    I enjoy going to Mesh. My wife and I were able to be joined with a niece who lives in California and had not seen for a while. It was a very special meal!

    We come here occasionally when in town. This is not the restaurant that I remember. The deviled eggs were very good. We mentioned on the reservation that one guest had a sesame allergy & we told our waiter also, yet our bread came with sesame seeds on some. Our friends liked their entree but my garden salad with added shrimp was over dressed. All meals had spent too much time under the heat lamp ( salad wilted). Also some of my scrimps were partially raw. To her credit, our waiter removed the salad from our bill. Sorry guys, we won’t be back. Much better food overall in Bloomington.

    Our server was exceptional. Attentive and graceful without being overbearing. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. The ambience is very nice except that it was a bit cold - I was glad I had brought an actual jacket rather than a sweater. And I am usually a person who gets too warm not too cool. They had a large party upstairs( we were downstairs ) so maybe that is why the air was on so often. But still we would dine there again.

    What an incredible experience from start to finish! We went on a Saturday night and expected it to be super busy; to our surprise it was not packed at all. All the food was amazing. We enjoyed the bread board to start the evening, and we both agree that it was delicious. All the breads worked well with all the dips. I enjoyed a Lagunitas IPNA, which was refreshing. For entrees, I enjoyed a cup of the lobster bisque soup. It was much sweeter than I was expecting, but the flavors were great. I got the New York Strip with haricots verts (asparagus) and robuchon (mashed potatoes), and it was divine all-around. The steak was juicy with the perfect amount of seasoning, and the sides were packed with flavor. My mom had the filet mignon, which she enjoyed a lot. We ended the night with desert. I had the bread pudding, which was incredible. It had a great amount of flavor, and I like the hot and cold elements colliding well with each other. My mom had the Oregon dark cherry ice cream, and she loved it. Our server, Lauren, was awesome! She was super busy with plenty of tables but still made time to be attentive to us. While Lauren was at the table to our left, she overheard my mom mention a nut allergy and asking me if there was any nuts in the bread pudding. Lauren let us know immediately that there was nuts in the bread pudding. The atmosphere was also nice. It wasn’t too fancy to make us feel out-of-place, but fancy enough to be better than most sit-down restaurants. The bathrooms were clean, and the restaurant overall felt very clean and put-together. We will be back in the future - definitely a wonderful time and a must-try for anyone looking for a high-scale dining experience!

    I went here for a Sunday morning brunch. There was a good variety of of brunch items on the menu. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good brunch.

    Last night we were seated at 8:06pm. We had a reservation and the restaurant was not very busy-I would almost say it was kind of dead in the area we were sitting in. Finally, at 8:23 I went up to the hostess stand to let them know that no one had come to our table and that we hadn’t even been acknowledged by anyone. Meanwhile, as we were sitting and being ignored, multiple servers had passed us by (including the one who was supposed to be ours) and I watched what I assume was a manager, ask other tables how things were going. After the hostess said she would address it (she was mortified,) a server came to us a few minutes later and apologized and said she would be helping us. She told us that it was the other servers “second night working there and he was really busy.” Meanwhile, said manager who was hanging out in an area which I assume was the entrance to the kitchen, still never came over to say anything to us. The server helping out was very nice and I have no complaints about her. However, our original server just stared at us as he went by a few times during our meal and then when we left, the manager was at the hostess stand and looked down as we were walking out. He mumbled “have a good evening” under his breath while we walked out. The food was decent, but not good enough to go back. The ambiance is nice, but definitely didn’t make up for anything. Other than the hostess and the server who actually helped us, the service is garbage. I do not recommend this restaurant, it’s more hassle than it’s worth.

    Something must’ve been off today. The restaurant wasn’t that full but the service was poor. It took a long time for our waiter to take our food/drink order. Everything took forever to come out and were never offered an explanation other than they were backed up. Again, the restaurant wasn’t packed at all so by the time our drinks came out we were almost done with our meal. The meatloaf was also dry and we weren’t given the right utensils to eat our food. The fruit flies were also everywhere and kept landing on our plates and drinks. The waiter did apologize but at that point we were done for the night. Kinda surprised this happened since we really like this restaurant but won’t be back for a while after that. hopefully they can figure things out.

    We had such a lovely evening at Mesh hosting our New York family on the last day of Devour Indy. Every part of the meal from the calamari to the bread, the amazing packed full of flavor lobster bisque, the short rib meatloaf, and the delicious crème brûlée was perfect. Their sommelier was accommodating & very attentive. if dining was an Olympic sport this restaurant would get the gold medal!
