Michelson and Morley
Excellent meal well prepared, but I miss the former frites
The server was polite, knowledgeable and accommodating. Enjoyed the food as well.
It was a very pleasant lunch. We met an old school mate and it was nice to have a quiet, faculty-like dining area on campus. A small but diverse menu. Try something out of your comfort zone. You won't be disappointed.
For a sit-down lunch in mid-campus at CWRU, this is really the only game in town. That is both good and bad ... overall, the food is delicious and the menu always interesting with lots of variety. The service has always been gracious but very, very slow; if you are in a rush and on a lunch hour, this is not the spot to visit.
I have always loved M and M for its food and ambience. On this visit there were only a few people, and it was almost too quiet. I was very disappointed that the "frites" were now French fries. In the past the frites were a highlight of the meal. Bring them back! I will try again, as I like to bring students to M and M for a special meal. Wish you could open for dinner......
Food and Service was subpar. Disappointed. Its not how it was pre-pandemic.
Delicious veggie burger and lovely ambience with a beautiful view of the Case campus. I look forward to going again.
Food quality was excellent, service very attentive yet not rushed, ambience attreactive and noise not intrusive. Would certainly frequent in the future.
Open table confirmed dinner for two Friday at 7pm.....
They were closed
Not open Friday night
Would love to give it a thumbs up, but have no idea
This is a great little find. Highly recommend. Somewhat limited menu but every thing available is very good. Prices reasonable. Cocktails excellent. Only mild complaint is that parking can be tricky. Third or fourth visit.
Had a wonderful time
Always pleased to have dinner at the restaurant before our concert at Severance.
Good food. Good service.
We enjoyed dining at Michelson and Morley and have in the past as well. However, our table was next to the open kitchen and loud barks from the kitchen chef became somewhat annoying. All in all we plan on returning during our next visit to the Cleveland Orchestra or Art Museum.
Michelson and Morley is our go-to restaurant for Cleveland Orchestra concerts and other events in University Circle. From the hostess to the servers the staff is always friendly and professional. The food is well-prepared and the beverages are nicely chosen and created.
Note for first-timers: make reservations at least several days in advance (at least) and allow an hour and a half or more for a relaxed dinner before a concert (especially if people in your party have mobility issues). If you park in the underground garage next to Severance Hall you can follow the signs to the Tinkham-Veale Student Center (a great option in the winter or inclement weather).
The staff appears to enjoy working there. They were fun to watch and were friendly both to each other and to the customers.
The tofu dinner was delicious as was the calamari. As usual the service was terrific. Great dinner. Thanks Mary Jo
Super service and very good food. This will become our go-to restaurant for dining before the symphony. A superb casual experience.
Excellant food and amazingly low prices. First class service and presentation. Convenient for attending Cleveland Orchestra concerts as it is in the Case Western Reserve Veale Student Center and shared a garage with Severance Hall. You park inside and never have to go outside to go to both buildings.
Great location with easy access to Severance Hall. Plan to park in Severance parking garage or on Bellflower if you can find a a spot (limited parking meter parallel parking, but meters stop at 6 pm, so you can have a nice evening without parking cost). Service was superb. Loved our hostess and waitress. Wine selection was excellent. Main dish of scallops superb - moderate portions/not excessive food. Everything was lovely.
LIked to new menu and the food was a notch up over past visits.
A little off the beaten path but worth seeking out. Food and service were very good. Look forward to a future visit.
I feel we are privileged to have such a fine, high quality, reasonably priced restaurant on our campus. It is run very professionally, staff is professional, and all this in a lovely appointed environment.
Moving on to the menu, it is diverse, phenomenal quality and always professionally serviced. My personal motto is: " presentation is everything." No matter what I order, the plates always have some garnish to make it attractive. Salads aren't just salads there. Yesterday I had a side salad to go with my hamburger. At other places, side salads comprise greens with a tomato. Not at MM, there were spices with a unique dressing as well. I haven't had a hamburger in Cleveland as good as MM's. When I do, it's a $20 meal.
Thank you for the wonderful service you provide with exceptional wait staff. Always pleasant, I am never treated as just another customer. I find no reason to leave campus to dine when your outstanding restaurant is only a few steps away.
New menu! Love that they frequently keep things fresh! Mary Jo was a very considerate host and checked to see if I needed a quiet place for my lunch meeting. She was able to accommodate us very easily! Great food and service!
The burgers were excellent and flatbreads did not disappoint. This restaurant is hidden in the back of the student center so was a bit hard to find but totally worth the walk over from the art museum.
Always excellent food. Great chicken sandwich. Nice atmosphere. Good service.
Everything was delicious! Excellent service.
We had the most wonderful service from Jason. We didn't realize that M&M is only open for dinner during concert nights. We had been somewhere else, so arrived a bit late for our reservations, but you would have never known it. The staff could not have been more welcoming nor given better service. The food was delicious and we had a lovely evening.
The service was prompt but not pushy. The waiter's entree recommendation was excellent. The food was very good, as was the wine. Everything was reasonably priced. The atmosphere was classy. It was a quick walk to Severance Hall. Overall a wonderful experience.
Food and service were excellent. We dined there before a holiday concert at Severance and it was super convenient. Based on the quality of the food and service we will be back for other occasions as well.
Very nice rest
We had an enjoyable dinner with friends prior to the Xmas concert by the Cleveland Orchestra.
Good food and great choice for dinner before a Cleveland Orchestra concert.
Dinner before Cleveland Orchestra. Food was excellent but waiter took a long time to come over to our table the first time and then even longer to get our drinks.
Lovely presentation of food. Lamb sliders were med.-rare & tasted great. Enjoyed the wine selection. Was a great spot to eat before we attended a concert @Severance Hall.
Food was very well prepared and i love the attention to seasonal ingredients. Service was okay in general, server seemed preoccupied and took a long time to get our bill.
The restaurant was very chilly and the hostess was very patient while we found a place more comfortable.
Dinner and service was very good.
Perfect before Severence. Convenient, variety in menu and good value
The food was outstanding, the staff was extremely kind and responsive. The service was great. We really enjoyed our experience before the symphony. It will be our new place for dinner before orchestra concerts!
Pre-Apollo’s Fire concert at CIM
