Miku Restaurant - Toronto
We specialize in innovative Aburi Sushi and seafood. Combining traditional Japanese techniques and flavours with fresh, local ingredients, our highly skilled chefs pair each morsel of sushi with a unique house made sauce in order to bring out the rich flavour profile of the fish, and then seal the flavours with a binchotan (oak charcoal)- accompanied flame sear. The result is the secret to Miku's success: sushi with a smoky aroma, umami flavour, and decadent, melt-in-your-mouth texture.
We also offer a variety of seafood entrées, appetizers, as well as seafood platters.
Our menu is best paired with our extensive sake, wine, and cocktail selection.

Amazing Experience, Great Food, Great Price.
Try the Ichigo Mochi Dome for dessert, its Fantastic!
Dined on the patio at Miku-food ,service and ambiance were great. Fire heaters were a nice touch too.😊😊
Our 2nd visit. Sad to see only 6 tables (plenty of heaters though...) in the patio-tent, and the rest of the space unused because of pandemic. Staff is very upbeat and efficient.
As before the food was excellent. Had Ebi sushi, red wave rolls and a sashimi/nigiri combo. They also offer 0% beer!!!!!
Hope Miku makes it through the winter and can reopen to full capacity after the covid19
Delicious food as always and lovely tend with heaters. Service was warm and kind although four different people came to pour our wine even
Though we kept saying we’d like to wait. Otherwise amazing
Service was slow, restaurant was empty, felt unwelcome
Miku Toronto making the most of a difficult situation. As always great food, great ambiance.
My wife and I always enjoy our meals at Miku - the service was particularly good this time!
the artistry and attention to detail was stunning. The flavour combinations dreamed up by the chef were a delight for the tummy and soul. First time ever we had no need for any wasabi/soy dipping mix as all the nigiri created for our tasting experience already all the flavours built in. Had the Tasting menu. go for it!
Despite with current COVID19 issue, the restaurant has set up a tent at the patio and decorated professionally. The environment was very nice. The food was great. The fish was fresh.
The most amazing food I’ve had in a while, with great service!
Nice day for a patio and Miku was able to accomodate our requested seating locations. Great service, with excellent food choices, even for vegan and shy sushi eaters.
We will be back
Great service and delicious food. The server was exceptionally warm and helpful. Thank you!
Social distanced patio dining with dedicated heaters for each table. Was a nice break and service was great.
Miku has been one of our go-to spots for japanese cuisine. Our server was delightful but it seemed the place was understaffed. Even though she accommodated our needs we felt bad as she was basically running half the patio (6-8 tables). The patio was great as it had individual propane heaters at each table or enclosed by a tent. Food was amazing as always. Still our go-to place!
Love the outdoor patio set up. Lots of heaters and space. Food is always amazing and service was great!
We dined outside and the heaters kept us warm. We were seated with no delay, and had amazing drinks and supper. All the food was wonderful and Omar the bartender was the best. Our cocktails were outstanding.
We highly recommend Miko!
Went there to celebrate a friends birthday! The food was great! Patio was heated but not as heated as you think it should be. Service was okay.
As a vegan the food was not worth it at all for the price. Not impressed TORA is wayyy better. Would not go again.
Very nice food but if it is your first time is not very clear what to order. There is not much explanation in the restaurant about it, they could put pictures or be more explicit. There were dishes that were spicy and nobody explains
The food and service was amazing during the lunch hour. The waitress informed us what the chef special was describing each item.
Amazing food, service, and atmosphere - what more could you want?
Delicious food, always fresh, and efficient, friendly service.
The quality of the food is great!
The service is friendly and attentive.
Heaters outside were not very effective. They did the best they could.
Honestly love Miku, but the salmon oshi was not charred enough and it was cold and should be warm. The patio was not very not really that nice. Excepted better. The sobe was not as good as usual. Not muscles or scallops. I was just really disappointed and I’ve be there 100’s of times.
It was lovely despite the pandemic and restrictions. Outdoor seating is spaced out well. The food was of usual amazing quality that Miku usually has.
First Visit and i was amazed by the food, and presentation
i had the Miku 5 course meal and it was worth every dime.
The server was patient and also very polite.
Overall i had a pleasant experience and will definitely go back.
The food is excellent. The service, location! 10/10.
Very good restaurant and ambience. Food was great.
This was our first visit, and we enjoyed it immensely. The food was beautifully prepared and presented. We will definitely be returning in the future!
One of the most creative and high-quality Japanese restaurants I've ever been to. It's one of two favourites for the GTA.
Nice to see that the restaurant was almost full, both inside and out despite the pandemic. Tables were nicely socially distanced. We chose 2 different multi-course dinners and shared. Portions were perfect, presentation very nice. Service was attentive and pleasant.
In all a very positive experience for our first time visit.
I was very happy, we liked the food
As a Vancouverite who has been to MIKU in its home setting, I was impressed with the quality and creativity of the dishes here in Toronto. The sushi and sashimi dishes are delicious.
Of course, I'm biased on pricing as in Vancouver you can get incredible sushi/sashimi for a lot less - so yes, I believe the prices are a tad high, however, the quality of the food and the service and the ambience is excellent and therefore, I will pay the higher prices as it's Toronto and I'm glad MIKU is here.
Very good sushi restaurant, Something different... and excellent.
Amazing restaurant, service 5 stars.
The food is amazing, well prepared.
