As always, my husband and I had a delicious brunch at Mom&Dad’s! The pleasantries always begin with the greeting, which sets the mood for another wonderful dining experience!

In an area where all the other restaurants for a 10mile radius are closed on Mondays this place should have been slammed. That should have been my first clue when i walked in at 6:30 pm and there was only one single diner aside from our party in the entire restaurant including the bar! The food was very overpriced and underwhelming for the quality and portions, service lackluster and somewhat inattentive. The antipasto was 2pieces of salami 3 pieces of prosciutto and 4tiny cubs of cheese with 3 dried out slightly stale crostini along side a plastic container of spicy jelly-not worth even 1/2 of what is being charged! I had linguine and clams and it was mostly canned clams with 4 tiny "fresh" clams littered on the plate. Two had a poultry dish over pasta-both had one small cutlet and a handful of pasta. The biggest and most appetizing plate was the salad. We were not even offered coffee or desert, just a check brought once our partially empty plates had been sitting for about 15minutes with no mention of ether option. This used to be an excellent place to eat and meet friends but sadly it is not that any longer. This will be the last time I will be eating here and for sure will not be recommending it to anyone!

Everything was great except the taste of the food. Exceptionally bland. No taste at all. I expect Italian food to have flavor and believe me salt couldn't even flavor the meal.

Garrison, our server, was outstanding. Four of us had drinks, dinner and dessert. Grouper Piccata, Chicken Piccata, Shrimp Pasta, and Linguini & Clams. Delicious sliced bread accompanied our meal. For dessert we had Crème Brulee and Lemon Cream Cake. Meals were served quickly and hot.

We ate there on Mother’s Day, a Sunday, at noon. It was a buffet! At $34 per person! And they gave themselves a built-in 20% tip! Food was good but nowhere near what their regular non-buffet quality. Very disappointed. Will probably never return.

Service was very slow and when the food came out you could tell it had been sitting for awhile. They didn’t even ask if we wanted dessert and we were celebrating my daughter’s graduation. We went elsewhere to finish the celebrations.

First I want to express I tried talking to the manager while we were there and I followed up with an email and still no response. This was the email My family and I had reservation for 6 people at 12:15 on May 3rd. At 2:00 I went to the front to ask for the manager because we still hadn't received our food. We even asked for bread because we were very hungry and we were told there was no bread because it was brunch. The manager never came out, the food came around 2:10 no one ever apologized or told us what was happening except for there was a big party before us. This was supposed to be a very special celebration for my daughter's graduation and we were very disappointed. Was there a manager on staff today? Why wouldn't he/she come out? Deanna Verboort
