Maximo Bistrot is an intimate restaurant in the Roma area that provides guests with Mexican, French and European cuisine. The cozy dining room features dim lighting along with a combination of table and booth seating and large beautiful windows. Maximo Bistrot also provides customers the option of dining indoors or outside on the beautiful street side patio.

The menu offers provide a wide array of options. Menu items include lobster pasta with calamari ink, asparagus with poached egg and hollandaise sauce, ceviche with stone crab and octopus ceviche. There is also a complete bar menu.

We had the tasting menu which was a great value and showed off the talented kitchen.
Very inspired precise cooking showing off Mexican specialties as well as international standards. Beautiful plating.

Wine list needs work. Not many interesting choices and no real well priced wines and I did not like getting seated in the “tourist, all American” section but I understand.

It was one of the best meals of our week in Mexico City. Will come back

My boyfriend and I were in Mexico City for my birthday and decided upon Maximo Bistrot for my birthday dinner. We ordered the tasting menu paired with wine and each course was fantastic. Highly recommended!

U N B E L I E A B L E! Lalo is a master. Really unbelievably complex yet simple food. Well, not simple, just artfully presented flavor combinations that are rich, work together and compose a satisfying meal.

Fue una experiencia muy buena, la calidad de los alimentos y atención de los meseros en todo momento, mi esposo y yo optamos por el menú de degustación y tanto los alimentos como el vino recomendado para cada uno de los platillos fue de mi agrado, pudimos Ver al chef y que fortuna contar con tan bien restaurante en Ciudad de México. Mi única recomendación sería ya sea contar con servicio de valet parking o hacer una negocioacion con el estacionamiento cercano para clientes que visitan Maximo Bistrot

This has been one of my favorite restaurants in Mexico City for a while. Unfortunately, the services is not as good as it used to be and the prices keep climbing as they become more known in the foodie scene.

Service and food was all excellent. Menus in English but the servers do not speak very much English. Suggest you try some of the Mexican red wine at the 1000 peso level, excellent!

Loved this place! Small comfy house like environment with friendly waiters, great food at very reasonable prices. I would highly recommend the flower blossoms to start!

Excelled food ruined by the worst service I've ever experienced at an upscale restaurant. They sat us outside in the cold and rainy night despite reserving months in advance. They did not turn on the heaters despite multiple requests from us and other tables to do so. They never once asked us if everything if okay, if we need anything else – standard waiter etiquette even in cheap restaurants –, so we had to pull them aside anytime we needed anything. We often had to ask twice even for water refills. Despite the food being so delicious, we left early and still hungry because we were so uncomfortable and cold and just felt ignored by the staff. What a shame.

Sabíamos por críticas que era un buen restaurante pero no teníamos idea de la gran sorpresa que nos llevaríamos. Probamos unos camarones en jugo con zanahoria deliciosos, un atún exquisito y de siguiente entrada un ceviche lo demás fenomenal. De Segundo pedimos espagueti con una crema al limón y caviar que no demérito en nada. Continuamos con un pollo rostizado que sí bien no fue malo no fue nada del otro mundo y comparado con las entradas fue muy insulso, seguimos con un Rib eye de Wayu en su punto y rico y rematamos con la cereza del pastel de postre: un pan dances con compota de de frutos rojos que fue sublime. Muy buena atención. Sin duda un nuevo favorito.

Excelente comida y bebidas, solo que la atención de los meseros deja mucho que desear, sobre todo el capitán de meseros. Cuando les preguntas algo te responden de muy mala manera. De nada sirve que hagas una reservación con semanas de anticipación para que de todas formas te dejen esperando, incluso me cambiaron de mesa porque me estaban dando una en la parte de afuera cuando claramente les dije desde la reservación inicial que quería mesa en la sección de adentro

El sitio me desilusionó, es sencillo, pero los precios son elevadísimos, no los vale. 1700 pesos pp, para lo que comimos, no merece la pena.

Our meal at Maximo Bistro was fabulous. The food was creative without been over the top; the the flavor combinations were well thought out so that the ingredients complimented and enhanced each other very well. The wine pairings with each course were perfect, each wine highlighting the food. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recomment

Disappointing. We had better, more creative meals for less money at less-acclaimed restaurants in Mexico City. The menu was limited and they were already out of duck (my favorite) at the beginning of the evening, which should not happen at a restaurant that features a daily menu. Everything was well prepared but the only standout was dessert. And service was odd- each entree brought separately so one of us had to wait for the other’s food/drink to arrive. Meh.

Great service and food at Maximo! The lunch crowd was quiet, but enjoyable with very attending staff. Each dish and cocktail was made with great care and served with clarification. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal.
