    Yet another “highlight” on our vacation and no less on Mother’s Day. Food is exceptional…such an original menu the way each plate is prepared. My hubby had swordfish with macadamia nuts - sauce was even yummy. Whereas, I enjoyed ono in a phyllo crust and homegrown chard. My salad was special…beautifully ripened tomatoes with crispy capers. Wine list by the glass has something for everyone and I so enjoyed the pre meal drinks. Best part was Howard, our waiter, whom we have known for at least 10+ yrs and left waikaloa golf for Merrimans. Truly a special treat. If I could ask for anything, wish guests could read the website and dress accordingly…. Give this place the respect so well deserved.

    One of the best meals I’ve ever had!! Everything was perfect! I will go again anytime I’m on the Big Island. Highly recommend Merriman’s!! Delicious food~beautifully presented. And the Mai Tai’s are out of this world!!
