Not much to say. Food was ok nothing to bring me back. The service was good but I had to wait on another glass of wine. This day and age you think it would be all about selling more.
Very good food - Monday build your own pasta special is an excellent and affordable choice; same with appetizer specials!
We went to Mia Bella for the first time before attending an Eagles concert at the Toyota Center. Although it took a while to get our food (because it was SO busy) , we were very pleased with the overal experience and the quality of the food.
Not sure why, but we were given a complimentary appetizer which was delicious.
The server came by to proactively apologize about the time it took for the main course to be delivered. We said no problem. Then... the manager came over and poured us a complimentary glass of wine, which she said was "on her" because of our wait. We thought that was great. We will definitely return.
Had the ahi tuna. It was outstanding.
Antonio was awesome, had a great time and a great meal! The happy hour is amazing!!
Have not been here in 10 months. however, I would now give them 5 our of 5 stars. food, service and atmosphere was great (even for a Tuesday). Great job!
Enjoyed a good meal!
Our group of 6 showed up about 30 minutes before our reservation. We were going to have a drink at the bar before we sat down to eat. The restaurant was empty except for a couple of tables. Took the waiter a while to ask us about drinks. All mixed drinks were sub-par. We were looking to take our time and enjoy some apps, dinner and drinks, but the waiter was very pushy to try and get us to go ahead and order our entrees. Overall, the atmosphere had a weird vibe. Food was ok, but not worth the prices they had on menu. Too many other good restaurants in the area to consider going back to this one again.
My family and friends had dinner at Mia Bella’s near the Toyota Center before a concert on Saturday, February 15th. It was a fabulous experience from the moment we stepped through the door because of the gracious hostess, personable manager, our patient and delightful server Marco, and scrumptious food - reasons I’d go out of my way to go back.
Food lukewarm. Pizza was under baked. Salads were fine. Dessert good. Appetizer good. Paid $75 plus for a meal that was sub par. Won’t return. Manager nice.
Had a quick bite before a concert. Perfect location service was excellent.
It was pricey for us. But wonderful food .
Richmond location is SO MUCH better. So sorry we went on Valentine’s Day- experience was approaching mediocre- regular menu was gone. Holiday menu subpar. Waitstaff was annoying and inept. Food was so so. Music was terrible- and a mood KILLER. I speak Spanish and was turned off by the endless, annoying bachata and merengue music with whiny singers, in an Italian restaurant that is supposed to be modern and chic. I usually like Latin music but it was up too loud and the music was awful. Waste of a special dinner. Never again. Richmond location is it for me for good.
Overall great experience! From the food to the service...Highly recommended!!
Best food I’ve had in a very long time. Highly recommend!
We've had two great experiences in a row at MBT as we ate before a HOB show. The build your own pizza has some great options (I opted to turn it into a calzone for an extra $2) and the house salad (with pear and walnuts) is nicely dressed and a delicious starter. The gnocchi is excellent and creamy and the chicken marsala was cooked properly with the right amount of sauce. I would like to see more draft beer choices, and outside the major brewer/Silver Eagle stranglehold would be a nice add as well. There are so many good local brewers here that no one needs to serve the mass produced stuff any more.
We'll be back again and again.
Pork chops are PERFECT!
Terrible service-food was mediocre. I won’t go back. Took 20 minutes to get our check.
outstanding mediterranean food, large menu; went with 3 friends on a mid-week night (~8pm) and not a lot of traffic, but the service was slow, some of the items on the menu were not available, and there seemed to be relatively little attention to our table (compared with previous visits); perhaps a change in personnel, but the service wasn't up to their typical standards. Still, a nice dinner for the price.
The food was very good and the wait staff was excellent. We are looking forward to going again soon.
Our server was fabulous and very attentive. I was extremely disappointed we were moved to the other restaurant when someone (not me) added guests to my reservation. It's not Mia Bella's fault; but I wish I had been told about being moved because I would not have allowed the additional people. I do not like the seating in the other restaurant.
We had a fun time. Service was very pleasant and food was good.
Excellent menu, excellent serviced
We ate dinner two nights in a row while staying in a nearby hotel. The food & service were excellent both nights and the owner/manager visited with us on the first night and welcomed us back on our second visit. We also ate at the bar in the adjoining Andalucia Tapas Restaurant and it was excellent, too. Wine and food prices were very reasonable.
