   Good food, good service, nice evening We had an early dinner Saturday and had not been to Michael's for awhile. We had a nice table in the corner away from the bar, which we liked very much. Katee our server was great and Sea Bass and Veal Chop quite tasty. Portions were more than ample. Highly recommend for a special ocassion.

   We had heard about Michael's and decided to celebrate my wife's birthday there on a Saturday night. The outside seating in the atrium is quiet and the space is elegant. Our waiter was friendly and the food was inventive and very good. However, after receiving both bread and water we had to wait way too long to order cocktails which then took a quite a while to arrive. We ordered appetizers but they arrived without our waiter. We were half way through the apps before we could request the wine menu which, once again, took way too long to arrive. Lastly, I was disappointed when the desert we ordered arrived without a candle, especially after noticing it at 2 other tables. Overall, while the food was great it was not a special experience. Might bo back but I doubt it.

   Katy is a top notch server. Lobster dinner was deslicious but the Mexican dinner was average. Love eating there, We always feel at home, and everyone does their best to make dining there a very enjobable evening. Even the valet parker is great!!.

   It had been several years since we had been to Michael’s, but it won’t be that long until we go back. One attraction for us is their solid wine list - much better than most in the area from a variety and price perspective. But the food was very solid as well. Not Michelin star quality or particularly innovative, but very good and well worth a visit, particularly for nicer occasions. For us it’s a good option for our monthly “very nice” dining, i.e., three course dinner for two for $250-$300, including a nice bottle of wine. But you can spend half or twice as much if that is your preference on a particular evening. This visit we had the angel-hair onion rings, two salads, sea bass and bow tie pasta entrees, and a shared desert, with a bottle of white wine. Everything was excellent, including the cheerful service by Freddie.

   The steaks (filet and ribeye) were really good! The Mac n cheese was the best we’ve ever had. They made our anniversary dinner special with a nice dessert that was delicious but we were too full to finish. Wonderful service from Derrick and Nick!

   I would certainly recommend Michaels. We really enjoyed every aspect of our experience. The cocktails were delicious, the appetizers and dinner were excellent. Freddy was our server and he was attentive, kind and polite. He had a smile the whole time we were there. We will be back and I do hope we have the same experience, as this was our first time attending.

   Our server was very polite, attentive and upbeat. She could use a little more knowledge of the various wine options, but that will come with time. MOE is a Sarasota staple. Always solid. The space itself is extremely outdated with odd paintings on the walls and this probably works well with the 70 and above crowd. One thing that bugs a lot of male patrons is the lack of a privacy barrier between the two urinals which makes you feel like you are going to the bathroom in Fenway Park. Need that.

    Sat outdoors in the atrium area, wonderful ambiance. Perfect level of service, attentive but not annoying. Pompano Casbarian a must. Best Branzino ever, Greek style. Duck two ways was excellent. Hoisin Confit Duck & Veggie Spring rolls were an awesome start.
