First time at Mezza Grille and definitely will not be the last. The food was delicious and fresh, the service was great!
Everything was first-class as always!
The food was delicious as always. The service was great. Our table from our reservation was ready as soon as we arrived. This was my 3rd time dining at Mezza and I have not been disappointed yet!
Consistently first-rate food and service. Traditional Italian dishes and unique Mediterranean.
Great food and service. We celebrated Mother's Day. We had the mango stuffed chicken, mixed grill, lamb shanks, some pastas. They are very good. We received excellent services. Because of Mother's Day celebration, they are complimented us with two free deserts.
We went to Mezza Grille for Mothers Day. My wife picked it for the restaurant had great reviews and the menu had interesting flavors that were of interest to her.
All of our food was very good and the staff was very helpful. Worth trying.
Meal and dinner was great had a wonderful time
Food was excellent and innovative. Service was awesome.
We are SO happy to have found Mezza Grill! The food was outstanding and we will definitely put this on our regular rotation! In the strip mall near The Palm on Westheimer, ample parking available (no valet but the Fuad's valet said he could do it, we declined). Outdoor tables, which people were enjoying. We ate inside, décor is very average/nothing special....but this is all about the food! Poured my husband a very generous Crown, $10, and I ordered a bottle of their house wine for $25. Good value all around. My Lemon Chicken with Chipolte noodles was not only delicious but a very generous portion that we will enjoy today. Husband had mixed grill -- succulent grilled tenderloin, beef and chicken with rice and grilled vegetables. The chips/flat bread -- whatever it is was delicious, complimentary when you are seated. $105 before tip -- very very good and we will be back!
The Mango chicken was one of the best chicken dishes I've ever eaten. Whole family raved about it!
Great food, great value, chill atmosphere, wonderful service! We had the spicy lamb dish, the arugula feta salad, and fried calamari. Everything was DELICIOUS. They bread they give before the meal is brought is SO good! We’ll be back!
Mezza continues to be my favorite restaurant. Food is always on point, service phenomenal. Love it! Everything I've had on the menu has been great, but my favorite is the seafood campechana.
Enjoyed dinner with friends...drinks were good and food was delicious. The fatoush salad was fresh and crisp . The chicken shish tawook was flavorful and the rice is so good with its saffron topping. We also had the snapper and it was grilled and tasted fresh. I would recommend this recommend this restaurant.
Absolutely wonderful food and service.
I do not understand why there is not a line waiting to get in.
Varied menu and everything we had was outstanding and presented beautifully.
Always enjoy. dining at Mezza Grill. Everything we've tried was delicious.
Food was very good with a nice selection of items for all tastes. Ambiance was fine. We had some lighting issues at our table (strobing light effect ) so we just moved to another table. Our reservations were at 6:30 pm on a Monday. Not many diners there the entire time. A shame because, like I said, the food was really good. Pricing of food was reasonable.
Red Snapper was especially fresh and prepared will. The mixture of flavors was wonderful.
This was our second visit. The menu, here, makes me want to try all of it! We loved the almond baked brie appetizer, the lobster bisque, the Mezza salad, the fish with the shrimp topping. The most outstanding yet were the lamb shank, the Mango chicken, and the "Oh my gosh" tomahawk pork chop.
Great service, too! I have been recommending Mezza Grille, to all my Foodie friends
Came in here Tuesday night for dinner and it was exceptional! I went ahead and ordered the Almond crusted Brie as my appetizer and if you are a cheese lover like I am, you will love it! The jalapeño jelly made this over the top. I ordered the New Zeland Lamb chops and those were just out of this world! The red wine reduction sauce was amazing. My friend ordered the Seafood Risotto and the presentation and flavor was wonderful. Our server Najah was hands on and one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had. Very attentive and was glad to answer any questions we had. She suggested that we try the tiramisu and Creme Brûlée and since we were indulging ourselves, we went ahead and got both and were not disappointed! We also had the jalapeño and cucumber margaritas and it was great for this weather! Will definitely be coming back.
As always, great food and great service. One of our favorite places to dine!
Went with a group of six. Everyone enjoyed it. The food was wonderful and the service was great!
Please see my review for the previous evening, 2/15. We loved this place!
Last night's dinner was unforgettable. My boyfriend and I were very pleased by the quality and the service. We started with the fried calamari which was served with an amazing Mediterranean sauce. For dinner my boyfriend had the spinach goat cheese roll and I ordered the New Zealand lamb chops and I have to say it was by far the best lamb chops I ever had. The red wine reduction on top was heavenly and paired so well with the mash potatoes and grilled veggies. After yesterday's visit this place has become our favorite date night spot.
the occasion was valentines day and the evening was very pleasant. the only problem i had was the slow service at the beginning and a cold vent, but the manager was very helpful and switched our seating.
