brussel sprouts were regretfully mediocre lacking anything out of the ordinary. Thankfully the crème bruelle was very good as was the service which couldn't have been better. These are obviously our thoughts and I'm sure many others enjoy Morel we didn't.
Great meal and service!
Outdoor smoke free dining was lovely!!
Got the seafood
Extremely attentive servers. All dishes were excellent. We started off with the Fondue for the entire table and everyone enjoyed it. You could either dip bread pieces into the fondue cheese or vegetables. Steaks were excellent, lobster was excellent, and the pasta was fantastic.
The view is amazing if you eat outside. The food and service are outstanding. The manger was very friendly and took great pride in the service and quality of food.
High priced, i ordered a wine and there was about a half of a normal pour.
My wife loved her food, mine was mediocre at the best.
Cousin has hard time lately so my husband And I took him and his date here. They seemed to have had very good time.
Enjoyed a great night for our anniversary. Food was delicious and service was great. Would definitely come back
Steak was terrible in ever way.
Great service. The apps and fish were nicely done. However, the PRIME steak I had was one of the most tasteless entrees I've ever had. Looked great, but no flavor. Not seasoned. They give you several salts to add to your food when the entrees are presented. Shouldn't be my job to season steak. Even the wine reduction sauce they provided was not flavored well. Better steaks can be had at plenty other places.
Pretty good but over priced. It’s good but not elite, and at these prices, it should put the fine in fine dining, which it does not. If it was 15% cheaper I would give it higher marks.
The reception staff talked amongst themselves, were far more snooty than warranted. We won’t return.
Anniversary dinner. Started out fine although server was pushing higher priced items (no big deal as we always order what we want). My ribeye was ordered med-rare but arrived med to med well. Again would have been no big deal but took forever to find our server to report the issue - sommelier finally saw us trying to get someone’s attention. They kindly replaced steak with one closer to rare but was much happier with the temperature of this one. However the steak was basically flavorless. My home grilled Costco Prime steaks are much, much better. My wife’s lobster was huge and it was very good, in fact excellent ($160). We ordered cheese to finish the meal, at the beginning, as suggested by the server so it could warm up a bit as stored in refrigerator. The issue was the server never came back to give me a plate or fork to eat it with after clearing the table from the main course. When I pointed this out at end of meal the server’s response was ‘oh he didn’t bring you a plate’? Not sure who “he” was but I told him that He (the server) should have at least been checking up on us through out the meal so HE would know if we needed something. I would like to mention that the support person who was filling the water glasses, bring bread, etc. Was EXCELLENT as he was the only one checking on us and trying to provide good service. Overall very disappointed with the steak and the lack of good service for a very high priced restaurant. Not that it matters but FYI, my wife and I enjoy good food and have eaten at the world’s best restaurants as well as hole in the wall places and street food so we have broad experience on what to expect.
Food was subpar and service was even worse!
This was the worst experience. To many waiters hovering around with no clue what's going on. 10min before someone brought us a menu. 40min before we got our drink. After 50min of NO FOOD, we left. This is Vegas, no excuse!!! Walked into Delmonicos and had a great steak, life music and the best service.
The Sommelier and the waiters were exceptional. We had a great time!!
Wine: good recommendation from sommelier
Oysters: very good
Augratin type potatoes: good
Dessert: very good
Waiter: personable, knowledgeable
Other table servers: excellent, unobtrusive
Tableside Ceasar was amazing. Sautéed mushrooms dried out. Braised short ribs incredible
Very pricey but delicious! Brandon was an incredible server and he took excellent care of us. We felt like royalty!
Great selection at the bar
Food was good but not great especially considering the price point.
Had a dry aged ribeye the first night for $64 which did not come close to the flavor i expected
Mediocre. A basic steakhouse. Don't pay the $45 for the truffles on the steak because they don't smell like truffles (they are probably not Perigord truffles). All is overpriced and the atmosphere is typically Vegas. There are much better options out there. However, the wine list is pretty nice.
