An amazing experience, outstanding food and service
Excellent. Never disappointing. Anthony was great!
Our first visit and won’t be our last. Very friendly welcome & attentive server. Our food was delicious. Tomato soup & pureed smoked corn soup. Both tasty.
Hubby had the pork shank. It was enormous & delicious. I had the chicken masala, spice was perfect.
We had no space for desserts. Enjoyed a glass of Malbec. Loved the warm interior & great ambience.
Service was great & the Osso Bucco was the best that I have ever had.
Just living up to its reputation. Never varies. Food offerings are always a notch above and a pleasant surprise.
Service was very slow today. My meal was very good, but one of my guests was a vegan and there weren't many options for her. She ended up eating a bowl of potato chips. I felt badly.
Special place and wonderful food. Hadn’t been there in a few years, but will be back soon.
The food was exceptional, especially the desserts. Service was great and the ambience on the porch was lovely.
Nice July night so we sat outside and had a very casual and non rushed dinner. Waiter suggested a really nice Pinot Noir we had not had before and the Wagu tartar was amazing. The scallops and the summer salads with the usual creativity were excellent as well. Once again The Meridian did not disappoint and we left asking we don’t we come here more often?
All of the food was delicious. They need to rename the wedge salad. It's not a wedge. And it's much smaller than a standard wedge salad.
The fried oysters are my go-to appetizer, with just the right amount of batter to ensure the flavor of the oyster remains dominant. Wasn’t crazy about the tang of wedge salad dressing; loved the lamb lollipop, cooked just right with a tinge of red in a mild barbecue style marinade.
A burger for $24 is way too expensive. No one at our table for 4 enjoyed our food. The only thing we liked was our beet salad. Waiter was helpful but still brought the wrong food to one guest.
The waiters were outstanding and very informative and friendly. The food presentation was spectacular and unique: squash blossoms stuffed! Amazing!
I really like the friendly and rich dark wood ambience without the stuffy feeling. It’s a great restaurant that keeps advancing its menu. I’d put it up there with the top downtown restaurants in Indy if not even better
Really love this place. Always a nice experience !
Very warm and friendly welcome and our server, Christian, was very attentive and helpful with questions about the menu. Service was excellent.
Slow service, strange waiter, small portions. Great ambiance but I wouldn’t go back.
Quiet and nice neighborhood restaurant. Easy drive and parking for downtowners. Decent and friendly atmosphere with great service. Entree dish Duck Breast is wonderful and delicious.
Whole group really enjoyed drinks from the bar, inventive dinner entrees and charcuterie
Meridian always impresses. The atmosphere, outstanding service, fantastic tasting food, and excellent craft cocktails make this a great spot for a night out. We will definitely be back.
We sat outside on the patio. Food was excellent and so was the service. Can't wait to go back.
The Meridian I remember and love doesn’t exist anymore. The last two time we have eaten there our food was mediocre and the service not what it once was.
Very comfortable, cozy and quiet. Food was very good also!
Went with hubby for anniversary dinner. The food and service was top notch. Everything the purchase is local which was a big selling point for us. Prices were fair for the amount and quality of food. We would definitely go there again!
A very enjoyable evening as always. An interesting menu with nice wines and peaceful atmosphere. Good service and very tasty food not over salted.
$37 lamb chops were tough and poorly trimmed
Told the server we were very disappointed in them
This and the last meal were very disappointing. Won’t go back.
Meeting up with family.
Our server took her time with us and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Excellent food and the timing of the course was perfect.
The Meridian is a fantastic restaurant that never fails to deliver the finest cuisine in Indianapolis.
Food was as good as usual and that is very good. Perfect place for lunch.
Great night outside on the deck with good friend.
3 met for dinner May 1, 2018, and enjoyed our mealtime on the outdoor patio. Unfortunately the quality of the food matched neither the environment nor expectations. What's happened at Meridian? I began with a cocktail which set a positive tone. Then we shared Nori Asparagus appetizer which, though attractive, lacked any flavor. Bland. My pricey Spring Chicken was good but I would prefer more green peas and less chickpea. Each of us ordered desserts. No raves there. My biscuit with rhubarb and strawberries was dry and generally unattractive. Because I love the atmosphere at Meridian, I may forget this unfortunate experience and try again. If so and if the situation has changed, I will write another review.
Our server Will was outstanding and the main man Joe checked in frequently. Eat here all the time but Tue eve was terrific!
Exceptional throughout, obviously pricey but expected.
Dined here for 10th anniversary. Service was attentive. Realized immediately it was prom season and felt underdressed in biz casual by comparison. Nori-wrapped asparagus appetizer was delectable and smoked corn purée was smooth with just the right balance of bacon. I was mildly disappointed with the prime strip. The strip seasoning was good but ordinary while the asparagus (yes, more) held all the flavor. My wife had the Brussel salad and black bean acara and we agreed the Nori-wrapped asparagus was the highlight for us. Went elsewhere for dessert for unrelated reasons. Would try again.
Service was fantastic. Food was very good. Corn purée and donuts were the best.
I met two business colleagues there and as usual the food was very good. Love the setting. The salmon is some of the best in the city. All of us enjoyed the meal.
A go to choice for a romantic meal for years. Great seasonal menu; prompt, knowledgeable service; and lovely ambiance.