We went for my birthday. The staff was very nice. The calamari was ok. I’ve had better. The asparagus soup was OUTTA THIS WORLD!!! A pleasant surprise. I had the trout & my friend had the seafood lasagna. I had a nice portion of food, but the presentation was what it tasted like. Just ok. He had a small portion of lasagne & it was nothing special to me either. Martinis were ok. The manager came over & was really nice. She sent me a slice of cake & Antonio sang HBD. She kept checking on us to make sure we were having a great dining experience. I’d be willing to try the Mexican side of the restaurant.
Sheesh... I’ve never left a review before but this was a doozy. Came here for New Years Eve with my girlfriend (just us two dining) and the restaurant only has 2 tables occupied which was the first red flag. Then they seat us in the corner of the restaurant near the restrooms (no big deal, but still). Then we see there is a New Years menu that is $60/head which was not advertised on Open Table or their website (once again, no big deal... but still). The menu has some interesting options that require a bit of explaining, so we asked for a quick run through of the options (2-3 options per course - 4 courses total). The waitress had no idea what the options were and proceeded to just read through them word by word. Then she said she’d ask the chef, and proceeded to bring in some guy from “next door” to explain the options. He also didn’t know the menu, but knew more about food in general so he was able to describe them a bit. Whatever, annoying but the food had been good up to this point (bread, salad, and soup). Then we got our main entrees and the steak was overcooked. There was a couple that sat next to us that was able to order off of the normal dinner menu, which was not given as an opportunity to us. Then we order desert which was so so disappointingly bad. Was hoping to end on a somewhat positive note and just get out of here. Finally, we get our checks and there is an automatic gratuity 20% added to our check... at this point I reached my breaking point and asked to speak with the waitress. The owner came up to the table and I explained the situation and he briefly apologized and removed the auto gratuity. I’ve never had such poor service before, and I will not be going back.
Food was been quite okay. But as I ordered Squid inked pasta with seafood I thought the past would be squid inked colored or at least the pasta sauce. To me it seemed the squid ink was out. Nevertheless it was tasty. On the other hand they answered special wishes for little picky eater immediately. But the ice cream - we had for dessert - unfortunately included ice crystals which shouldn't be part of it.
Great food and lots of choices, great service! They make you feel right at home!
Pizza and homemade pastas are incredible. Been dining at Mia Bella for almost 20 years and it keeps getting better. I love some of the new flavors they are incorporating and creative dishes.
Excellent food and great service. My family and I had a great experience. Thank you!
Food was phenomenal! Had GF/DF options!
We arrived early to our reservation as we had a concert to get to at 8pm. They were great at seating us 30 minutes early but in their adjacent restaurant. It was quieter there but less fancy. It was our option to seat early so that was ok. Our waiter was nice; but extremely over loaded with tables. Drinks arrived immediately, but Took 20 min to take food order. We finished our bottle of wine before food arrived & asked for another. Food arrived & no 2nd wine bottle. Food 3/4 eaten & then waiter brought wine. We rejected it as meal was pretty much done.
We still tipped 20% because waiters are under paid not wait staff bad service. We will happily try again when. We are not pressed for time.
Excellent service. Very reasonable wine prices. We had six diners and all enjoyed their meal. Walking distance from Embassy Suites and Hilton America’s.
Food was excellent! We loved the artichoke appetizer. The calamari was delicious as well. The service was great! People in our party ordered the soup, pasta and pizza and everything was very delicious!!!!! The ambiance was not ideal because we were seated by the door and a cold gust of wind could be felt whenever the door opened. However the restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holiday and we enjoyed the music as well.
Great location for Toyota Center event. Food and service was excellent.
Service was very good and quick as we were heading to a play
Food very good as usual
Ate with 3 colleagues after a day of conference sessions. Menu was great - everyone in my group had a difficult time deciding because so much sounded really good. Everyone was happy with food and drinks choices. Server was friendly and attentive. Prices were noticeably lower than other restaurants in the area we visited, but I have no idea why. The restaurant is lovely, and the service and food were outstanding.
Food was outstanding & the staff were extremely attentive & anxious to please. We told them we were trying to make a Rockets game & we were served super fast
Great swrvice and awesome food! And the bread is delicious!
