Service and food were excellent; the atmosphere was perfect
I had a pastrami sandwich and there wasn't enough meet. I would probably double the amount of meat you put on the sandwich. It was very good otherwise.
Parking was to be, per Open Table $10 self parking with validation. When I left, I was charged $25. Completely uncalled for. Will never return.
The service was poor. We had a large group and meals didn’t come out together. One order was lost even though we all ordered at the same time. I wouldn’t recommend or if there for dinner again.
Our server was outstanding along with his assistants. They were all on the ball.
Well prepared food at over-priced hotel venue. I had multiple meals here during a conference. Well suited for business meals but not a top choice if you have mobility.
Menu was changed from what was displayed online. Lobster was over seasoned and charred so could not even taste the lobster.
Food was good, and staff was friendly. A bit noisy so not great for our group of 10. Super convenient though, so fit our purpose.
Good atmosphere decor. But for meaty omelette ($14), do NOT choose "vegetable" omelette. When you say so, the server may NOT say that they will charge $1 per vegetable choice, for "make your own" omelette. They did NOT say that the "make your own" omelette would be easy $21 - it would be ethical to say the price difference. Also, when they offer "coffee" at the very start, that means you will see $5 for "coffee." Some rundown restaurants may rip off customers like this, but a 4/5 star upscale hotel restaurant does not need to do this kind of dirty tricks to make more money. I can't believe I still tipped them.
I was there for a business lunch; everything was very good.
The food was excellent and it is a beautiful setting. The food is expensive however. I would expect a larger portion for the prices they charge. My wife ordered a lemon drop thinking it would cost what an average drink normally does. It cost $20! Ridiculous price for a small drink.
Too much noise from the bar which is close to restaurant
Server not taking care of us.
Need to ask for a spoon 3 times to get it and from another server.
We enjoyed a wonderful meal at the Marina Kitchen. Our server, Monica, did and excellent job & the sommelier was knowledgeable & unpretentious.
We had friends in from out of town, and we were very disappointed in the quality of the food. We ordered the $105 tomahawk steak which serves 2 – 4 people, and the meat was disappointing in quality. One of our appetizers included hummus, which was noticeably bad. Our meal for four, without drinks, was $293, including the tip; and we were extremely disappointed.
Super slow service at both the onsite restaurant and outside restaurant where you waited 15+ minutes for a server. For dinner I ordered what was described as a fish stew with halibut. It showed up as one small piece of fish in maybe 2 tablespoons of sauce. Nothing else. Disappointing.
Great spot for a business meeting during a conference
Why they only had one waitstaff on a Friday night is beyond me. Shame on the Manager!
Came here and ordered off the menu - my companion had the Buffett. Visited on a Saturday around 11am. Kathy she was our server and she was outstanding and my rating is not a reflection of her.
We went here for breakfast while staying at the Marriott hotel bc of convenience- but I did not have a great experience.
Found some sort of plastic in my food not sure where it came from. They had to remake my meal and replace my
Drink. All that was good- but an apology from a manager would have gone a long way. I was not compensated and I was not looking for a free meal. But the customer service was lacking.
Even though my companion had the buffet they stopped eating to wait for me to get new food. Which let his food get Cold. It was just a mess.
I would say take the time to go to a breakfast/ brunch place instead of coming here... even if it’s for convenience.
Due to last-minute staffing problems restaurant was closed off. I had requested patio seating to be able to hear the concert nearby. They opened it for us and gave us an excellent server, Sam, Who went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable even though she had her other station to cover as well. The food is always interesting creative and delicious, and again it was perfectly prepared.
New wine list has become unbalanced and it’s pricey esa and could use a few more well-chosen mid-level wines.
The holiday dinner buffet was very good. Service was good I felt the price was reasonable.
Great buffet for 4th of July. Server was very nice. It was close to the Symphony concert we attended. My only complaint is that we spent $90 on a buffet meal for 2 , plus $36 in the bar for 2 drinks and parking was $30. Pricy parking given we ate in the restaurant and used the bar. Most hotels offer discounts for parking if you eat in their restaurants, but the Marriott Marquis only allows a discount for 3 hours with purchase. So not sure we would return to Marina's kitchen for another symphony show. We weren't looking for free parking, but reducing the fee by $10 would have been nice given we spent $136 plus tips in your establishment.
Great food, outstanding service
Starters were all good. Service was so-so. There was an issue with one of the kids grilled cheese, where the bread was so hard at the ends that he couldn’t get his teeth through it. I could not even break it with my hands. It felt like microwaved grilled cheese that was held out too long. He ate as much as he could but I notified the waitress about the bread issue. She said the chef would make him another one but I told her that would not be necessary since he did eat all the tops of the sandwich and didn’t want him to waste a full sandwich. Our bill was over $113 which is fine, except they charged me for the grilled cheese. We ordered drinks and one scoop of ice cream. You would think they would at least comp the scoop of ice cream if they didn’t want to take the full grilled cheese off the menu. Really tacky. I had the Atlantic Char which was really good, just a tad bit salty.
Wonderful service and delicious food! The hostess was very nice and seated us immediately. Thank you!
Fantastic gluten free pizza/flatbread crust. It’s clearly made from scratch and not some pre-made frozen one from the store.
We had a business lunch here. The staff was very accommodating when we requested a table change. Also, the service was prompt and the entrees excellent. A very good experience.
Enjoyed the food, love the ambience, not too crowded!
Rueben was amazing. Efficient and friendly. Navigated the menu at our request. And somehow the kitchen delivered our food at the same time, although one guest arrived and ordered late.
The breakfast buffet was very good. We had a table overlooking the marina with a great view.
My waitress, Lindsey, was outstanding. It was my daughters Birthday and they made a special dessert that was not on the menu. I visited the lobby bar a few days later and Lindsey remembered my face and returned my credit card which I inadvertently left at the restaurant three days earlier. Great service all the way around!
I appreciated the quick service during this business meeting.the was a little high for sandwiches and salad, but food was overall good. Abe was very efficient as our Server.
Had a wonderful time at the Marina Kitchen as we were given the ‘bird cage’ to dine in. My out of town guests equally loved it. Thanks for the tremendous service and food. Everything was great!
La comida deliciosa , el personal con muy mala actitud
Attend the Thanksgiving Buffet every year and as always amazing.
Very nice environment for any occasion. We came to celebrate Thanksgiving Day and the brunch was phenomenal! The server Robert was very attentive and provided excellent service. Highly recommend Marina Kitchen!
We were traveling from Maryland and arrived in time for our Thanksgiving meal. Being that we had two vegetarians in our group we weren't sure how much food we'd actually get with the buffet. But there were plenty of options and everything was delicious and plentiful. We definitely left there full and happy.
We returned for lunch on our last day there before heading to the airport and again had a delicious meal. Service both times was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend the Marina Kitchen.
Absolutely the best.
We love the food here - breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner... we’ve had all! Always a great time. We are so in love with this place.
Today the level was even above than usual: thank you, Daniel, for your attention.. it was highly appreciated!
We will always come back.
Ideal if you are attending the convention center. The food and service are good.
Food was very good. We were seated in the area with a view of the marina so it was much quieter than the area that is closer to the bar. This made it great for conversations. Servers were very friendly and attentive.
