It was a great experience and enjoyed our buffet which had a variety of foods on Easter. The downside was the price. Almost $50 for a buffet is outrageous and I’ve had plenty of fine dining experiences. The service and atmosphere was fabulous though.
Wonderful Easter Sunday buffet, but they did not offer any vegetarian options that were gluten free. It was difficult to find things to accommodate my daughter’s celiac... They have offered GF pasta and waffles in the past (so we expected that it hadn’t changed), and with the brunch costing as much as it does, it would havd been nice to offer things that would give options to people with dietary restrictions - especially on Easter. She could only eat fruit, rice, and veggies. Otherwise, it’s an amazing buffet in a charming atmosphere. My son thinks the creme brûlée’s French toast is the best thing he has ever eaten!
Easter brunch was delicious and the service was wonderful! Love Mere Bulles!
Excellent food and many, many choices at the buffet. Excellent service- both at each station of the buffet and at our table.
Super friendly staff. Our table was ready on time per our reservation. Delicious french toast!
Best Easter brunch in the Nashville area. We come every year!
Great service. Good portions. Some of our dishes were outstanding some of them were good.
Was disappointed in the service tremendously! Probably the ditziest server that didn't know her menu, could not explain cocktails or how items were garnished. Food was good, very heavy but still unique flavors. Our appetizer took 40 minutes she blamed it on the kitchen and parties they had but it was bacon jam toast. They did have two parties but put them in the general dining area so it was extremely loud. All in all, one experience there is probably all I need.
Love this place. Great food. Service is always outstanding. Half price wine makes it perfect.
I ordered my tenderloin medium rare and it came out medium. The borccolini was tough, hard to cut. The carrot cake dessert was very bland. Not at all what I expected from a top-rated restaurant. I was very disappointed and will likely not return.
Our server, Elise was a lovely part of our experience - bright, knowledgable, friendly, but not overly so. Knew her menus and steered us in the right direction, according to our tastes.
We had a great visit
Amazing food and service!!!! We will be back. Already bragged to friends about that.
Food was great
Mere Bulles was out of our way but was the dining highlight of our week-long visit to Nashville. We were greeted warmly; the server, Vernon ("V man") was excellent. We enjoyed a bottle of wine at half-price (how refreshing!). We enjoyed the "specials of the day" because we KNOW we'll return to enjoy the regular menu items. What a delightful evening, don't miss Mere Bulles!
My wife and I were just looking for a restaurant during a weekend trip to the area and this looked really good. We are so glad we went. The building is very manor-like, the food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. We will definitely return when we are in the area. Give it a try! You will be glad you did.
Mere Bulles is always one of my favorite places to go for a steak! Always good food and the servers are very attentive. My drink was never empty! I also like to get the creme brulee sampler for dessert. However, the top wasn't caramelized this time. That omission definitely compromised the taste.
Best restaurant I've visited all year. Food was wonderful, the service outstanding and the price fair. What more could you want!
Great wait staff and the food was superb. Best she- crab soup ever! The atmosphere/ambience was perfect. If I lived in the area this restaurant would be my “go to”.
Always a very good experience with a business lunch-patio was lovely.
Jessica Hancock is a fantastic ambassador for Mere Bulles. The food is always outstanding and service is as well.
The food is always superb and the environment is lovely.
Brunch is always amazing!
Sunday brunch is buffet style with a nice variety of breakfast, lunch and dessert options. Would give 5 star, but felt cost was a bit high and seating area loud. Otherwise food and service were very good.
Food was delicious and our waiter Juan was excellent.
Loved our dinner with Vernon. We have lived in the area for a year and just made it happen to have date night at Mere Bulles this past weekend! The whole experience was one we will be talking about for a long time! We can’t wait to come back for more half price wine and crab bisque!!
We arrived at 6:45pm by reservation and had patio seating. The atmosphere there was beautiful and lively, but quiet enough for a good experience. The waitress was very interactive and informative. In regards to the meal, I had the she-crab bisque and seared plum salmon. My date had the bisque along with the shrimp and grits. Both courses were spectacular and presented wonderfully. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others, and I'll be sure to come here again.
NY Strip and Ribeye. Bruschetta very good. Beef ordered medium rare but it was cooked past that. Less flavorful than expected regardless. Was okay but have had better beef multiple times. Good service. Wine prices favorable. Good amarone.
Have been there 4-5 times. The food was good (not great) and presentation was OK but it’s not what I would call upscale or great quality by any means. A nice southern fare located in a commercial neighborhood.
The Waitress recommended the Lemon crusted chicken and it was heavenly! It was served with mashed potatoes and asparagus, topped with some special sauce! Love everything about this experience and will be dining again soon.
We were 3 ladies going for lunch; one was partially blind and two were hard of hearing. I asked for a quiet place - we were seated in the charming front room on the right. However, the men seated at two different tables had strong voices. We still enjoyed ourselves. The Chicken Totillia Soup was not good and the lady did not eat it; she was not charged; was told there had been other complaints. We have eaten that soup at GHG and it's delicious.
We had an EXCELLENT waiter (Robert B #241) - so nice, patient, solicitous in every way.
My husband and I eat at GHG on Friday nights - love GHG and Steve S.
Thanks...we will be back.
The restaurant was a little too warm but it is always a great venue, great people, great food.
We were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance of the restaurant upon arrival, but were disappointed by the hostess prioritizing a caller over her on-site guests. The server was competent, thought a bit odd with his accent impersonations. Most importantly, our food was delayed, lukewarm at best, and no better than a chain restaurant. We were tremendously disappointed by the experience, especially for the price!
I ordered the special and a small salad. The special was $45 and the salad was $9. I thought this was a little over priced.
Elegant. If you want to have a good meal and be
able to talk too, this is the place to go.
Waited 20 minutes- with a reservation. Food stations not marked well.
The service, food and environment were great! It is a little pricey, but overall it was great!
Wonderful place for family Sunday brunch. We’ll definitely go again soon!
We had relatives visiting from Georgia who wanted to have brunch with us at a restaurant that was different from what they had in their home town. They were very impressed with Mere Bulles and thought the food and service was excellent.
