Perfection. Omg the desserts and appetizers. The fish was beautiful.
Ambiance is nice. Service is great, but the food is rather overpriced and not particularly outstanding. Plan to spend $100 - $125 per person for an appetizer and main without wine or cocktails.
Magical. Tasting menu exceptional and a great value. Wonderful splurge for an unforgettable experience
The food is amazing! I had the tasting menu which included a spice crusted striped bass with a Thai style coconut milk sauce and vegetables. It was the best fish dish that I ever had! Also, the wait staff is precessional and attentive. Greg was my waiter and he provided great service and recommendations. He has been at this restaurant since the restaurant opened 20 years ago. I highly recommend Michael Mina at the Bellagio.
It was my husbands birthday and a nice touch was a card on the table and a very good chocolate desert. The fish was excellent -huge lobster pot which could easily feed two. Black cod excellent also.
Food is amazing - have to try the tuna and the snapper. Wine pairings were on point. Ask for the side room for a more private setting.
Based on many good reviews we decided to try this restaurant on our second evening in Vegas. We had gone to Picasso the evening before which was spectacular. The atmosphere is not great. Small and loud with waiters rushing all over the place. Not what you would expect. We ordered the corn/ crab soup to start and shared it. It was very good and great to share as it was a very large portion. The bread that is served is similar to pizza bread and is served w hummus and chopped olives. This was also delicious. Then it all went down hill. My husband ordered the black cod and I ordered the signature dish - lobster pot pie. It would have been nice for the waiter to tell us upfront that the lobster pot pie should be ordered for two to share. Instead we found that out after we ordered so we had two expensive entrees that we would not be able to finish. My husband thought the black cod had a funky taste. I just thought it was only warm / not hot and the skin was not crispy. It was ok, but not worth $55. The lobster pot pie was horrible. The sauce is so thick and sherry ridden that it overwhelms the dish. The lobster inside is over cooked so it’s lost it’s flavor. We left a lot of both meals on our plates. We were disappointed in the whole experience. This meal w one glass of wine ( only me, husband drank water) was a waste of over $200. Comparatively, we spent almost $500 the night before but had amazing food including butter poached lobster, oysters etc. I will not go to another Michael Mina restaurant. Executive chefs need to keep watch on restaurants with their brand.
Table side carved Branzino was fantastic w house salad. Great cocktail. Even the iced tea was tasty. Would not allow 6 smelly men wearind shorts and tee shirts in. Way to go!
Outstanding. One of best meals I’ve ever had.
We had eaten at Michael Mina's several years ago and had a very good experience. This time was not the case that started with the attitude of the waiter. My wife and I perceived that he believed we knew very little about food and wine. When we said we wanted to start with a glass of wine, preferably a white burgundy, he said he had a Meursault at $20 that he could serve us. We said we love Meursault and ordered two glasses. Instead he brought a Mâcon Villages at the same price. Later during the tasting menu, he substituted several lesser wines that the ones described on the tasting menu. Although the food was very good, it was not outstanding as we had remembered before. Being that the cost was extremely high, there was no value. An equal dining experience can be enjoyed elsewhere for substantially less money.
It was fantastic. We had a tasting menu with the wine pairing. The lobster pot pie and the wagyu beef was amazing. Highly recommend.
Delicious food! Love the seafood menu! We didn’t do the tasting menu only because we were not that hungry. However, we had the Foie gras appetizer (wow!), the grilled lobster and split a whole fish fried Thai style. The lobster was okay but the fish was perfect (crunchy outside, flaky inside, just spicy enough but not truly hot). The wine list is extensive and well curated. Great meal! We will return.
Loved the new decor! Great job giving this restaurant a facelift. Felt modern and relevant. Was a well anticipated meal return and we were a little disappointed they ran out of both meals we ordered so we had to substitute. Husband really wanted lobster pot pie. At an 8 pm sitting. Knowing we wouldn’t be back for at least many months it was a disappointment to not be able to get the lobster pot pie. Also ran out of the fish I had wanted so I went with a blackened fish. Both of the pieces of fish were incredible but the blackened sauce was overpowering on my entree. It was too much sauce and too overpowered f for the delicate fresh fish. Everything g else was amazing. The tuna tar tar appetizer still so wonderful We loves the strawberry dessert with the delicate textures. This restaurant offers a very elegant experience of the senses and the staff are very attentive.
The food was fine but very expensive. Same with the wine list. Also, they were out of some of wines on the wine by the glass. Service was fine but overall the cost was way too expensive for the quality.
Delicious food and attentive service ( without being overbearing). We will go back next time we are in Las Vegas.