So I drove an hour here for a Valentine’s Day dinner, hoping to have a memorable night. Being with my boyfriend was memorable but the experience wasn’t a great one and here’s why. 1. When we arrived at 8:27 for our 8:30 reservation, we were told we had to sit at the bar because “we have your table ready but our kitchen is backed up”. That didn’t make since to us but proceeded to sit at the bar. 10 minutes later we were seated, great! However, it took nearly 15 minutes before we were ever greeted by our server. Once the server came, we gave him our order. From there our appetizer, and first course came out just fine. It wasn’t until 10:40 we were told that they were out of the lamb chops. Understandable but why the nearly hour and a half to inform us? Once our entree’s arrived, the mash potatoes were cold, not warm, cold as if it had been sitting out. We expressed our frustration but nothing was done. We left unhappy with our experience on a special night out for us, far disappointing. As a former restaurant general manager and server myself, I understand servers rely on tips so I still tipped 30%, but management should be aware of these short falls.
Went to Mezza for Valentine's Day. They were offering a four course meal and bottle of wine for each couple, $125. I looked at the set menu, decided on possible choices, and booked reservation. We arrived on time, but a table was not yet available. We sat at the bar for a cocktail...$10 each. During dinner, another patron fainted and fire department was parked outside for 30 mins--lights flashing and all. After the appetizer and soups, we were informed that the kitchen sold out of the lamb chops that were ordered. My husband ordered instead the mango stuffed chicken, but at 10:00PM... we still did not have our food. While we thouroughly enjoyed our waitress, we asked for the entrees and dessert to be packed to go. Valentine's Day fell on a weeknight and we had to work the next morning. While waitress gave us a $10 certificate, I'm not sure we'd return. Overall experience was okay, nothing special.
RECENTLY DISCOVERED. HAVE BEEN THERE 3 TIMES SINCE. LOVE IT!
MEZZA GRILLE is and will always be a top choice for me and my partner ! Feb 14,2018 was our last visit it's the second time we spend Valentine's dinner at the restaurant ! that says alot about service and what we expect for that occasion. Top of the line in my eyes ranging from food to service. great restaurant and I have spread word about it. looking forward to more visits.
We did not eat here, because we were seated and sat there for over 15 minutes, and no one gave us water, took any orders, offered a wine menu, or otherwise acknowledged us. We counted at least 3 servers walk by us, serving tables near us, and none even took a second to tell us someone would be right with us. Clearly they didn't tell their coworkers that there was a table that needed a server either. We waited, thinking they were just swamped. It was busy but not THAT busy. So no excuse. We got up and left because we figured our money would be better spent elsewhere. We informed the manager and he seemed sincerely apologetic.
Rated the food as good because I've eaten there once and it was decent. But very poor service.
It was good, but nothing special. The Seafood Campechana appetizer was very good. Generous portion and a lot of shrimp. Plenty to share. The filet mignon was fantastic, but the Prime Ribeye was overcooked and had a chargrilled taste...I probably should have sent it back. Sides were good...mushroom risotto, garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus, and spinach. Again, generous portions and all of the sides were good. Desserts were solid...crème brulee and tiramisu. I would recommend the restaurant, but it was just a solid choice....nothing really great about it.
Had a wonderful time at Mezza Grille, definitely recommend this place. Food, service, and ambience were great.
This was my second visit. I was very impressed on October 22, but maybe I should heed the advice, never go back. Our waitress was inexperienced, our main course arrived before we had finished our appetizer - when I mentioned that we had not finished I was met with a blank stare. The food in October was excellent, this time - very average. I was very disappointed,
Very good food, great service and a good value - this was a first time visit, but will definitely not be the last.
Eggplant dip was excellent as were the skewers
This is a hidden gem. I think all we talked about last night was the restaurant. The food, the lighting, the color scheme, the service, our server Ricardo (ask for him). Nothing not to love.
Expected a more cozy romantic dinner but the lighting is a little bright and not really a date venue. That said a great night had down to the food which is excellent and attentive but not overbearing service.
Would definitely come back for the cuisine
The food was terrific, especially the salmon. They cooked it just to my request. Amazing in a busy place with such a varied menu! I’ll return to try other dishes. Just wish we had this restaurant in my neighborhood.
Service and food quality stays the same with every visit which is reliably good.
This place is amazing! The food is so delicious and the portions are generous! The prices are very reasonable comparative to the quality and amount of food. I have found my new favorite place to eat!
