   Went here for Happening Gourmand. Had the garlic snails, which were amazing! So much cheese and flavour. Had the striploin, which was a bit disappointing. The portion was huge and lots of flavour and well-cooked but the cut was so rough that my knife couldn’t cut through it. The veggies had no flavour and felt forced onto the dish. The opera cake dessert was OK but wish there was another dessert option with the price fixed menu. Service and atmosphere were exceptional! Would definitely want to come back for the vibe and maybe try other foods, despite the subpar main dish.

   On my daughter’s birthday , the restaurant’s band performed a special birthday song for her. The thoughtful ceremony made the day truly memorable and brought her so much joy !

   The food was amazing (so hard to choose from their awesome menu!), the staff were so attentive and helpful, and the live music made for a perfect anniversary! They even made note of it being a celebration and surprised us with a dessert! Thanks so much!

   Always love the live music “ Chambers” so fun & very nice ambiance but food wasn’t great steak frite very tough & mushroom risotto was like oatmeal consistency

   We were excited to try this spot. While our server was great! - The food came to the table immediately after ordering. We’re talking about once the order was taken our onion soup and poutine came to the table in less than 2-3 minutes. Onion soup even premade for service needs longer in the oven or broiler than that if it’s “legit” and done “right”. Also, the poutine came out similarly at room temp… Hopefully better the next time around.

   Première fois au Modavie et certainement pas ma dernière. Si vous aimez la musique, le live band rajoute de l’épice à la soirée avec du bon jazz and blues. Soirée tranquille, excellente nourriture et service chaleureux de la part de Radouan qui fut excellent tout au long de la soirée. Je recommande fortement le Modavie à qui que ce soit.

    Meal: onion soup, catch of the day, crème brûlée. Vodka up with olives / wine The onion soup was glorious. The flavor was . The seabreame and veggies was so yummy. The fish was thick and meaty. The flavors were light and the veggies were cooked just enough with a perfect crunch. Paired with the beaujolais villages The crème brûlée: perfection. The bartender(s) were amazing and knowledgeable, very kind and attended to us. The live music was perfect background noise to drown out the loud tourists. Although it’s a touristy destination, the food was masterful and did not disappoint. Probably our favorite meal of the trip.
