The two of us went for Thanksgiving evening, and the restaurant had very few people in it, which enhanced the ambience and made the service seem more personalized, and the place was delightfully quiet.

We have been going to Mockingbird for years and have enjoyed it in the past..so it was our first choice this past Saturday night..we were seated and waited 40 minutes to get service…we actually had to ask the (maybe new server) if he was the person we order our meal with as it took forever to even get our drinks..and the place was not busy! I even had to ask for bread for the table! This is unacceptable! We sat near the fireplace which did not help one bit as it was so cold in the restaurant that I had to wear my coat and at one point in those 40 minutes we were going to get up and leave. My husband was going to put another couple of logs on the fire cause the fire was going out as well and had to ask if that was ok and they jumped to it…the food was excellent but the service was a big disappointment and probably won’t be back for a while..

The Asian noodle dish was superb. Our guests were impressed with the menu. A note from our guests from Vermont -"Best dinner ever!"

Mockingbird is my new favorite restaurant. Don’t expect to dine quickly, this is a place to sit and enjoy the fireplace, a glass of wine or cocktail, rest between courses, hold hands with your sweetheart or have a relaxing conversation with friends. Step away from the bustle and grind and savor the flavors of fine, freshly made food.

Service was a bit slow but the food was terrific. Only the fries were subpar, not crisp and a bit soggy.

Great ambiance and card from staff celebrating our 44th wedding anniversary. The strip steak was cooked to perfection. Sitting next to the fireplace was an added comfort.

Food was wonderful as usual. The dumplings are always terrific and both the salmon and cod were prepared perfectly by Sam. Highly recommend.

I have made several attempts to dine at Mockinhbird and I’m glad I finally made it. It is a diamond in the rough. My and my wife dinners were prepared wonderfully. It is a nice comfortable environment for dinner and we will visit there again soon.
