The atmosphere was amazing. Very beautiful and you’ll never have an experience quite like it. The food was just “ok” I ordered a Cesar salad and it looked like it came out of a bag mix. The salmon I got with it was like the salmon I get in bulk frozen from Sam’s Club. It tasted fine but I made a better salad that night myself. My friend’s sandwich appeared to be much better. I did really like the truffle fries though!!

Beautiful place, service exceptional but the garlic shrimp pasta was not at all what was expected. The shrimp was over cooked and the pasta was too soft. No garlic flavor. Had to ask for some cheese to give some kind of flavor. The other two dishes at the table were good

When you make the resy, be sure to ask for a table near the food. The steakhouse seating was very dark and far away from the food stations. I would have preferred to sit in a brighter room and closer to the food. Also, the host staff did not see my note about my son’s birthday, so make sure they pay attention to reservation notes. The food was delicious. The baked salmon and prime rib were top notch. The Belgium waffle was over done so I recommend asking for fresh waffles if you can.

Food was cold, and waiter said it was probably because it was probably just before they restocked the food. The waiter dropped a plate of food clearing a table and it took a good 15 min to come back and semi clean it up. There were still salad leaves under a chair and I suppose salad dressing in the carpet that he never came back to glean up. We split the check which with a minimal tip ($15 total) and it still worked out to $86 and change for each of us. My friend talked to the Mgr on the way out and it was excuse after excuse. He said waiter should have brought warm food (waffles were very dry and very cold). She was offered a discount when she returned. It’s not likely either of us will be returning. The search is now on for THE best Sunday Brunch in Riverside County. Very disappointed in the Mission Inn.

This was our second time celebrating my husband and daughter’s birthday at the Mission Inn Sunday brunch. I think they offered less selections this time around and limited the mimosas per person, which is probably best. Overall, it was a nice brunch

The food was very good. I went twice during my stay at the Mission Inn. Once for Sunday brunch and the other for lunch the next day. Sunday brunch was great. They had a variety of breakfast and lunch foods and fresh and cooked seafood like crab legs, mussels, shrimp and fish. I would totally come for brunch again! Lunch the next day consisted of an spinach artichoke dip, meatballs, and Asian chicken salad for me and my husband had their French dip with sweet potato fries. The food was great and the server super attentive. I won't lie and say it isn't a bit pricey, but totally worth it--especially the brunch!

The Mission Inn is beautiful. We had never been there for brunch. It was beautiful, and the food was endless. Service was great, everyone was friendly and observant. Just be sure to check on the price beforehand because I was not prepared for the $$$$ Bill.

Our waiter did not check on us. Waits until one of our table member is served with their order to tell us that they don’t offer an item that was on the menu. Suggests another order and still gave us the wrong order. Once we were done with our meal, the waiter brings us a refill for our drink. I don’t know if we just had a sub par waiter or if they don’t care about customer service.

Enjoyed enjoyed the entire experience. Seated on the Spanish Patio, we lunched alfresco near the fountain surrounded by greenery, butterflies & birds. It was a special occasion and that was a romantic & beautiful setting. Our menu consisted of: Caesar Salad, Cajun Beef Filet, the Innkeeper's Spicy Sausage Pasta & Garlic Shrimp Linguini. For dessert we had Vanilla Crem Brule & Double Chocolate Cake. Each dish was flavorful & well presented. Our experience was greatly enhanceded by our waiter: Arturo. He was welcoming & personable, but didn't hover=just right. Each staff member we interacted with at the Mission Inn was kind & helpful. We felt well taken care of during our brief visit for lunch. It was very expensive & the kind of place we normally couldn't afford, but we were gifted. The service, the food, the ambiance were exceptional. Highly recommended! (Ask for Arturo!)

The service and ambience are top-notch, but the kitchen doesn't match the quality of the hotel -- and it's been this case for years. This has been our experience with every restaurant at the Mission Inn. In our most recent experience, the food took a while to come out and both of our $50+ steaks were overcooked. As much as I love the hotel, when it comes to dining for a special occasion, there are a number of better options in the city, but if a unique venue and ambience is the top priority, then I'd recommend Mission Inn at least once.

I have loved The mission Inn restaurant for many years! Tonight was a special birthday. My husband and I enjoyed a quiet, elegant & delightfully delicious night! Every single person serving us, from the hostesses to the manager saying hello while greeting us at the door, our main server, the food runner and the guys so gracefully picking up after us. They all make an amazing team. They all are the reason we come back. We don’t get to see the chefs but a kiss to them for making the most delicious dishes and drinks!!! I recommend this restaurant 10/10

We went to Sunday brunch and was disappointed to find there were no breakfast items available. The hot food was barely warm. Salad offerings were minimal. Some of the desserts were high on trays. There were no labels on the desserts. There were no rolls/breads available.

Our waiter was awful. He did not explain where the different buffets were located. He did not come back to our table with more coffee, water or mimosas. He did not clear our used plates in a timely manner and when he did he reached over us rather than walking around to the side of the table where the plates were stacked and no one was seated. He was advised we were celebrating a birthday and never acknowledged it although, numerous other tables were acknowledged. The selection of breakfast and much was poor. There was a variety of desserts however, they were tasteless or very bland.

The atmosphere was cozy and elegant. The staff was very helpful. The food was great and presented well. I've been there before a long time ago and it was great then. I have since moved away but was back for a visit and decided to go again. I was not disappointed.

Hostess was super rude, but waitress was nice. I would not order the grilled chicken again. The season vegetables were severely undercooked, and the chicken was very dry. The sausage pasta was good. I did not appreciate being seated in a cramped corner when the whole restaurant was empty besides two other tables. Beautiful restaurant and hotel, but maybe would try their other restaurants next time.

Our server saved our night and directed us to a better table for 2 not right next to a large family dining where the hostess led us. Thank you!!! Everything else was what I’ve come to expect here. The food has always been great. I gave the last category 4 stars because I would rather have been outside.

I’ve visited the Mission Inn Restaurant for brunch numerous times over the last few years and it still holds up well. There is a great food selection, the ambiance is beautiful (love the redecorated restaurant bar area) and this will always be my favorite Christmas morning brunch- the absolute best I’ve seen on a holiday. Think Harry Potter-esk Hogwarts decadent selection of food and you’re there;) Be sure to get seated in the courtyard if the weather is suitable.

Worth drive to Riverside for lunch outing. Distinctive place. Spanish Patio unique. Service A+ with server & 2 others responsive and professional. Food was disappointing for this style restaurant. OK; below expectation in quality, taste. Three of us had sandwiches all agreeing not order those again. The Ruben corn beef rather dry/tough stringy, sauerkraut forgotten, a smear only of the dressing. had to request both items brought to table rather than the plates being returned correcting. Side salad was a small bit of tender greens with 2 cherry tomatoes cut in half. Ordered bread pudding. Save yourself. A very moist somewhat tasteless muffin which wasn't saved by the sauce. Tables (at least in our seating area) extremely close to each other such that table conversations could heard from neighboring tables. Moderating the meal itself to "It's just a meal" we all agreed everything about the hotel and our lunch outing was worth the drive from "the desert."

Went for my mom’s 83rd birthday and she has a walker so they sat us at a very nice big table with plenty of space for the 5 of us.

Armando our server was fantastic. Attentive, personable and sincere. Food was good but ask about that sauce on the ribeye. I think I would have enjoyed it more without the sauce.

The building itself is beautiful. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. Timed perfectly. We never had to ask for a refill. Next time I’m in Riverside I will definitely be stopping in again. Our guest of honor was very happy with her experience, as well.
