Food is incredible. Excellent service. 5 stars!
Celebration for two family birthdays! Mignon did a fantastic job and the food was great!
The service was terrible. We sat for 20 minutes before being acknowledged. Rushing us to order and then long waits. My wine was brought after we finished eating. The steak was burned. Not charred, burned. Waitress slapped the check down without even asking if we wanted anything else. The waiter knocked my drink over, and while it was replaced, no effort was made to clean it up. No need to return. Ugh.
First time visit and we will return. First we had the Bacon Wrapped Quail. They were one of the best appetizers I have ever had - just outstanding flavor. Main course was the filet Mignon with white cheddar whipped potatoes. The steak was cooked as requested and the subtle flavor of the potatoes was on the mark. Dessert was creme brulee and chocolate cake - both were very good, especially the brulee, since it was not as sweet as most versions at other restaurants.
Exactly what we were looking for! Relaxing atmosphere, tentative service, every meal was prepared perfectly! Filet was perfect melted in your mouth! Halibut was beautiful topped with lumps of crab with a sauce that was 10 stars. I can’t forget the mussels 10 stars for that sauce too. The dessert was so great not too sweet just right Bread Pudding and Date Cake were tremendous. Highly Recommend
Not a first choice for a Christmas Day meal. I was surprised to find out upon seating that it was a buffet only menu. Service was lacking and the restrooms were nasty. I won’t go back.
Wonderful traditional holiday dinner. The turkey was flavorful and juicy. Nice overall experience.
Horrible. I took my entire family there for a nice Christmas dinner and I must say it was probably one of the worst experiences I ever had. The food was like eating at Luby’s the table was broken down patio furniture with a table cloth completely leaning and not level. The server did not bring us butter or water and we had to ask other attendants to pick up the slack. Then to top it off, was left with a $600 bill for 6 people and they added a 20% gratuity automatically. It made the taste that much worse especially since the food was mediocre at best. Will not be going back ever and I feel like a fool for bringing my family to this place for Christmas. Unbelievable...
Christmas Buffet , no rolls left, salmon overcooked and dry, deserts were finger food size probably from Kroger’s
A rip off at $59 each
We went for the Christmas Buffet. The food was amazing! The selection was excellent for the price. I think they were busier than they expected so there were a few times we had to wait for them to refill the buffet but it was all fresh.
We love Mignon’s food, service and atmosphere. We have dined here for many holiday meals. BUT now that it is a holiday buffet we will no longer dine on a holiday at Mignon’s. We do, however, plan to return to for meals that we can order off the menu. We have dined at a holiday buffet twice and were thoroughly disappointed both times. The food is not up to par for a $60 dinner, the buffet line is very congested making it hard to return to your table and the dessert are just okay. Our waiter did give us good friendly service. Thank you for giving me the chance to express my opinion.
Xmas buffet was horrible. I've had better at cheap wedding buffets. Had eaten Xmas dinner there several years ago and remember we all enjoyed. I left there embarrased that I recommended it.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly people, good food and no work putting it together or cleaning up after, my idea of a perfect Christmas dinner. The only thing you miss is what to do with all those leftovers!
We had a party of three for the Christmas Day brunch buffet. The restaurant is lovely. We sat in a covered/enclosed patio area overlooking a little pond. While the food was good, it wasn’t anything Special. I would have expected more for over $200.
I imagine that the dinner menu is better. I’d be willing to go back and try again.
Christmas Eve dinner.
Christmas Eve- fixed menu/price however clearly off service, had res but made to wait, then taken to table that wasn’t set and didn’t even bring bread and water for over 20 minutes. Waiter finally approached and asked if we had been served and since we hadn’t said he’d step in. Thankfully app and entree was delicious and redeeming. Dessert was lacking, creme brûlée cold and didn’t really didn’t feel like a special evening. We were only a party of two and many others had larger tables and had worse service.
Wouldn’t “celebrate” here again.
We went Christmas Eve so it was crazy busy and service was not good. We will try it again on a not so busy night. Food was real good.
This is the most unaccommodating staff we’ve encountered in a nice restaurant. Reservation was made with notation that it was a birthday celebration. I also pointed it out several times but nothing was done. I saw another diner with a sparking candle and noted it again over dessert. The waitress said that they usually do a candle and that she didn’t really read the reservation notes. We requested different sides and were told we would have to purchase them from one waitress when the previous waitress had advised it could be done with a small up charge. Overall, not a great experience.
Family Christmas brunch with our 6 grown children. Eggs for all of the Benedict’s we all ordered were overcooked. Appetizers were amazing though as was the private room. Main courses were not what you would expect for the price. Very disappointed overall.
We had a group of 11. Nevertheless, the service was great and everyone’s food was perfect.
Very disappointed in the service and prices were outrageous.
The food at Mignon is always good and they have some very interesting specials each day. The service is always friendly and the ambiance is very inviting.
Very nice. Music not too loud. Food was delicious and prepared as requested.
Food was just okay. Honestly, it was pretty bland. We had filet and lobster and the lobster, especially, was tasteless. I was disappointed in the food at that price. We have visited this restaurant a few times over the years, but we won't be back.
Waiter was not attentive at all. Food took forever to come out and no one was in the restaurant. Steak was suppose to be medium well and came out raw. Lobster was not cooked and when the second came out, it was so tough. Ruined my husbands birthday and not worth $260! Never going back.
Excellent Thanksgiving Neal and exceptional and attentive service.
Thank you for serving on Thanksgiving day!
The Thanksgiving spread was absolutely delicious and the owner was friendly.
always great as expected. what more could one ask
We went for the Thanksgiving buffet and it was very good. My favorite vegetable was the creamed corn. Everything was really good, though. The price was very reasonable. We have never been here before, but would definitely go again. The price of cocktails was pretty high and $4 for a cup of coffee, but that is probably true at most restaurants of this caliber.
Thanksgiving with adult nephew and his fiancée. Everything was on point. Very special.
We've celebrated Thanksgiving at Mignon's for 9 years now. The food on Thanksgiving is amazing & the service is wonderful!!
We enjoy ourselves every holiday we spend with the folks at Mignon's. The food is good the ambience is great, we love the fact that so many families have chosen the restaurant for a family celebration. Makes the restaurant all that more homey. Thank you to all the folks working who spend their holiday making us happy.
My family and I ate at Mignon for Thanksgiving and the food was absolutely delicious! The entire staff was also very welcoming from the time we entered until the time we left. I will say the price was a little steep for the food ($50 per person) but I understand it was a holiday buffet.
We've been to Mignon's before ... but we went this time for Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving day. Not bad at all. But not great. The buffet was reasonably priced and featured turkey, ham and salmon with all the traditional sides. The soup was very tasty, albeit lukewarm. No excuse for the soup not being hot. Shame on them. The main course and all the veggies were good, though the ham was dry and not all that tasty. Then it was time for the desserts. A good assortment. But what a mess. The way they cut the pies looked as if a child had done it. Not exactly appealing. As they did with the meats, they should have had someone behind the table serving the desserts. And we've had better service in the past. I understand it was Thanksgiving and they were plenty busy, but the service was ever so slow. We heard tables around us commenting on the service.
I'll never cook Thanksgiving dinner again. They do it perfectly. Our new tradition is Mignon.
Mignon served an excellent Thanksgiving buffet. It was very traditional with turkey and dressing and all the trimmings. Great quality! We will be back next year.
