Outstanding venue, service, and Japanese cuisine. Wait Help are very gracious and pleasant. Wonderful ambience especially for out-of-town clients. Parking is very convenient.

We reserved the "Cabana" which are private, individual spaces separated by canvas/thatched screens. It is a gorgeous, romantic view while dining overlooking the ocean at sunset. It is really incomparable. It was a bit of a rainy, windy day/evening, but the cabanas were sheltered and cozy.
The service was fast and efficient, but lacked warmth or sincerity.

Best kaiseki in Honolulu with friendly service and best view of Waikiki and Friday fireworks.

The food was delicious. The kaiseki menu was to include Uku (Hawaiian) fish name, however they were out and replaced it with salmon. We had been looking foward to Uku since it had been in the restaurants on line menu (all be it a small portion of the menu) so were a bit dissapointed.
The flavors created were delicious.
The room was neat in appearance, however the more time you spend the more things you notice.
The biggest surprise was the amount of guests. We entered at 6:50pm and left at 9:00pm. Throughout the entire evening there was but one other couple being served. Wow!! Super special service by waitress. We wanted for nothing the entire evening.

Never fails to impress. The monthly Kaiseki (pre-fixe chef's tasting) is a bargain at $58, especially good with the sake pairing at $20. Great view of Waikiki and sunsets.

Outstanding food and service, but was disappointed in not being able to see the fireworks because people were lined up outside on the lana to see the fireworksi, blocking our view.

The essential sushi is not tasty.
It was expected too much because it was a dining in a hotel of Japanese descent.

It was my first travel to Hawaii for celebrating 20th wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday.
The food was really great with taste, decorating...
And manager served with detailed introduction of each menu.
I hope to visit Miyako again and would recommend to people who visit Honolulu.

Great food and service. Only problem was they raised the blinds before sunset so there was glaring afternoon sun in our eyes. Beautiful ocean view.

We took our mother for dinner on Mother's Day. We all had holiday menu A and agedashi tofu, Miso butterfish, sashimi, sushi, tempura, everything was so tasty. The ocean view was great too. If you don't want to fail to eat Japanese authentic food, this is the place for you!

Website did not indicate that they were still celebrating new years several days after the fact. Menu was limited to kaiseki, multi course, expensive dinners. They did not honor coupon we received from our hotel - also not indicated on their website.

This is an amazing restaurant that's been around for years but no one knows about. I recommend the Shabu Shabu Hot Pot with the Wagyu. Absolutely amazing. The serving is for two. The scenery is also tremendous. If you can, ask for a seat in one of their three cabanas on the balcony. The view of Waikiki and the ocean is unmatched. (Unfortunately you cannot order the hot pot in the cabana). Not the cheapest meal in town but worth every penny. I look forward to my next meal there.

The person that greeted us was unfriendly and not happy to see customers not quite rude. The rest of the waitstaff were really nice. The food was mediocre. However the view stunning. The room needs a major update/upgrade to match the rates they charge . There are much better Japanese restaurants on Oahu
