Our visit was overall wonderful. It took longer than it should’ve to get our drinks, considering it wasn’t busy at all. But other than that, we had a great experience
Our server was amazing! The food and beverages were top knotch! We will definitely be going back.
Our server was FANTASTIC...She was EXTREMELY sensitive to my various (and prob ANNOYING!) requests for my dinner!! She even had many wonderful suggestions!! I will def be back!!
I would not recommend this restaurant for brunch. Although it was not terrible, there was nothing special about it and the service was okay. Given that we were one table of about 4-5, the server could have been more attentive. Maybe something was going on that day. I have had lunch and dinner and have had a very good experience.
I have been to Mia's twice now and both times were for brunch. The service my second time was top notch but the place was also very empty. The food is always delicious and fresh. The best, unique meal I have had locally in awhile.
Our waiter Tom was courteous and attentive. We continually have a good experience here and the food is always awesome!
The food was really good, but the service was lacking. My wife and I enjoy sitting at the bar, primarily for better service and to be among others. Over the course of the evening, we had to ask for another drink, ask for more water, ask for utensils, ask and for our plates to be cleared. The bartender was very nice and personable, but he was either overwhelmed, new, or both. The ambiance is great, which surprised us since it's located in a hotel. We'll definitely give it another try, but if the service is lacking again, it'll be our last visit.
Everything was perfect and Mia Francesca is always our favorite! Our server went above and beyond, very attentive and so happy! Wonderful!!
The food was excellent. Our waiter Eric was personable, very knowledgeable about the food and the wine, and was an attentive server.
Good food and service. The upstairs wine room is quieter and a good setting for a romantic dinner.
Great food and fantastic service. Went New Years Eve and service was quick and attentive.
Food and staff were excellent. Great restaurant in North Hills.
The food, drinks, and service were all great. The procuitto brescheta was beyond good. MF salad is a must!
We came for the Christmas dinner buffet with friends and had a wonderful time! The food and wine was great and the kids all left satisfied as well!
We were not overly impressed with our overall experience at Mia Francesca Trattoria. I made reservations in advance and during that process there was a "special note" section in which I asked for a cozy spot with a nice view if possible because it was a special occasion for my wife and I, not just due to the holiday, but also because we hadn't been able to be together for a while. However, no one paid any attention to the note and the hostess (who was wearing shorts) tried to stick us at one of their tiniest tables right in the middle of everything. I wasn't about to be placed in a spot like that, especially since I had made a special request and knew that we'd be spending close to $150 to dine there, so I had them move us to a more preferable location.
Then there was something that I considered to be almost a form of theft, and that was the automatic 18% "gratuity" they charged, which angers me in general, but more so here because no mention was made of it when I made reservations and because we essentially served ourselves, as that day's meal was a buffet. Further, our glasses were never refilled unless we specifically asked for them to be. Then on the bill they had a spot listed for an 'additional tip' so one could have the pleasure of adding to the 18% they took from you without permission or advanced notice in the first place.
Lastly, though the meal was pleasant enough, the desert options were of little interest (cheap for what was being paid) and the one glass of wine we ordered was very expensive. So in the end neither my wife nor I were too impressed for the price and gratuity fee charged.
Christmas buffet. Prime rib was good but ham was very very salty & the rest of the buffet was mediocre. Service was great but the person sitting behind us had a gallon of cologne on which in no fault to the restaurant made it enjoyable to dine. We normally very much enjoy Mia Francesca’s menu but this honestly wasn’t very good.
The Christmas brunch was expensive and little more than typical "wedding fare." We were seated upstairs and therefore had to navigate stairs while holding our plates. The buffet was poorly labeled and much of the food was bland as well as luke-warm. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
It was excellent. Can't wait to take my mom here when she's in town.
Went for Christmas day buffet. Food was good service was good.
Went here for a Christmas lunch buffet, extremely overpriced for the food quality. The restaurant was so packed you could barely get to your table without accidentally bumping someone. I guess Christmas lunch comes at a premium even if it's trash.
This Christmas buffet was disappointing. The dining room was so cold that warm food was quickly cold. There was no soup to warm up with. The service was excellent and accommodating.
The Christmas Brunch was tasty. The food was healthy and colorful. The service was amazing. My waiter was the best!
