   Tonight we celebrated the 60th Anniversary of our 1st date, and we wouldn’t have had dinner anywhere else. Waitresses Allie and Kim are terrific and our friends. Five stars.

   Love Mastros! Excellent ambiance and service. The festive environment really made it fun, and the music performer was amazing.

   For people coming to this restaurant to celebrate a special event, my advice is to not. I asked ahead of time if a martini can be made on arrival for the birthday girl. This ask was never acknowledged. Also, I made sure to note that it was a birthday celebration at the reservation, which was ignored by all staff. We came here to celebrate a special event and it was not until after we got the check when I had to let a busser know, that we were celebrating a birthday at our table. Our waiter also did not explain the menu, did not introduce himself, and forgot about us a few times to favor a larger birthday party in our section. It was my fiance and Is first time eating at Mastro's and it'll be our last. The service and food were not remotely close to the price charged. The food was okay, but does not warrant their astronomical prices. If you are a foodie: The fat on the Ribeye was barely rendered and very chewy when it came out. The steak needed more salt and tasted very bland. Garlic Mash and Wild Mushrooms were good and seasoned well, however brussel sprouts were soggy and not worth it. (shockingly picked by our waiter). The Bone marrow appetizer was forgettable. Overall, this restaurant fell shockingly low in quality of food for price, and in experience. Therefore, this is an absolute no go. If you are celebrating a special event, save yourself and just go to Javiers next door.

   Very limited menu. Seating is not well thought out. We were in a small room with a lot of glass. Although there was plenty of seating available we given a seat just a few feet from 4 male "business" diners who had to speak louder than each other as they drank.

   My experience was nothing short of amazing! I would go to Mastro's ten times over because their service is excellent, timely, and they really care about their customers.

   Great food. Service was uneven. Too much time between early course and main. And hard to flag someone down to get our bill.
