Always enjoy. dining at Mezza Grill. Everything we've tried was delicious.
Food was very good with a nice selection of items for all tastes. Ambiance was fine. We had some lighting issues at our table (strobing light effect ) so we just moved to another table. Our reservations were at 6:30 pm on a Monday. Not many diners there the entire time. A shame because, like I said, the food was really good. Pricing of food was reasonable.
Red Snapper was especially fresh and prepared will. The mixture of flavors was wonderful.
This was our second visit. The menu, here, makes me want to try all of it! We loved the almond baked brie appetizer, the lobster bisque, the Mezza salad, the fish with the shrimp topping. The most outstanding yet were the lamb shank, the Mango chicken, and the "Oh my gosh" tomahawk pork chop.
Great service, too! I have been recommending Mezza Grille, to all my Foodie friends
Came in here Tuesday night for dinner and it was exceptional! I went ahead and ordered the Almond crusted Brie as my appetizer and if you are a cheese lover like I am, you will love it! The jalapeño jelly made this over the top. I ordered the New Zeland Lamb chops and those were just out of this world! The red wine reduction sauce was amazing. My friend ordered the Seafood Risotto and the presentation and flavor was wonderful. Our server Najah was hands on and one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had. Very attentive and was glad to answer any questions we had. She suggested that we try the tiramisu and Creme Brûlée and since we were indulging ourselves, we went ahead and got both and were not disappointed! We also had the jalapeño and cucumber margaritas and it was great for this weather! Will definitely be coming back.
As always, great food and great service. One of our favorite places to dine!
Went with a group of six. Everyone enjoyed it. The food was wonderful and the service was great!
Please see my review for the previous evening, 2/15. We loved this place!
Last night's dinner was unforgettable. My boyfriend and I were very pleased by the quality and the service. We started with the fried calamari which was served with an amazing Mediterranean sauce. For dinner my boyfriend had the spinach goat cheese roll and I ordered the New Zealand lamb chops and I have to say it was by far the best lamb chops I ever had. The red wine reduction on top was heavenly and paired so well with the mash potatoes and grilled veggies. After yesterday's visit this place has become our favorite date night spot.
the occasion was valentines day and the evening was very pleasant. the only problem i had was the slow service at the beginning and a cold vent, but the manager was very helpful and switched our seating.
So I drove an hour here for a Valentine’s Day dinner, hoping to have a memorable night. Being with my boyfriend was memorable but the experience wasn’t a great one and here’s why. 1. When we arrived at 8:27 for our 8:30 reservation, we were told we had to sit at the bar because “we have your table ready but our kitchen is backed up”. That didn’t make since to us but proceeded to sit at the bar. 10 minutes later we were seated, great! However, it took nearly 15 minutes before we were ever greeted by our server. Once the server came, we gave him our order. From there our appetizer, and first course came out just fine. It wasn’t until 10:40 we were told that they were out of the lamb chops. Understandable but why the nearly hour and a half to inform us? Once our entree’s arrived, the mash potatoes were cold, not warm, cold as if it had been sitting out. We expressed our frustration but nothing was done. We left unhappy with our experience on a special night out for us, far disappointing. As a former restaurant general manager and server myself, I understand servers rely on tips so I still tipped 30%, but management should be aware of these short falls.
Went to Mezza for Valentine's Day. They were offering a four course meal and bottle of wine for each couple, $125. I looked at the set menu, decided on possible choices, and booked reservation. We arrived on time, but a table was not yet available. We sat at the bar for a cocktail...$10 each. During dinner, another patron fainted and fire department was parked outside for 30 mins--lights flashing and all. After the appetizer and soups, we were informed that the kitchen sold out of the lamb chops that were ordered. My husband ordered instead the mango stuffed chicken, but at 10:00PM... we still did not have our food. While we thouroughly enjoyed our waitress, we asked for the entrees and dessert to be packed to go. Valentine's Day fell on a weeknight and we had to work the next morning. While waitress gave us a $10 certificate, I'm not sure we'd return. Overall experience was okay, nothing special.
RECENTLY DISCOVERED. HAVE BEEN THERE 3 TIMES SINCE. LOVE IT!
MEZZA GRILLE is and will always be a top choice for me and my partner ! Feb 14,2018 was our last visit it's the second time we spend Valentine's dinner at the restaurant ! that says alot about service and what we expect for that occasion. Top of the line in my eyes ranging from food to service. great restaurant and I have spread word about it. looking forward to more visits.
We did not eat here, because we were seated and sat there for over 15 minutes, and no one gave us water, took any orders, offered a wine menu, or otherwise acknowledged us. We counted at least 3 servers walk by us, serving tables near us, and none even took a second to tell us someone would be right with us. Clearly they didn't tell their coworkers that there was a table that needed a server either. We waited, thinking they were just swamped. It was busy but not THAT busy. So no excuse. We got up and left because we figured our money would be better spent elsewhere. We informed the manager and he seemed sincerely apologetic.
Rated the food as good because I've eaten there once and it was decent. But very poor service.
