   The food was excellent. My husband and I went to Nobu the week before and the sushi and main course were as good as Nobu! Fully enjoyed it.

   It is a good and authentic Japanese restaurant which I use regularly. The only thing they should pay more attention to is smoking. Customers can smoke a cigarette at outdoor tables, but when the door to the outdoor is not shut the smoke can get in the indoor tables, which is disgusting for non smoking patrons.

   The restaurant has clean-lines and typifies a Japanese restaurant. The service was spot-on and the food to match. We took the set menu which was excellent in quality and price.

   I thoroughly enjoyed the night out with my family and friends. It's a hidden gem for Japanese food lovers, very authentic Japanese place that is very hard to come by nowadays as many Japanese restaurants are "fusionised" with Thai, Chinese and Korean food. Would definitely come back again.

   New manager from the start of the year and initially the food quality took a hit but now it is really good. The menu is varied and the quality surprisingly good.

   The owners retired and moved back to Japan and the hotel, where it is situated, decided to take it over. We went on their first day so, in fairness, we need to go back to find out! It used to be this awesome "mom & pop" establishment, with spectacular sushi and charming, old-school service. Additionally, their sukiyaki was to die for but that's been dropped from the new menu. Wine/sake list in dire need of a revamp - who knows where they'll end up!!

   Always a very pleasant meal here - very well prepared and authentic dishes, with a great deal of taste and depth. Wide variety on offer and everything I've tried seems very good. One of the better Japanese restaurants in London by my reckoning. The wine list is ok, a slight disappointment and London's usual extensive mark-up meaning it's hard to get good quality for decent price - however we didn't go to a Japanese restaurant for the wine. Service is extremely polite; a little too deferent for our liking but nothing really to be grumpy about. Overall not a cheap meal but a good quality one, so no disappointment.

   Had the pleasure of dining here a while back. A quaint Japanese BnB which opens up after you enter. Food is very authentic and not very busy. Price is not cheap but worth it. There's a Japanese garden at the back though we didn't have a good look at it as it's dark already. Very limited parking space so tube might be a safer bet.

    Once you realise that the B&B you're looking at, on the side of one of London's busiest main roads, is actually a luxury boutique guest house, you'll feel a lot happier about going in! Once through the front door and into the bar area, you're greeted by a modern, minimalist yet traditional Japanese decor . It's not luxurious but it is stylish and elegant. The staff are lovely - friendly, attentive and very informative. If you're an experienced Japanese food fan then ask them to bring the daily specials menu (and then translate it!). The sushi menu is a little limited in choice but beautifully prepared; the rice outstanding. Of the starters, everything was terrific but the prawn and scallop salad especially so. The sea bass main was great and the sukiyaki spectacular - make sure to ask for a raw egg! Decent selection of wines and sakes and well priced too. Overall, this is a very traditional Japanese - no thrills but truly excellent food and very well priced; expect to spend around £60 a head all in.
