Absolutely 5 stars all the way. Excellent service, food, and points of service. We are in town. For TCU Parents Weekend and grateful to be able to get a reservation. Honestly the best steak we have ever had. Thank you for a great dinner!

We were gifted a meal at this establishment by family. We were treated like royalty the entire time! Words cannot adequately describe the delicious food and drinks! We cannot wait to return. A lovely vocalist, accompanying herself on piano, added to the ambiance. Very lovely evening.

Restaurant was nearly empty but service was terrible. Calamari undercooked. Ordered ribeye for me and wife had filet. Ribeye had odor to it. Tasted terrible. Waiter took it back and said meat was bad. Very lucky I didn’t get sick. Terrible experience. Place has really gone down hill Way overpriced.

We are long time customers of the Mecury Chop household. We went there this time to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were a half hour early and since there was seating available, we were seated right away. Charming and friendly greeters, servers, and other staff members. Excellent service. A good selection of food choices. Outstanding flavors. An okay selection of wine. Quiet atmosphere to accommodate a quiet conversation. Boomers will like the background music (I'm one too). We'll be back soon!

Great family-owned steakhouse in downtown Fort Worth. Owner greeted us at the door and the friendly and professional service continued all evening. After an excellent Martini at the bar, we were seated at our table and enjoyed a leisurely dinner accompanied by low key live music to set the mood. The food was delicious (Center cut pork chops were a standout gem). Highly recommend supporting this establishment.

Mercury Chophouse has an excellent staff that create and serve dishes that are exceptional. Between the two of us we enjoyed the caprese salad and the Caesar salad. We both ordered the peppercorn filet mignon with mashed potatoes and shared an order of asparagus. The steak was perfectly cooked and was very tender. We wrapped it all up by finishing with the chocolate lava cake which was far from ordinary. Everything was delicious and the service from Mike and the staff was unparalleled. We were well attended to, but no one hovered. This was our 2nd visit here and we look forward to going back on another special occasion.

Great place!!! The food was delicious! We started with the calamari which was amazing. My husband had the filet and I had the salmon. Both were cooked to perfection. Our cocktails were impressive. The service was wonderful!! Everything was on point!! This was our first time and we will be back!!!

The waitstaff was great. The food, however was not. We were told our medallions would come out medium rare. They came out well done. They remade them. They were past well done the second time. The ribeye was undercooked, it went back to the kitchen and came back over cooked. It felt more like a chain steakhouse than a true steakhouse. The waiters brought us a complimentary dessert—it was the best part of the meal. We spent 420 on dinner and left vey disappointed.

The cocktail my girlfriend ordered was terrible. Both of our steak tasted terrible also. Her NY strip came with a sauce that was very mustard based and not good at all. It also came out well done and she ordered medium rare. They brought out another steak for her that was no better but the server tried to tell us it was the “lighting” making the steak look bad. My filet mignon was cooked properly but lacked taste and I couldn’t finish it. We ended up having to go to another restaurant to eat dinner. 0/10 would not go back.

Went early trying to avoid crowd; it worked. However it seemed that restaurant was still readying for the night. Would have been nice for some light music playing for ambience. Our food was good, but overheard specials given to another table and they were not the same. One of the specials would have been chosen if given the option. All in all good meal.

Birthday celebration for my wife but it was never acknowledged. Was seated promptly upon arrival at an end table…I immediately noticed what looked like salt and pepper on the white tablecloth on my side of the table…possibly from the previous guest? I quickly brushed it away to not alarm my wife, because I really wanted everything to be perfect for her. The servers were very fast and efficient, so very pleased. The food was just average though…my wife ordered the Crackling Chicken and I ordered the 10oz filet…the portions were a bit smaller than expected and flavor was just a bit lacking. Hoping that a nice dessert would help the experience, we ordered the bread pudding…not a good choice…small portion of bread pudding and very small dollop of ice cream…the texture of the bread pudding was dense and spongy, kind of odd (we’ve had bread pudding many, many times at other restaurants to compare to). Overall the food was underwhelming unfortunately…no complaints with the service. Probably won’t be back.