Terrible food and extremely expensive for such a horrible food but waitress really nice
Maybe it was the wrong time of the year. It was Christmas Eve and the staff seemed inundated and overwhelmed. We had to send the food back several times - either the temporeratire was wrong or the order was not as listed on the menu. I would not return. The staff we very gracious and comped my husband’s food. They need more staff.
Everything was just ok, not good, not horrible. We will not be returning.
Wonderful Christmas Eve meal. Was not easy to find a restaurant open that took reservations. Thank you for being open! Our server, Meg, was attentive and delightful. The hostess, Claudia was friendly. The staff serving and clearing tables were well trained. The food was exceptional. The holiday cocktail (Maple Old Fashion) was excellent. Will be back. Great "find".
The food was decent but the portion size was far too small for the price paid.
Outstanding food and service on Christmas Eve. May God bless us all. / Mark
Delightful brunch with friends. Love the mimosas!!
We all 5 ordered spinich raviolis every plate was luke warm .It was not the right temp by a longshot . Very disappointed we are or were repeat customers .
We were there on a Wednesday evening, and it was crowded. We were eating for 3 hours and nobody gave us a hard time. The food was great, the service was good - except for once he forgot about us, but that happens. The bread is always great. My wife is vegan and they had good options for her. She enjoyed her meal.
Was very disappointed in this restaurant. Service was excellent but sadly the food was very bland and over priced. Also the tables in the middle of the dining room are VERY close together. Would not recommend this place or be returning. There are FAR better Italian restaurants for what you pay.
The food is amazing, the service is always good and the place in beautiful.
We had early dinner reservations and we had our choice of seating. the service was great and the food was good too.
Very fresh authentic Italian. Was very quiet on a Sunday Night. Nice wine selections. Attentive staff.
Excellent food and service .
Definitely will be back
We had a party of 4. 3 of the 4 dinners came out cold and were sent back. Only time this has happened.
We had a Thanksgiving buffet here. Supposed to be a place for fine dining, our experience was disappointing. Even though we took a reservation in advance, we were still placed in a foldable table with foldable chairs. The table even doesn't has a table cloth! The food was average-quality buffet with limited selection. Some times the food got cold and was not replaced in time. Given the price was 46$ for each and a 18% service fee, I really do not recommend this place for dining.
We have eaten at Mia Francesca on several occasions, so we were looking forward to trying what sounded like a great Thanksgiving menu. We arrived promptly for our 6:00 reservations. After 10 minutes, one of the hostesses attempted to seat us where she had been directed, only to find that the patrons were still waiting to pay their bill. So, we headed back to the lobby to wait until a table was available. We were finally escorted to a table large enough for 8(we were a party of 3!). Just as we were sitting down, we were asked by the possible owner and possible manager/assistant manger, if we would mind moving one table over... big enough for 6! We graciously moved over. A few minutes later, the “manager” Arrived with 3 Bellini cocktails. A nice gesture... he began to tell us about the buffet layout. I inquired if a waitress would be coming to take our drink order. He said she would but he could get us what we wanted. We hadn’t been offered a wine list, so we ordered water and a couple of glasses of Pinot Grigio. After he dropped off our drinks, no one checked on us at any point during the rest of our meal! Bus boys cleared our plates but our water was never replenished nor did anyone ask if we needed anything!
The next issue was pretty major. There was no turkey at our Thanksgiving meal! Who runs out of turkey on Thanksgiving! We tried the prime rib which was nearly too tough to eat and pretty tasteless, as were the mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. other items were also missing or not served as described. Nothing on the buffet was worth the $46 + 18%. To say the least, we were more than disappointed. We waited for 15 minutes after finishing eating and again no one approached us or brought us a bill. At that point we decided that we had had enough of this place! Upon leaving, I notified the hostess of our complaints and that we would not be paying our bill. She was very sweet and apologetic. Thanks for ruining our holiday Mia Francesca!
A perfect Thanksgiving and now a new tradition!!
Honestly, I didn’t feel like cooking and cleaning this year. With all the dietary challenges...it would have been that much more difficult. So instead, I googled places serving Thanksgiving and Mia Francesca caught my eye.
The dinner was buffet style with lots of options. My vegetarian was pleased as was my littlest carnivore. ☺️ The prime rib was perfection and the green bean casserole was fantastic. I personally loved the Brussels sprouts...which is a shocker. My youngest loved the mussels. It was win win for the entire family. Service was great. Drinks were refilled quickly and plates were removed quickly.
We will be back next year. Hands down the best Thanksgiving ever.