It was good, but nothing special. The Seafood Campechana appetizer was very good. Generous portion and a lot of shrimp. Plenty to share. The filet mignon was fantastic, but the Prime Ribeye was overcooked and had a chargrilled taste...I probably should have sent it back. Sides were good...mushroom risotto, garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus, and spinach. Again, generous portions and all of the sides were good. Desserts were solid...crème brulee and tiramisu. I would recommend the restaurant, but it was just a solid choice....nothing really great about it.
Had a wonderful time at Mezza Grille, definitely recommend this place. Food, service, and ambience were great.
This was my second visit. I was very impressed on October 22, but maybe I should heed the advice, never go back. Our waitress was inexperienced, our main course arrived before we had finished our appetizer - when I mentioned that we had not finished I was met with a blank stare. The food in October was excellent, this time - very average. I was very disappointed,
Very good food, great service and a good value - this was a first time visit, but will definitely not be the last.
Eggplant dip was excellent as were the skewers
This is a hidden gem. I think all we talked about last night was the restaurant. The food, the lighting, the color scheme, the service, our server Ricardo (ask for him). Nothing not to love.
Expected a more cozy romantic dinner but the lighting is a little bright and not really a date venue. That said a great night had down to the food which is excellent and attentive but not overbearing service.
Would definitely come back for the cuisine
The food was terrific, especially the salmon. They cooked it just to my request. Amazing in a busy place with such a varied menu! I’ll return to try other dishes. Just wish we had this restaurant in my neighborhood.
Service and food quality stays the same with every visit which is reliably good.
This place is amazing! The food is so delicious and the portions are generous! The prices are very reasonable comparative to the quality and amount of food. I have found my new favorite place to eat!
Excellent lunch and happy hour venue food is awesome and the location is in a very quaint area
Mezza Grille is a phenomenal place with outstanding staff and most importantly AMAZINGLY delicious food. It's a great place for family dinners or a romantic evening out.
Delicious food. Service was a bit shaky.
We had a 8pm reservation and were seated immediately. The hostess told us the kitchen was 20-25 minutes behind. We were not in a hurry, so that wasn’t big deal. I appreciated the heads up on that. We waited several minutes for a server, but eventually the hostess returned and took our drink order. It was 10 minutes before our drinks arrived and we still have not met our server. The hostess served our drinks, so I figured she would be our seever. We wanted to order an appetizer, but the hostess asked us for our entree orders. We ordered at about 5 minutes later, I flagged down the hostess and asked how long it would take for an appetizer. She checked with the kitchen and we got the dish about 10 minutes later. We were pleased with that, but it was awkward. Our meal arrived about 25 minutes after we ordered as promised. The food was good. The issue we had is that our hostess/server did not return to our table. She talked with the customers at another table for at least 15 minute and never checked on our drinks or quality of our food. I had to catch the attention of another server to get drink refills. Their several very large dining parties in the restaurant, so I’m sure that slowed down the kitchen which was not a problem because we were told that. However, the lack of service from the hostess or servers was an issue.
Mezza is a favorite! Staff are wonderful! We eat there weekly and food quality is always wonderful... can’t recommend anywhere that’s better, regardless of price..
We went to Mezza Grille with another couple. Each person ordered something very different off the menu, but all greatly enjoyed their food. The portions were generous, so we took home a doggie bag and enjoyed it again the next day.
We went there before going to a play. They were ready for us and the service was great. The menu is quite varied. We enjoyed our food. The fried calamari tasted very fresh not jus heated up frozen like you get at some places. I had the scalps and it was a very big portion. Definitely recommend it.
This was a good spot for lunch with a variety of menu choices. Everyone's food came out perfect. The only one minor issue was the noise level. It was a little hard to hear once the restaurant filled up.
A Taste of Syria in Texas!
My wife, mother, and I ate Sunday lunch. You can choose from a luncheon menu with cheaper prices and smaller portions or order from the main menu. There were many Syrian dishes but also Tex Mex dishes and pizza!. I started withe the spicy Tortilla soup. Very good. Next I had the marianted Cornish Hen It was divine. Vegetables were excellent also. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Met for a business lunch. The shrimp salad was one of the better ones I have had in a while. My colleague had a lamb dish that was also very tasty. Mezza has a very comfortable feel about it - relaxed without being cheap. The staff were good but a bit too eager at times. I will definitely be back.
Consistently a great place to dine out! You can make a reservation so you're not stuck waiting an hour+ on a busy weekend night. It's always quiet enough that you can enjoy nice conversation with your table. The food is excellent, American with a Mediterranean flare. Highly recommend the Mango Chicken. We have been here on several occasions and really enjoy introducing new people to our great find!!
One of the best places we have eaten at. The chef has done an excellent job with fusion cuisine.
The Cornish hen entree was well prepared and tasted great. It was served on a bed of vegetables that complimented the entree. Generous portions and service was great.
Delicious food! The pecan crusted salmon and risotto was simply delicious! And the snapper and porch chops were enjoyed at our table as well. We will go again!
The menu variety is fantastic. And the presentation of each item we got was visually stunning. Some looked too good to eat!! Will definitely be back to try a few other items that I was having a problem deciding on yesterday.
Great place, great food - I would certainly recommend this place
