We had a tight schedule due to a 7 p.m. show. The dinner literally lasted around an hour.
The service is without a doubt one of the top notch. The waiter was professional and knowledgable.
We were recommended the dinner that is designed for people who has a tight timeline. It is a $70 3-course menu, with some selections for each of the course.
That is to say, we had 2 starters, 2 entrees and 2 desserts.

Then the food kind of disappointed us maybe due to our high expectation.
Overall the food in Michael Mina is more of sour taste. You would be able to spot lots of sour elements from starters to desserts, especially the lemon tart.

The filet mignon was definitely overcooked. We ordered medium rare, and the dish was served solid as a stone. That is definitely at least medium well. The waiter kindly apologized and replaced our dish. However, that squeezed our time even more. It took another 15min for them to prepare the dish.

I would give praise to the 2 courses out of the 6: The starter sea urchin toast, and the entree black cod.

I would still say yes in terms of whether suggesting people to try it out. I think the sour taste may cater to other customers, and the mistake we encountered is rare.

Made a reservation and the place was virtually empty when we arrived and stated that way. Never a good sign! Our server was fair - he seemed out of place and could not properly pronounce ‘amuse buche’ which was pretty bad. Daughter had the tasting menu and liked most of it. My husband had Kons kampachi done asian style and it was decent but over salted. I got black cod which was also too salty and bitter. Took forever to get bill prepared for us. Not worth the $ and we don’t recommend!

Food was very good. The server and his team were great and gave us good advice on the menu. The only thing I would say is the desserts were a little lacking.

I would rate with 10 stars! It was an exceptional meal with outstanding service — a wonderfully memorable experience. Thank you to the chefs, the servers, the remarkable waiters and the outstanding sommelier. One of our party had never experienced a tasting menu but certainly now is a convert. Thank you all for your kindness, skill and good humor.

Found the kampaci fish to be overly seasoned, could not even discern the fish flavor. The accompanying veggies were too salty to even eat.

First mediocre meal at this restaurant.

My fiancé and I had a few nights together in Vegas and decided to explore Michael Mina as it was recommended to us by a friend. Our experience was fantastic.

Food: We did the tasting menu and every single course was delicious and exciting. We were stuffed by the end of it but we preservered. The highlight, for me, was the crusted sole and ahi tartar. I’ve just had three tasting menus on back-to-back nights and Michael Mina’s was the best by a long shot.

Ambiance: The ambiance is good. It’s not exactly candlelight dinner... and the bar does have tv screens but if you sit further back in the restaurant, it’s not as bad. Due to the convention in town, it was really busy and hectic BUT that was really all of vegas.

Service: The waiters were amazing and so attentive. They felt so guilty because the restaurant was crazy busy and were so nice and welcoming to us. They topped off our night with complimentary champagne which was much appreciated.

If you’re looking for a tasting menu in Vegas, look no further.

We had the tasting menu. It was 6 courses of gastronomic delight. Get the caviar parfait Be sure to take a nap before you go, the dinner takes a full evening and you don't want to run out of energy only 4 or 5 courses into the meal. Fantastic!

Alicia at the bar provides excellent service to us( we ate at the bar)! We had great seafood especially the grill whole fish !It was very flavorful and the sauce on top of the fish was soooooo unique and tasty!
Everything from the service to the food is awesome!

Jorge and Marcio truly made our dining experience one of a kind! Marcio explained every dish we ordered with such great detail! Marcio even went out of his way to discuss how many of the fish are flown in on private jets from as far as New Zealand. The fish is either grilled, broiled, or fried and it changes daily. One dish to watch is the hot shellfish platter, which is glazed with miso butter. This is really the star of the menu. That said, I loved the 45-day dry aged steak! Jorge, the manager, checked on our table several times throughout the night and genuinely made sure we were satisfied. In a packed restaurant, we were treated like we were the only patrons dining in the restaurant! Michael Mina should be very proud of this restaurant and the experience it offers! We will certainly be returning!

Our first experience at Michael Mina's was absolutely great. We chose the tasting menu for our Christmas Eve dinner and were not disappointed. Taking the wine pairing option also saved us from wading through an awesome - but lengthy - wine list.

The only (slight) flaw in the meal was the overcooked meat in the lobster pot pie. Compared to all the pluses, it was a minor inconvenience.

This was our 1st time eating here after the many stays at Bellagio, & we wondered why did we wait so long! It was extremely delicious! It will definitely be a regular on our places to eat at while I’m Vegas!

As a vegetarian married to a pescatarian we don't often go to seafood places cos the options for me are limited and not great. However I was STOKED to see the vegetarian tasting menu here. Amazing. Worth every penny. So much food and so filling.

We eat @ Michael Mina's quite often in Las Vegas. However we have been Disappointed in other MM's in OTHER Cities! We decided to eat @ the Bar since we were dressed very casual. The Bartenders tend to their customers very well... Food in MM's Las Vegas is ALWAYS top notch! Our Favorited is their pan seared Foie Gras with Mango which we SWAP for the Tasting Menu DESSERT... Always a GREAT Recipe since we have had MANY others HERE! Tasting Menu is VERY filling so try to stay away from the Bread.

The Signature Tasting Menu was superb. Real standouts were the pavlova with beets as the amuse bouche, the caviar tower, and the fish course. Wonderful service.
