Serving "inspired cuisine" since 1987, the celebrated Michael’s On East restaurant takes fine dining to another level, offering award-winning cuisine and outstanding service, in an exceptional 1940s supper club atmosphere. Michael's On East has been inducted into Nation's Restaurant News Fine Dining Hall of Fame and recently received their 34th consecutive AAA Four-Diamond Award. The 350+ bottle wine list has been awarded the Best of Award of Excellence by the Wine Spectator!

Upon entering the dining room, you are immediately dazzled by the plush design and inspired décor. The restaurant’s intimate aura, along with its contemporary flare, world-class wine cellar and incomparable service, create an unparalleled dining experience.

Michael's Lounge, complete with a grand piano, is a guest favorite with its signature cocktails and award winning wine selection.

    Our waitress was excellent and engaging. Thanks Lauren. Nice experience with the food we ordered except for the brussel sprouts. Undercooked and bitter. Our opinion is to improve the recipe . Will definitely dine here again!

    Another fantastic dining experience in our favorite restaurant in the area. Service was great as usual. If you haven't gone to Michael's on East, you are missing out on the best that fine dining in Sarasota.

    The Lobster Pot was not up to its usual standards. No clams were included, the corn was mealy. The lobsters were delicious!

    We were celebrating our 7th Together Anniversary and knew it was Lobster Pot Friday. For a very reasonable price each of us had 2 -1 ¼ lb lobsters steamed with mussels, potato and corn. Every bite of each of the foods was exquisite and cooked to perfection service was awesome and in the end before we ordered dessert they brought us out an unexpected anniversary cake gratis. This was our third or fourth time there and each visit is a unique experience…one you should make sure to plan for. Lobster Pot is only available on Fridays, but you gotta get there early; by 7:15 all the lobster pots were claimed. The family atmosphere is unrivaled.
