The Mola Spanish Bistro is a restaurant that serves traditional Spanish cuisine including live music. main course came out very fast, we were still working on appetizers. my dish, Mussels, was fair at best, a small amount of mussels, nothing additional, no rice, not a little pasta, not even bread. for $26.00 I expected something more. even the presentation was poor.

We had tapas and sangria. Sangria was refreshing and not too sweet. We ordered jamon and manchego croquettes, bread and tomatoes with chorizo, fried calamari, and salmon tartare. All were delicious. We also had dessert. Manchego flan was the best! Bread pudding and chocolate creme brulee were also good. The patio location is beautiful. It is fun to watch the people going by.

Got a great online deal, which helps alleviate some missteps like salmon carpaccio not being very fresh (did not smell right). Stay with cooked dishes.

This could be a 5 star place - the food was fantastic - Lamb shank the best I've had in years and we go out a lot. A few things need to be fixed 1) Not enough wait staff - our poor guy was running around - took him over 10 minutes to get to us when we sat down 2) more heaters - There's barely any indoor seating and it was cold.

We booked Mola for a birthday celebration for a group of ladies on a Saturday evening. None of us had ever been before, and we all live in NC Coastal. Loved the atmosphere, we sat outside under the lights with heaters on sheepskin cover chairs with a charming duet playing Spanish music. The server was very knowledgeable with recommendations and a fabulous wine for the table, several tapas including the Octopus and a quite large flatbread! It was perfect!
