The Morcilla team brings contemporary Spanish influenced cuisine to the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Enjoy a mix of pintxos, house made charcutería and large plates meant for sharing from our family-style menu. End your experience with churros and chocolate hazelnut fondue to round out the evening. Our beverage program features craft cocktails, an extensive wine list, a deep sherry and vermut selection and local craft beer. Our dining room is intimate, perfect for celebrating your next special occasion with your favorite person. If you prefer bar seating, the full menu is available there too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Must-Dine in Pittsburgh! My husband and I finally snagged a reservation at Morcilla after hearing rave reviews—and it absolutely lived up to the hype! We started with the oxtail and fried artichokes from the snacks menu—both were incredible. Then came the ribs: phenomenal. But the standout for me was the large plate of chicken and rice—absolutely divine. Every dish was bursting with flavor and executed with thoughtfulness and precision. We ended on a sweet note with the churros, which did not disappoint. The vibe? Low lighting (if that matters to you)—but it adds to the romantic mood. Your eyes adjust. It’s very hip, very trendy, and just cool. I had a non-alcoholic pineapple drink (last on the drink menu), and it was so good I ordered a second. The whole experience felt almost spiritual—each bite better than the last. As someone who’s binged every season of The Bear, I could tell this place runs on heart, hustle, and serious culinary skill. Our server was warm and attentive, and the whole team worked together seamlessly. Morcilla is a gem. Just wow.

Absolutely delicious! We had the fried artichokes, which were light and crispy, and not heavy, the Oxtail - it melts in your mouth, the Scallop crudo - unlike anything I've ever had, and the unforgettable Short Ribs. Wow. Absolutely DELICIOUS! The service was very attentive and was mindful of our time. Morcilla had a nice ambiance with an open kitchen. We will definitely return!

Food was tasty, creative and very good. Red sangria was also very good. The prices were high- 5 small ribs for $30 is too much. 3 women celebrating a birthday, we spent a little over $300 and we were told after 1.5 hours that there was another party coming in 10 minutes for our table. There were other empty tables. I find this rude. I will not be back.

We always enjoy evenings spent at Morcilla’s. Last night was particularly great. We enjoyed absolutely every dish we ordered and would order all of them again! We had: scallop crudo, beef tartare, little gem salad, pork ribs & trout. Needless to say, we walked out well beyond stuffed and satisfied! The cocktails were fine. The service was also fine. We will look forward to returning for sure!
