Margaux’s is and always has been our favorite place to dine! We celebrated my husband for a belated Father’s Day and it was absolutely wonderful!

I went with family as a party of eight. The food was fine but overpriced. Out of the multiple dishes I sampled, the steak and blue cheese was best. It seems very fancy from the outside, but inside has an eclectic and funny feel. Unfortunately the service was subpar. One person at our table ordered the three course meal and was only served the entree (they forgot the salad and dessert) and the server didn’t seem bothered or apologetic. We also waited an hour for our food after placing our orders. I actually didn’t mind the wait because we had fun talking. But the slow service is something to keep in mind. Overall, we did enjoy ourselves.

Service and ambience were both fantastic. The short rib tacos we got for an appetizer were incredible. The main course I got (NY strip with some kind of rice/corn/butter bean side) was okay - it came with a sauce that basically just tasted like ketchup and the side was too salty and tasted like it had lots of masala which I don’t care for, so those were not ideal. The steak was good though. We also had some cream puff type thing for dessert which was pretty good but difficult to eat due to how tall it was

Food tastes great but loaded with calories. 1 1/2 hours to eat. Overrated a bit. 3 stars. Small expensive portions

We’ve been coming to Margauxs for at least 25 years. Overall, the food has been very good, and the prices reasonable. We recently went and had a decent meal. The Peking duck was good. The spring rolls were great. The vegetables were undercooked and bland. The profiteroles were amazing, as usual. I was a bit surprised to receive the bill and see that the large bottled waters were $13 each. In general, it seems the value here has gone down. It just didn’t feel like a $150 meal (for two people without alcohol). I hope this changes because overall we have really enjoyed Margaux’s and love that it’s close to our house.
