Mirabelle Restaurant and Tavern at the Three Village Inn
Mirabelle Restaurant and Tavern at the Three Village Inn is the epitome of coziness, with its casual atmosphere and combination of American comfort food and French bistro classics. Chef Guy Reuge brings to the table the freshest and best local ingredients with emphasis on value. Long Island wines as well as other American vineyards are featured on a well chosen wine list. Fireplaces enhance the warmth of the Tavern and outside dining on our patio is available in warmer weather.
Our server Max was outstanding and enhanced our groups dining experience with his suggestions and attention to detail .
Great food. Good ambiance. Terrific restaurant!
Always nice lunch menu could be expanded
As always, the food was wonderful. However service was woefully slow. Holiday decorations were nice.
Wonderful for the Holidays
And our anniversary
Last time I visited Mirabelle was well over a decade ago, when it was in a little house in St. James. I was prepared for the food quality to have declined as a result of the move, but I have to say that everything was delicious and attractively presented. I had the mixed salad, the duck breast (with beets and lentils), and the fruit tart. I got a bottle of the 2014 Starmont - Carneros Pinot Noir that was only marked up by a factor of two. The duck breast was sublime. I had read reviews complaining about the service, but I found the service to be pretty good, though uniformly young.
Our food was excellent and our server Steve was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable!
When we first got there the bar area was very loud. Thank goodness over time it quieted down. Menu had a lot of meat choices & not a big variety. I’m a vegetarian & there was only 1 option. My husband said the coffee cup was small & not even filled.
I love the Tavern @ Mirabelle, but no time is better than a cold winter's afternoon. My brother and I took my father for his birthday. I was a warm, cozy and delicious respite from a cold and wintry day!
The food was delicious and an incredible value! Service started off a bit shaky-I received a beer when I ordered champagne and it took longer than we would have liked. Once they settled down, it was quite nice.
I had made reservations for my wife and I to be seated in the rear dining room. We had a nice table by the fireplace. We chose to have items on the farm to table menu and ordered wine to go with our meal. The food was great but the service was lacking. First , I was sitting next to my wife. Each time food was delivered to the table, the dish was first served to me and then the waiter would reach over my plate to serve my wife. As there was a clear path around the table, the food should have been served to my wife first and then to me without the waiter reaching over . Second, It was approx. 25 minutes between our first course and our main course and during that time no-one came by to ask if we would like another glass of wine or to fill our water glasses. We found this interesting mostly because the restaurant had people at only four of the tables in the room. Finally the manager came into the room and seeing that we had not received our main course, apologized and had our meals brought right out. After ordering and receiving our dessert, the waiter walked by our table and just placed the check on the table without saying anything or asking us if we wanted anything else for the evening. Overall we found the food to be very good but the staff very poorly trained in customer service. I must say that the manager was very professional but due to a sister restaurant at the location being very busy was not able to supervise the staff in our area. It may be that we were just there on a bad night. Finally, due to the fact that the food was so good we will try to give it a second chance.
The service was absolutely horrible, I’ve worked at the inn in the past for over 15 years as a manager and as a waiter, I expected better. Slow, non observant.
We chose a Friday evening for our "date" and were lucky enough to have our request for the quiet dining room filled. Cathy, our server was excellent. I was happy to not have the other waitress who played with her hair right before taking orders.
Our food was excellent. I liked to ability to enjoy vegan choices. My husband enjoyed his gnocchi very much.
Thank you TVI. Thank you Cathy!
We had a 7PM reservation for 2. Arrived 10 minutes early and checked in. We were asked if we wanted to sit at the bar or wait for our table to be ready. We wanted to wait since we are not really bar people. So we did for 10 minutes even though the table was ready. We were then seated in the Tavern area even though the reservation was for the Restaurant. I guess that was my confusion and didn't question it. We ordered our meal and a bottle of wine. The wine didn't come out until after we started our main course, or should I say my main course. My wife received her main course before her soup. Of course they apologized and the same for the wine mishap. They offered to comp the wine but I refused. The food however was excellent and the staff friendly. Just disappointed overall.
Very disappointed w very little selection of gluten free items - was told by waitress I could only have a salad to be safe- I don’t want to dine out & have to eat a salad-a restaurant of your caliber should have a dedicated fryer to offer fries with burgers & also GF buns at the very least
Usually have better food, but we were disappointed by our meals. Service was not as attentive as they could have been. Did not warn us of the romaine shortages affect on the Cesar salad.