The tuna tartare is incredible. The branzino spectacular! My only complaint is that the space between our appetizers and meal was much to long.
Outstanding!! We had the tasting menu. Memorable dinner... tuna tartare, sole, lobster pot pie and wagyu beef...dessert was also delicious 😋 impeccable service. Great experience!
Unbelievable food and service. Blown away by some of the depth of flavors on the beautifully plated courses. Definitely recommend thinking about getting the tasting menu. Awesome experience.
I killed 2 bugs sitting at my table due to the flowers at Bellagio. Not very nice to be swatting bugs for otherwise a very nice night out.
Amazing fish display.
The service is top of the line and the food is well prepared creative and fresh.
The food was amazing of itself but the service was spectacular. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Made all great recommendations.
Wonderful service. World class presentation! Food incredible. Home run!
We’ve been here many times in the past and have always enjoyed it. But this time with the newly revamped menu and renovated interior it was an elevated experience. The new seafood offerings were fantastic and a great reason to come back and have a new choice to dine on.
Hands down one of the best meals I have ever had every cocktail we tried was amazing and the food was incredible , caviar parfait, tuna tartare and the fish , omg, everything was prepared to perfection and then the strawberry panna cotta from heaven from dessert . I now have a new favorite restaurant .
Excellent atmosphere with the ability to actually converse with your dining partner. Service is impeccable! We selected the Signature Tasting Menu and everything was explained to give us comfort and a clear description along the course of dining. Well worth the extravagant price, money well spent to have such a unique culinary experience. We will dine there again.
Food better than ever plus great service
Worst meal among many that we have had at MM spots. Staff, including manager, was big on chatting, but terrible. On follow through. Have eaten at Aqua (SF and LV) before and after LV became MM, Nobhill, Stripsteak and Seablue. A big thumbs down, will not return and definitely passing the word to our friends/foodies. Save your time and money, eat elsewhere for a better meal/experience.
As always our dinner was a delight. If you are a fois gras fan you will love the chef’s New preparation. Instead of pan seared it is roasted to perfection and prepared with roasted mango. It was one of the best we’ve had!
We have tried the foie gra and the ahi tune starters and then shared lobster pot pie. While the starters were good, I was very underwhelmed with the pot pie. Considering it is chef's special, I was expecting a bit more I guess. It lacked salt and the sauce wasn't thick enough so it was lacking the flavors. And the souffle that everybody posts photos about wasn't available that night either. So we couldn't finish our meal at a high note. We were happy about the service.
My grilled shellfish was over cooked. Scallops excellent, lobster and prawns mushy. Exquisite salad. Warm, flavored flatbread with three special spreads to start. A surprisingly good special cocktail, The ooh lala. Our waiter was delicious and very helpful. Made me wish the food was better.
Tasting menu is highly recommended... and served with much larger portions than you expect on a tasting. Come hungry or you won’t get through it.
Wonderful. We had both tasting menus and it was amazing.
I’ve dined at this restaurant many times in the past and have always had an excellent experience. However it appears that management has recently replaced the wines on the chef’s tasting menu with vastly inferior (cheap) alternatives which do not live up to the promise nor the expectations of this restaurant. For example, in the past the first course of caviar was paired with Henriot Rose Champaign ($80 bottle) - now the course is paired with Tattinger brute ($40/bottle). For Michael Mina to serve Dr Loosen Riesling with their meal is insulting to customers who pay to be exposed to great wines as part of the chef’s tasting menu. Additionally the caviar course is no longer included in the meal but must be purchased as an add-on at an additional cost. This restaurant was never a great value; however these changes made me feel that the high cost of eating here was no longer justified.
Delicious and lovely. Enjoyed our cocktails. Food was amazing. Love Michael Mina restaurants!
Michael Mina exceeded our expectations. It was a delicious and unique experience.
I cannot say enough about this restaurant ... our server, Paul, was simply over the top! Attentive, very knowledgeable about the food and wine pairings, but his take on timing for the tasting menu was impeccable! The food was superb, the restaurant had a really good vibe, we weren't rushed, we were able to savor each course of the tasting menu and were also able to customize one of the items to our preference in plenty of time for our 9:30 show.
Superb food- Tuna Tartare is the best I’ve ever had, beautifully prepared with addition of just enough accompanied spice
Arctic Char was amazing.
Waiter was well versed in the restaurant’s lore and the prep of the food, and genuinely interesting to talk to.
Wonderful experience - would recommend the tasting menu
Tasting menu was amazing. Courtney was exceptional!
