Great meal. Great experience.
Mere Bulles always and I mean always impresses me with the best service in Nashville along with the best food. While it is known for aged beef steaks that were served to some in our party, I had the herb crusted salmon served on a bed of spinach. We started off with Thai calamari and fried artichoke hearts and then ate the best entrees in town. One of my pet peeves is for the timing of the service to be off to be served the entree while the salad is being consumed and this never happens at Mere Bulles. Thanks for the best dining experience you could want.
Vernon is awesome. The service was great. It started raining and we were on the patio. The transition to move us inside went smoothly.
Service and food were both excellent. Scallops with shrimp risotto was delicious!!
Nice menu selection for up scale restaurant, where too often the menus are small. Service was great. Elegant atmosphere.
Exceptional dining experience. Great food and service. Also, large portions and value is really good too!
Mere Bulles never disappoints - always offers great food and service.
Wonderful as usual! I always enjoy taking clients there!
Sat outside which turned out to be a really lovely evening. Ordered a cocktail that I was not overly fond of and it was promptly replaced. Waiter was very good! The shrimp and grits were very good!
Our reservation was for 6 pm which was the last for the day. Being the end of Mother's day,the buffet left a little to be desired. I specifically mentioned that it was our 30th anniversary and very special to us. However nothing was done by them to acknowledge it. I ordered a beer with the meal and never got it. We have celebrated our anniversary there for several years and were always very pleased.
Not so much this time.
A pretty good buffet for Mother’s Day. Needed to keep up with plates and silverware better.
My favorite restaurant!
Delicious food, delightful wait staff - well worth the drive from Clarksville for Mothers’ Day.
The Mother’s Day buffet was amazing. We had a great time!
As always great experience! Very good food and very outstanding service
Mother’s Day Brunch is a family affair at Mere Bulles. After moving here 2 years ago we tried twice to attend the Mother’s Day Brunch unsuccessfully. This time both my wife & myself made reservations well in advance. The past two years we had brunch at two other establishments. This year we finally got into Mere Bulles. After eating there for our anniversary dinner last year we were expecting the same. Sadly, this brunch was about equal with the ones we attended before but at twice the price.
Love Mere Bulles but for lunch or dinner - not doing brunch again. They double the price because of Mother’s Day but the fare is good to above average - not outstanding like their dinners are!
This is a nice restaurant but not a destination. A bit dated in decor and table dressing. Took my Mom for Mother’s Day. Place was packed so very loud and lots of kids running wild at the buffet. Good food but not a great value unless you are going to go back 2 or 2 times. Normal Sunday prices are jacked up from $28 to $45. Supposedly it is due to the smoked salmon and prime rib carving station. If you don’t eat either of those it is not such a good deal.
They pick up dirty plates but have to be asked to get you fresh utensils. They try and get you to “keep yours”. Blech!
It’s a pretty quick turnover but they didn’t really rush us or push us to leave. White table clothes would really dress it up. Maybe a “family” section too so that all kids could enjoy dining together.
We enjoyed a delicious Mother's Day Brunch at Mere Bulles. We ate outside, which provided a quieter atmosphere than the inside dining rooms. The food was delicious, although the brunch is on the expensive side. Definitely a good option for a special occasion.
The food was good, but very pricey. Service was OK we had to ask for everything.
12th year for Mother’s Day brunch. I would say this is the first time we were rushed to turn the table. We were early dining 9:45 to accommodate family who had a long drive home. Know we were just ahead of the big rush after church and the wait staff was polite but, it was obvious. Terrific food as always.
WARNING, for Regulars....Mere Bulles changed their menu last Wednesday and has eliminated the ability to order some of our favorites like Rib Rolls and Blue Cheese chips at dinner. Big Mistake....it will definitely change our choice for Friday night dinner. We saw a couple get up and leave because of the new menu, we should have followed suit.
Delicious food in a quiet atmosphere with my sweet husband, for Mother's Day.
We like Mere Bulles. Great location and ambiance. They just went to new menus and we missed the history of the Maryland farms that are not on the new menus. There are also less selections.
On Open Table it is listed as $, it is more like $$.
Wonderful. She crab bisque is a must!
Always a favorite for Birthday lunch or dinner!
Absolutely wonderful! Will be back again and again.
Great place for Sunday brunch. Food very good, always fresh. We have been here several times and the staff are always very attentive.
good meal, nice ambiance food was good, cost slightly more on the high end but was tasty and well presented
I have eaten here many times and usually have amazing service. Having worked as a server, it appears she was overwhelmed. Right after we were seated, she was immediately seated with 2 other tables. When we placed our cocktail order, she asked to go ahead and take our entire order and said it obviously wouldn't come out at once. We received soup prior to receiving our cocktails, never received bread, and felt rushed each time she came by. When she greeted us, she shared that she had lost 25 pounds by avoiding carbs and gave us suggestions. I felt that to be inappropriate. The soup and calamari were outstanding, but our entrees were mediocre. My lamb was overcooked and fatty, but it was my choice to eat as is instead of sending back. The presentation was very sloppy on the lamb dish. The mint jelly was on the plate vs. on the side as it should be. The scallop dish was also sloppy and both plates had a mound of risotto. This was my first visit on a weekend as I am usually there during the week for dinner and have always had an awesome experience. On a high note, the specialty cocktails were great and the ambiance was as pleasurable as always. I hope this was just an off night and/or maybe you were shorthanded.
Pleasant Dinner location for Special Occasion Anniversary meal!
Lovely atmosphere. We dined outdoors and it was lovely. The waitstaff was very attentive and the food DELICIOUS! The wine list is excellent and we discovered that wines by the bottle were 1/2 price!!
This was a wonderful find. Food was great atmosphere superb. Our waiter was super nice as well the staff. One of the best restaurants I have been to
My wife and I had a perfect anniversary dinner at Mere Bulles on the beautiful patio in perfect weather. The redfish and the shrimp cocktail were incredible.
Very good food with excellent service and pleasant atmosphere
We went there for my father's 78 birthday as always it was a fantastic brunch. Best experience ever, my wife loves the mimosas.
Their Sunday Brunch is always exceptional. Everything on the brunch menu is always very good and the She-Crab Bisque is excellent.
It was amazing. They were very busy but we still had great food and service. One of the best meals and experiences we have had in a very long time. It was refreshing and just great!
We were in town for a horse show and wanted a nice meal. Mere Bulles had great reviews and times available. But there was a marathon bringing loads of people to town and looking cal proms bringing unexpectedly high numbers of patrons, so upon arrival, we also found that they were running quite behind. The staff was friendly and we were seated about 30 minutes after our reservation. Vernon, our server was charming and attentive but the actual production of the meal was painfully slow. The appetizers arrived fairly soon but the main course was very slow to arrive. Even though we didn't complain, the manager visited us and comped our meal for 4. Vernon set us up with several of their best deserts to go. The team, including the owner, were gracious and apologetic. They were overwhelmed but owned it and made up for it. We will definitely give Mere Bulles another shot!
Very nice restaurant- upscale! Nice setting for a special meal or date night. Food was good; however, the kitchen was having issues. After ordering, it took about 1 hour to get our appetizers. Then the waiter told us when we were ready to order our entrees that if we waited about 20 mins to order
(at this time, we'd been there for close to 2 hours)
that our food would come out quicker because the kitchen wouldn't be so backed up. You don't expect this kind of snafu when you're paying over $300 for dinner for 4.
The restaurant ended up comping our appetizers but it didn't come close to making up for the pitifully slow and
unacceptable service! We were at the restaurant for 3 1/2 hours.
