Exceptional quality food! Loved every bite. Definitely recommend the COSTILLAS DE LA MATANZA and DUCK CONFIT A LA PLANCHA! Chorizo is always a favorite too. The cheesecake for dessert was Amazing!
The food was delicious. The waiter was so helpful with understanding the menu
Our waiter Ryan took great care of us and had great recommendations for us. The food and beverage was all on point.
Somehow Morcilla just keeps getting better every time I go.
Extraordinary food. Everything we had was amazing. Wish I’d live in Pittsburgh!
Overall great experience. Oxtail, artichokes, and Little Gem Salad are a must!
Well cooked, unique items, giving a wonderful change from the steak and potatoes at home.
Our server was very knowledgeable and helped us pick out food and wine. If you are looking to get introduced to Spanish wines and sherries this is the place. The atmosphere at Morcilla is beautiful and warm. We will definitely be back!
Very good and well presented dishes. The menu lacked popular tapas items like patatas bravas and croquette, which was disappointing. Also, a bit overpriced.
Everything from the service, the cocktails, the menu selection, and the incredible variety of choices were fantastic. Unbelievably creative menu and cannot wait to go back
Very nice dinner out. Context ... we're 50+ with lighter appetites ... all the plates are sharable, and make your reservations with that in mind from the get-go. Snacks and small plates will split for one serving each. We shared three snacks and two small plates, and were plenty full. The GAMBAS EN ESCABECHE was especially good. The BEEF TARTARE needed more beef. We did not order a large plate ... FWIW, we were told the chicken or steak take about 45 minutes to prepare. The snacks and small plates came out in 5 - 10 minutes. If you like sherry, try the Acha Blanca Vermouth. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. For the two of us it was $120 out the door with four drinks + tip.
We sat at the bar and had wonderful service. The drinks and food were great, and the atmosphere was perfect. It was a blissful welcome back into the dining world!
Food was incredible and brought out in a timely manner. Servers were very knowledgeable and made good recommendations.
Always a good meal when at Morcilla. Food and drinks were excellent.
There’s a reason this is one of the best restaurants in Pittsburgh. The food is outstanding. Truly some of the best I’ve had anywhere in the world. The service is also excellent. Wine list is I tweeting and always has something I must try. They never let me down. Highly recommended!
The restaurant's food is fantastic, spanning a wide array of different flavor profiles. The ribs are very good, though beware they are somewhat sweet if that's off-putting to you. The oxtail, charcuterie, asparagus, shrimp, and paella were highlights.
- Incredible diversity of flavors for many palettes
- High quality ingredients
- Fantastic ambience
- Amazing food!
- Can be pricey
- For some dishes, the flavors may not agree with personal taste (could be true anywhere though)
- Paella was slightly on the salty side
We had a lovely anniversary dinner. The service was wonderful and food was delicious. Our favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh!
very good but not the best we have had here. No oysters.
Great to have Morrill a back
Menu is very similar to before and produced well
Space is a bit more limited with office and charcuterie nspace subtracting from table space
So may be even harder to get a reservation
It was a great night! Wonderful service, delicious drinks and amazing food-
Amazing food and service
Morcilla is some of the best food I’ve had in Pittsburgh, hands down. I’ll happily go back any time.
As a food professional, I’ll say that Morcilla is easily in my top 3 Pittsburgh restaurants. We had a 9pm reservation and we were sat immediately. The tables were spaced appropriately for the present time and visible safety protocols were in place. Our server was incredibly attentive without being annoying. We ordered a bunch of small plates that they spaced out very well. Each dish was incredible! Make a reservation it’s well worth it.
Fun celebration with delicious food. Tried just about everything and was not disappointed in a single dish!!!
Amazing as always. Food over delivers every time. The atmosphere is great. Great drinks and wine list. Also did an excellent job being covid safe.
Very knowledgeable and cordial wait person.
We ordered a table full of snacks and light plates, and each one was delicious paired with a nice rose!
We can't wait to come back, and we're going to make it a regular.
Have heard rave reviews from friends but this was our first time visiting - the experience lived up to the hype. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. Can’t wait to go back!
Fabulous food, service, and experience.
Outstanding meal as always. One of the best spots in the city.
Great food and very friendly staff. Always interesting and great-tasting dishes
The drinks are fun and lovely! The food is so so delicious! My favorites were the gambas and the baby back ribs, but everyone else kept raving about the beef tartare. And of course the meats and cheeses are fantastic!! Perfect way to eat-small plates, ordered as needed.
A+ all around. Amazing food, service and ambiance
The food was incredible. Clearly this is the closest pgh has to a Michelin star restaurant. I am anti duck but that duck confit was dream worthy. Im glad my husband ordered it. There wasn't a singular dish i didnt like.
Incredible food. Beautiful restaurant. Talented and warm staff. Finally a restaurant that approaches Spanish cuisine genuinely.
Amazing food and dining experience! Can’t wait to go back!
Outstanding food and service.
Excellent service and great environment. The courses were all well prepared.
First time visiting after they reopened! Still same great food!
First time we’d been back since COVID, and it was even better than remembered. Great experience!
Always a great experience here and wonderful date night atmosphere! The friend artichokes and sobrasata were fabulous!!!
