The Sunday Brunch has a good selection. The staff makes sure the buffet is always refilled. Very nice selection for children. Staff is very friendly.

We had a great dinner like always. I love the Bavarian Pretzel Bites and the Ahi Tuna Flatbread. The service was great! She came by maybe even too often..lol. The appetizer came out within a few minutes and dinner was served as soon as we ate the last bite of pretzels. I don't care too much for the 2 seater tables, but it was still ok and good for people watching :)

We had reservation, however, we were seated 20 minutes past the time reserved. I had to go find a waiter for water/coffee. After another 15, I had to hunt her down again to ask for a menu. I was told they only served buffet on Sunday until 2:30. I wish we were told that upon arrival. We then asked for our check as we wanted lunch and of course, we waited again. So, I brought my guests from DC to see our wonderful city and gave them a terrible experience. No apology, no thank you, just horrible service and no food. We were very disappointed as we had heard good reviews. Perhaps someone was just having a bad day.

Always a good meal. It is our go to restaurant. It’s close to our neighborhood and the menu fits all.

Had a post-Thanksgiving get-together with family...awesome experience. They had our reservation ready...the food was great...I was surprised at how good the eggs Benedict were coming off a buffet line--terrific!

We met for a get-together after a year apart and it was so loud that it was very difficult to talk. The food was good; the service was great, but the noise level was so bad that we left more quickly than we intended to.

Great place for lunch, fast service and great lunch combo options with salads, soups and sandwiches/flatbreads. I've been here 3 or 4 times when in town to take clients to lunch and it's always been good food and service.

Our waiter was so kind and friendly. Kindly explained the specials and the menu items.
This was a business lunch and he kept our Soda's and Iced Teas and Waters flowing. We never had to specifically ASK for a refill, he always just brought them. That was very nice.
I had Root Beer, which was VERY Good!! We were a group of 5 ladies on a business lunch and really enjoyed our visit and meals. We thought the price was right, "especially because it was on our manager. WE really enjoyed our food and visit.

Be aware that an open table reservation is really more like priority seating. We arrived about 5 mins before our reservation and still waited about 15 mins past our reservation time to be seated.

Someone in the kitchen must like pepper. My twin Oscar filets were drenched in black pepper as well as my side of braised mushrooms. The Cajun cream sauce on the crab meat was less spicy than the steak or mushrooms.

The appetizers of cheese plate and the pretzel bites were very good, as was my wife’s 6 oz filet and my daughter’s top sirloin.

Although I truly enjoy the Brunch Buffet and have dined there on Sunday many times, I was somewhat disappointed that I had to wait in line for food items to be replinished to more than one station.

Four of us dined after the OSU-Penn State game. The restaurant was very quiet, and we were seated immediately. The menu is for casual dining. We started with the pretzel bites appetizer. They didn't have anything to do with pretzels, but they were yummy--oven-toasted bread bites with lots of butter and two great dipping sauces. I could have eaten the whole plate for dinner. I ordered fish and chips. The fish was tasty, with a very light batter, and not at all greasy. The french fries were okay, but there was so much fish that I ate only a few of them. My nephew had a burger which he said was good. Another companion had the shrimp and grits and raved about it. My brother had chicken noodle soup which he said was unremarkable. We all had a beer.
The waiter was prompt in greeting us, but we didn't see him again until we got the check. I don't like buzzard-waiters, but he could have been a bit more attentive. Prices were reasonable. I'd go back for the fish and the pretzel bites but didn't find the menu to be unique.
We heard it was packed for the game and the bar seems to be attractive for the singles scene. The restaurant appeared to be clean and is contemporary.

The service was fantastic! We had a group of 16 for brunch. Our server was on point; the brunch buffet was kept, clean, hot, fresh and full of everything- for a Sunday brunch with a full restaurant that is no easy task!

I ordered a balsamic salad, which was a great serving for how much you pay for the salad. Something I hate in a restaurant is when the food comes out before I'm done with my salad, however the food was hot and came out quickly. I had only had a few bites of salad before our food came out. So it's a personal peeve but good service.

I didn't like the texture of my dish. I ordered the chicken and pasta. The pasta was cooked a bit too much making it softer than I prefer. The chicken was dry In places but had good flavor and great crunch.

I've been to Matt the Miller's before and I will go back I'll just pick a different meal.

Just a quick dinner with the family. Our son has allergies and the staff worked well with us to ensure he had something to eat. Food pretty good and enjoyable atmosphere. We should probably go there more often as there aren't many decent places on this side of town.

Mixed bag, some great some terrible...

Very busy, glad we made a reservation. We had a roomy booth but I'm 5'2" and it was highly uncomfortable for me - too high and seat was too deep, felt like Edith Ann sitting there.

Also very noisy, bit difficult to have a conversation across the large booth.

Pretzel bites were great, everyone in our party of 5 loved them.

My husband and I did not like the Matt's tavern chips.

Overall, prices were a bit high but in line with that area.

We liked our waitress, she was efficient, helpful (first time for all of us, several questions), was the proper level of friendly.

My shrimp and grits were good and a generous portion.

My husband loved his 6 oz. filet. It was about $5 more than our usual small-town steak place but he said it was 10x better. (He tends to exaggerate though.) He left most of his scalloped potatoes - not sure if he was just full from pretzel bites.

Nice variety of salads offered - both as entrées or sides.

2 friends had fish and chips and both really liked.

Finally, the worst - husband and I love bread pudding and took home 2 portions for later despite the absolutely exorbitant prices they charge for desserts. Worst dessert we ever purchased at any price. And that includes the 99 cent fried apple pies from Lee's Chicken.

Warmly greeted by Kayla, who turned out to be a very friendly server.
More on that later, let's get to the food.
Pretzel bites and Edamame were great.
Asian Salmon and Walleye were fantastic. I've tasted some sandwiches here in the past, great burgers and turkey clubs.
Very impressed with the walleye.
Accompanied by garlic mashed and asparagus, what a great (and light) dinner.

Back to Kayla - service was quick, friendly and accurate. Never once did we have to ask for refills of water and the place was quite busy. I was really impressed with the speed of service. Parents out on a school night, speed does help.
Thursday night drink specials might contribute to the crowd, but it's another reason to stop in.
