Fabulous food and service. Would come back here easily.
Best restaurant in Pittsburgh. So many others that get attention (Salt, Casbah, etc.) are okay but not as good, and price to value is not nearly as good as Morcilla. But only come if you are a meat eater. Their meats are their speciality.
Morcilla was outstanding! The service was great, helping us navigate the menu with our allergies and celebrating our anniversary with champagne. And the food was delicious with rich flavors and interesting ingredients. And you totally have to finish the night off with dessert!
We had a wonderful dinner at Morcella's. We love all Spanish food and this is the BEST we have had outside of Spain. The churros were amazing! The service is top notch! The restaurant is quiet and we felt very comfortable with socially distanced tables. We will definitely come back.
Our server was fantastic, menu was exactly what we were looking for. We will be returning
Food is excellent and they check our body temperature for safe.
The food at this place is absolutely incredible, we have been there many times and it just continuously gets better and better every single time.
Always a great experience with wonderful food and knowledgeable staff.
Perfect as always!
I was so excited to be able to come back and eat at my favorite restaurant in the city! Morcilla was incredibly clean, and there were many COVID-19 measures taken to ensure a safe experience without feeling overwhelmed. The food was just as delicious as I remembered- order the beef tartare!
Small plates but nice portions. Always yummy. Great cocktails too. Love it here.
Everything was beyond expectations! So incredibly delicious...every bite!
Probably the best restaurant open now in Pittsburgh. Particularly recommend the foie blond and the trout for two. They've done a great job in reconfiguring for COVID and things are widely spaced. You do not feel unsafe. Considering the amazing and creative cooking and great service and wine, the prices are quite reasonable.
food was clear star of the show. wait staff very professional and accomplished
slightly louder than optimal but not distracting
one of my favorite places to eat in Pittsburgh - top 3 and never a dissapointment
Favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh hands down. Best cocktails and dishes and the staff is so friendly.
We enjoyed a number of snacks and small plates. Wines suggested by our waiter were very good. Dessert was great.
While so many restaurants are too dark, lighting at our table at Mocilla was just right. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
excellent restaurant - food is delicious - service was very very very good.
Excellent meal and one of the best tapas restaurants in Pittsburgh!
First Time. Very nice. Great Service. Great Food
Got very loud as night progressed my only Negative
Food was so so sooooo good. I’m in love with the scallop. The only dish I would avoid is the $40 ham lol, not worth it.
Everything was excellent about this restaurant, except seating. A 5pm reservation with an almost empty dining room should not be placed in the corner by the kitchen where wait staff also congregate. Not quite the chef’s table . Ambiance 1.
It was alright. Food was not that exciting but I'm glad we tried the mushroom with egg yolk. Service was a little rushed. For the money, we had better food and experience elsewhere.
We really enjoyed ourselves. We got the Family Feast.
The service was exemplary. We had ribs, charcuterie, pate, tartar and lamb stew. Our party of four agreed that the pate was a bit flat but otherwise we were delighted with every bite. This is our new favorite eatery. Try a gin & tonic from their extensive selection. Acoustics are not great so be prepared.
Excellent food, the service was accommodating as well.
Excellent service, best restaurant in Pittsburgh with ingenious chef
Great! Perfect spot for an intimate birthday dinner.
Great place for a date night! The food was good and the service was pleasant. We will be back!
Everything was lovely!
Everything at Morcilla was amazing, from the drinks (Gin) to the snacks, small plates, large plates and dessert. The mussel was delicious and the trout with the fried artichoke hearts was awesome!! Our desserts, blood orange sorbet with olive oil sabayon and the creme brûlée type dessert were to die for!!
Very good food from the norm. For my standpoint, great amount of gluten free options that the server personalized a menu for me. Scallop crudo...great!
We had the family meal and it was outstanding! Great service and delicious food!
From the first plate that came out through all 3 desserts, I could not have been happier with my meal. My parents, who are foodies, were in from San Antonio. I decided Morcilla had a menu that was right up our alley-- we got the beet conserva, which was out of this world, the lamb tagine, and all three desserts. We also enjoyed a pitcher of sangria. I cannot wait to go back to try more items on their menu; but truly have not had such a satisfying, mouth-happy meal in Pittsburgh ever.
Great food. Some small plate prices seem high but the food is well worth the price. You will not be disappointed with a meal here.
We celebrated my wife's birthday here this week and had a perfect evening. The crispy pig, the oxtail, the ribs and everything else we ordered was fantastic. The cockails were at the same excellent level of the food. Last but not least the service we exceptional. Our server Ryan was friendly, knowledgeable, and always at our table the second we needed anything. Even tough we were there on a Monday the restaurant was packed, but Ryan had a way to make up feel like we were his only table. If you have not been to Morcilla make a reservation soon. If you have, then you know why you need to go back!!!!
Service was pretty poor. Not very friendly and snobbish. My date was actually visiting from Galicia Spain and very much interested in the use of the Lauburu symbol throughout the restaurant. Not only did staff try to correct her on her Spanish and origins of the symbol lol, they were not knowledgeable enough to actually discuss the menu with someone from Galicia.
Great food, wine, and service. Pricey but worth it for special occasion, couldn’t afford to come here regularly!
The food was delicious but the portions were super small and the price was really high. I won't go back.
I went to Morcilla with some friends to celebrate a birthday! Our food was fabulous! We got several various dishes to try. Our favorite was the oxtail and fried artichoke. It’s not a super romantic setting, and a bit noisy but I will 100% be back
Second time visiting Morcilla. The service was great. The ambience was nice although it’s a very loud setting. The food was just so-so for us. Food could have been a bit better balanced to offset the heavy/fatty-ness of most dishes.
