We came in on Friday night and also Sunday for Brunch. It was beyond amazing how bad things were. Friday night the bar tenders were on the phone, ignored us and when we placed a drinks order the bar tender replied with ‘Slow down 1 drink at a time’ we were also told on Friday you had run out of Fruit, Ice & Glasses. The staff seemed happy to share with us what a mess the place was. We came back on Sunday for Brunch and some how it was even worst. The menus are super tiny, printed on copier paper yet many items were missing. I mean how on earth can you run out of chicken? surely the manager does a menu run over before service and missing items could be solved. The bar tender on Sunday wins the award for the rudest guy in town and was less than happy to serve our group and others also (we knew others also begging for drinks) The food far from good, the service terrible and the guys in charge appear to have little interested in being half friendly & welcoming people wanting to put money in their pockets.

Modern restaurant with nice oversee-able menu. Great garden, kids can play while adults eat. Good food, nice ambiance.

I've never received worse service in my life. The woman who was seating us took us to the table after 15 mins of the reservation. Then stopped and took us back to the entrance because she realized it was not ready. The staff was rude and condescending. When we sat down an hour late, I watched as the waiters mindless threw food on people tables. The last kick of the night was when my boyfriend had a bucket of ice water poured on him from the champaign bucket the waiter knocked over. He didn't flitch or apologize.

Food is nothing to write home about; prices are high; seating is excruciatingly uncomfortable. No bread or anything else is offered for the table. Dessert portions are large. Peach crumble is good; tiramisu is below average. Best main course out of 4 was half chicken. 10 oz steak no where near 10 oz.

Aside fm items forgotten that we ordered -drinks and our main course entree It was overall very nice and better than most Hamprons restaurants. The next day we did laugh a lot about when we were asked what we'd like for dessert before our main course had been delivered!

I took my partner there for a birthday dinner and had fun with all of the kids around us. Unfortunately, it was not the point of birthday dinner. Also, the service was bogged down due to volume and it was 120.00 per person for dinner. I would not recommend this spot for a romantic spot.

Our 4 year old grandson loves this restaurant. He loves pizza and theirs is the best in the hamptons. There is a large outdoor area which allows children to run around and have fun. We can keep an eye on him from our table and we like that there are lots of children and families.

Our experience at Moby's was great from beginning to end. We requested a table outside so the kids could be in the action and that was wonderful. The food was all very good. The local shisito peppers were tasty but disappointing compared to others and the $8 corn on the cob was utterly overpriced no mattet how good it was. Overall a fantastic night out with the kids. We look forward to returning

Loved the food at Moby's but the service was really sub-par. We had several different waiters but none of them were very attentive or efficient. Also felt like we were sitting on top of other diners when seated at the two-top tables.

Moby's is one of my favorite places. I have been going there since they opened in Montauk 3 years ago and then when they moved to East Hampton. The place has changed - it used to be a big shack and now it has become more of a scene. It also is much bigger than before so naturally has more of a "real restaurant" feel. Great ambiance. kid friendly. Everything on the menu is good. Reasonably good service. But on the noisy side and gets very crowded.

The decor is surprisingly laid back with a modern nautical flare. The unsupervised kids running through the dining room was a bit much, yet after two aperol spritzers, you feel like running too! There were no cool dishes on the menu for the warm summer day we were there, yet the grilled octopus was divine! The pesto pasta was a tad rich, yet having pizza was not what we had in mind with the high temps. There is no kid menu, so ask ...because this is one of the new places where the millienums with families hang , especially on the back patio, thus why we opted for the inside dining room. My one complaint was the loud party that took place in the party space with no doors. There were no room dividers to keep the loud group confined into their space and the management made no effort to keep them quiet...having them yell and talk over us made us rush out and seek dessert elsewhere...

We had great expectations and were very excited to try Mobys after reading a good review. We live in East Hampton year round and eat out every day so we know all the good restaurants. Unfortunately we were unpleasantly surprised. Our waitress was very sweet--but poorly trained and inexperienced. You can't charge Hamptons fine dining prices and not offer a fine dining experience. They will never make it past this season is our prediction (which isn't uncommon for that location since the Laundry left it unfortunately). Our guests had to send back their burrata appetizer as it tasted as if it had been simply tossed from the fridge to the plate. The waitress offered to give my friend and me a taste of the Chardonnay by the glass--but rather than bringing the bottle and 2 glasses and pouring us each a taste--she brought one glass with some wine in it--we shared the taste. The wine list is very small, uninteresting and expensive. Our drinks were finally brought to us differently from what we had ordered and unceremoniously put on the table in one spot for us to figure out who got what. Same with the food. For some reason all of our appetizers were put in front of my husband. We sorted it out! When one of us ordered a bay breeze drink our waitress asked what kind of gin they would like in it (it's a vodka drink). The atmosphere was "awkward," and sparse on a Wednesday nite, yet the noise level was high. These are all first world problems, yes--but you can't make it in he Hamptons dining scene with those issues. We wish them the best of luck however and hope they prove me wrong!

A lovely place to dine outdoors or indoors, with lots of kids keeping busy on an assortment of climbing and playing equipment while their parents enjoy a terrific meal. Missing though, is bread and rolls while waiting for the meal to appear. The wine list is fine...but more expensive than it should be. $16 or $17 a glass for a bottle that cost the restaurant under $10 is very steep. Food prices are fair for the East End.

It was loud not much on the menu. A so called fancy resturant with picnic tables. It was expensive and I will not go back. Definitely not recommend it to friends. Service was too fast. We were celebrating a b day. We were finished in less than an hour.
