Take a stroll down Monmouth Street, London and you'll discover a little piece of England that will remain forever French. Mon Plaisir, London's oldest Family run French Restaurant, has been a purveyor of the finest French cuisine for over half a century. The entente cordial hits you as you enter, and the French atmosphere is as thick as the waiters French accents. You'll find yourself surround by wonderfully original French artefacts, you could find yourself leaning against the pewter topped bar which once graced the lounge of a Lyonnais brothel.

Bit disappointed in food Prawn cocktail boring Fish a bit overcooked but dauphinois delicious Mille feuille absolutely perfect! Service pleasant and a sweet small restaurant. My first time do will try it again

We have always loved Mon Plaisir, but we where a bit dissapointed this time. They seem to have lost the good spirit that they once had.

We went with friends on a Friday lunch time and there were a few other diners. We chose this restaurant because one of our friends absolutely loves French cuisine and this was recommended to us - she was not disappointed but neither were the rest of us. Everything was fabulous, the service was attentive but not overbearing. We would certainly return and 100% recommend.
