Maximo Bistrot is an intimate restaurant in the Roma area that provides guests with Mexican, French and European cuisine. The cozy dining room features dim lighting along with a combination of table and booth seating and large beautiful windows. Maximo Bistrot also provides customers the option of dining indoors or outside on the beautiful street side patio.

The menu offers provide a wide array of options. Menu items include lobster pasta with calamari ink, asparagus with poached egg and hollandaise sauce, ceviche with stone crab and octopus ceviche. There is also a complete bar menu.

Nothing outstanding and prices really high. Not sure why this restaurant is consistently ranked among best but its offer is not as good as its fame and prices would suggest. I will only come back for a business meal which my company pays for.

We arrived but we only offered seating outside. The tables were so close everyone hears your conversation. For cocktails appetizers and main course, one of us was served 5 minutes before the other. When asked to take my husband main course away until mine was ready, it was simply left there and my main course brought several minutes later while I was still eating my appetizer. The food was delicious but this is not an inexpensive restaurant and service should be at the level of the food. Dinner was very rushed.

Wonderful and delicious food! Reasonably prices. My only note is that the food is not very mexican. It tastes like very delicious new american.

Amazing restaurant. My husband who is vegan said it was one of the best tasting menus he’d ever had. They made everything especially for him, didn’t take existing dishes and remove ingredients. If we lived in Mexico City this would be our to go to restaurant. I though service was very good, waiters warmed up through service, but grapest care and attention throughout

This was our third time at Máximo Bistrot. I had a reservation that I made weeks ago but when e arrived we were not pleased with the table. It was outside. If it was a beautiful evening I would have no problem but it was chilly so they had a tent covering outside which was less than attractive. They said it would be a wait to get another table. So we went to the bar and had a drink. One hour later we were seated inside. The inside is lovely and inviting. The food was very good but usually it is amazing.
We were just slightly disappointed.
I still recommend this restaurant as we have had such amazing meals in the past. I would go again. Every restaurant can have a day that’s not amazing.

Excellent cuisine, kind of informal ambience which makes you feel very comfortable. Very good wines and cocktails. The chef Eduardo García is one of a kind. I really enjoyed eating there.

This was a repeat visit for us, and we looked forward to it since our previous visit. While nothing on the menu jumps out as Mexican, this place makes great use of locally-sourced ingredients, especially the fantastic produce in the region.

La comida es muy buena, no recomiendo el Menú degustación porque no sabes qué te pondrán en el plato, el chef lo decide en el momento. Creo que sale más rentable, por el tamaño de las porciones y el precio, pedir a la carta platillos para compartir. Es muy incomodo para las cenas porque dentro casi no hay luz, solo hay una vela por mesa y un par de focos en el techo. Es una pena, porque los platillos son muy bonitos además de ricos... y en realidad es un poco lúgubre. Sería buenísimo que pusieran mantel, no es muy agradable posar los cubiertos sobre la mesa de madera.
Lo recomiendo por la comida pero no por el servicio ni por el restaurante en sí

I arrived on time. The restaurant was not ready for guests.
My greeting was distracted and indifferent.
I had to ask for a menu -- after ten minutes at my table.
I had a drink order taken at that time.
I was ignored for the rest of my visit until I decided to leave.

We went for lunch and the food was beyond delicious and the service was lovely. The eggplant dip and bread that comes with your meal is to die for - we got two! Amazing!

Lunch was delicious and just what we wanted on a lovely day. The presentation was beautiful. Portions are small but that suits us. We like to taste, rather than fill up on our meals. Both the roast suckling pig and lamb with morel mushrooms in cream were delicious, perfectly prepared with a golden skin on the pork and pink lamb slices. The lime pie was a deconstructed version, layers of custard topped by meringue and sprinkled with a 'crust' of pastry crumbs, not too sweet and standing tall in the dish. Excellent tempranillo from Valle de Guadalupe.
We had a nice street-side table instead of one in the noisy interior. But our conversation kept being drowned out by mariachi groups that kept cruising past. Only one table give a tip, while the rest let the musicians pass.

This restaurant is fantastic. All the food was top notch and the cocktails were excellent. I ate at a lot of the top restaurants in Mexico City and I think this is probably a top 5 experience. I did not do the tasting menu but I could see that being even better.

Probamos alrededor de 6 platillos. Entre entradas y platos fuertes.
El único tema que les faltaría mejorar, es el servicio.
Toman muchísimo tiempo en atenderte, en traer las bebidas, y entre un plato y otro.
Quizá también añadiría que las presentaciones son muy muy pequeñas, que en este caso, sí caen en lo pretencioso.
Sin embargo el sabor muy bueno