Great dining experience
We visit 3VI every year to celebrate our anniversary because we got married here. It was important to me to get married somewhere we could revisit every year, and it never disappoints! We were seated immediately and told the details of the brunch; our mimosas (included!) were served quickly; the brunch room was beautifully lit and the food was tastefully presented; the spent plates were cleared from the table swiftly; and every morsel of food was delicious!! Thank you, again and again, for allowing us to relive our special day. We look forward to it every year.
Busy night, slow service
Went for restaurant week. Overall it was a nice time but the seating arrangements are really tight. And the food is good but was expecting something much better. And the service with the exception of the waitress was not very good.
This was my best time at Mirabelles in over 5 years
Mirabelle is one of the best places to eat on Long Island for so many reasons. Of course, the food is always the star of the evening but when combined with great service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere you will be sure to return. A bit pricey but worth every penny.
Food has been consistently good, service was not this night.
Checking in with reservations was poor. Confusion on seating. Never came Back after stating they would check on seating. Waited 20 minutes
We had a party of 5 for a business meeting. We ordered a bottle of red wine. The servers said they didn't have anymore red wine glasses, so we needed to drink the red wine from water gobbler glasses. The bus person was stacking the finished plates, no tray to clear food. We ordered Restaurant Week Menu. The short ribs were cold and i'm not sure if the server forgot to fire our food, because the entree took 45 minutes to receive dinner. The steak was tough and dry. No compound butter or a sauce. It was strange. Overall I will go back because they have a Great Chef. It might have been a off night because of Restaurant Week.
Food was wonderful and we love the charming dining room.
Great date destination.
Service was inconsistent. Only soft spot in an other wise lovely evening.
Will go back for sure
The food is always cutting edge, with a rustic and seasonal feel. The dining room is elegant, but not overly fancy. Love Chef Guy and will definitely be back.
My wife and I had our first date at Mirabelle restaurant and have spent our anniversary there every year since. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left it was a perfect dining experience. The food and service were great as always and we even recieved a gift bag from the manager at the conclusion of our meal. Top notch establishment with a menu that always seems to put a nice fresh twist on classic dishes. Highly recommend.
Best and freshest ingredients ..expertly prepared..always a winner.

We have been there many times, with friends or just my wife and I. The food is always good. Chief Guy does a excellent job. I have problems with the wine list, not enough choices.
Hi Lou, thank you so much for your kind words! Although, we are sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with our wine list. We are actually in the process of revitalizing our wine list so we hope to provide our guests with many more selections by this holiday season. Hope to have you back soon!
Really enjoyed myself! Food, service, drinks, and then music began.
Food under cooked needed to send it back to kitchen ( pork)
Very loud because wedding guests were waiting to be seated .
Service was excellent
Ambiance is fun
Good food; Oktoberfest menu. Enjoyed beer, but prefer my pumpkin ales without rimmed glass. Quiet night, service was a little inconsistent
I had the kobe beef sliders, they were dry and overcooked. My companion had the goulash again it was dry. The onion soup was okay but the amount of cheese was somewhat skimpy
Great food, nice ambiance, good drink selection
We had a Sunday brunch with a couple of Italian friends and we enjoyed the experience. The food is very tasty, well presented and well prepared. The cost is reasonable. The service inexistent because is a buffet like. The only complaint I have is that the room where the food stands is collocated was very far from the actual table and this is a bit of a hassle. They could also be a bit nicer. All in all, though, it is a good brunch.
Hi Tiziana, while we sincerely appreciate your kind words, I apologize for the long distance walk to our buffet. For future visits, please alert us by leaving a note on your OpenTable reservation or by simply giving us a call at 631-751-0555. We will be more than happy to accommodate a table closer to the buffet for you and your guests!
My friends and I meet once a year, usually in Manhattan. This year they decided to come out and meet my in my neck of the woods. They loved the Inn and the restaurant. We had such a nice afternoon. Thank you.
Hi Kathryn, thank you so much for joining us! Glad to hear you thoroughly enjoyed your experience! Hope to have you and your friends back again soon!
The food was mediocre. Not up to Guy’s best
Service was very slow
