Overprice for mediocre food. Service was slow.
This establishment closed and didn’t notify us that they cancelled
our reservation.
How in the world Jessica was able to handle the entire dining room I don’t know. But she did with good cheer and lots of energy. Short ribs as good as you can get as usual.
"Oven roasted chicken with dijon" was breaded, pan fried, and covered in oil. Server argued with us, said it was described as that on the menu. It wasn't. Server got our order wrong and then proceeded to argue with us instead of just being nice about it . He didn't make things right. The asparagus was thin, chewy and burnt. The salad was good. We made the mistake of having dinner here before the lockdown and they were out of everything and everyone's overall mood was depressing and lacked caring. $70 + for 3 small salads that were edible was ridiculous, not to mention the extremely rude server.
Great meal by the cook. The veggie omelet was cooked perfect along with the potatoes. Our waiter he was awesome. He checked regularly with up to see how we were doing and continued the up keep with our coffee. Above a beyond service I thought I was at the palace fit for a queen. Than you for the delicious meal and customer service during times like this. We will surely be back🙂
Love it. I had my birthday celebration here. The food is delicious!
Very nice experience at Manzana.....our server was great and the food was very enjoyable.
This might have been a 5 star experiance had the menu on Open Tables website been the same as Manzana's menu. After searching for hours, I made reservations at this resturaunt because the menu open table provided had a fried oyster entre which is what my wife asked for.
Masa Fried Pacific Oysters
$13.95
French fries, jalapeno tartar, caper cabbage slaw
The waitress said, "I don't think we've had oysters on the menu for 6 years? And she was right, there were NO oysters on the menu. Bummer. My wife had the Steelhead, thought she was getting Aspargus but got green beans. I ordered the Salmon which was very good but the brussel sprouts were almost raw and the fingerling potatoes were pretty tastless. The atmosphere and the service was top notch. We will give it another try... someday. I think I will use the actual Resturaunt website from now on.
This was our first time visiting. We waited for our dinner table in the bar and ordered a drink. My glass was delivered with lipstick marks from the previous user and obviously poor washing/sanitizing procedures! We should have left after that, but we were hungry and had a reservation. The noise level here was extreme. Loud, screaming children and a large group nearby made it difficult to have table conversation. Our waitress was clearly overrun and service delayed, but she was trying hard. The food was mediocre and overpriced for the poor service and loud atmosphere. For us, this place is more like an Abblebees as a opposed to a finer dining establishment, which we were looking for.
Thanks for accommodating us on my wife's B-Day. everything was great!!
Very clean and quiet with adequate table spacing. Service was a little slow and we had to go find someone to refill water glasses.
Everything was good except they have zero vegan options and only two vegetarian options. Not a single entree was vegetarian so I ended up eating a side salad. That’s disappointing considering how many people live vegetarian and vegan lifestyles these days. Service was fantastic though.
The waitress was stretched . She was slow and although pleasant . Never checked back after food came etc
The fish tacos and sauces with it were tasty but food cold . Did not even mention as was hungry .
We have been regulars for almost 2 years. Great service, drinks and food. We did take out when things shut down and it was always hot and fresh upon pick up. Enjoying dine in with proper safety protocols observed. Enjoy.
Your covid social distancing in the lounge was not enforced.
First, I’d like to say that I realize Covid has deeply effected businesses and I feel that had these times not exist our experience would have been different.
Upon entering the restaurant, the host area was empty and no one was in site - meaning wait staff, manager, anyone. After another couple and I waited for over 5 minutes, looking o to the bar area and starting to walk into the dining room, a wait person arrived. It was very unusual for a restaurant of this caliber.
The couple we met were already seated & had their drinks. It was about 10 minutes before a server came to ask about our drinks. Drinks came quickly and were very good.
The server gave us a cursory run down of the menu - was definitely not thrilled to be doing it, nor was she very helpful.
Two of us ordered the 3 course Seafood meal. The crab cakes were light, bright and filled with good crab surrounded by a warm corn relish. They were really good.
The lobster bisque was good, nothing spectacular.
Shrimp Louie salad was fresh, had a lot of shrimp and was a good size.
For our final course, we had the Salmon Oscar-ish dish. The salmon was cooked perfectly, it had a couple of small lumps of solid crab on it, but the taste of the sauce was off.
Our server was absent in the dining room as were other servers. It looked as though the manager was helping bring out meals. When it came time for our check, the server seemed to warm up to us a bit.
Can’t say I’d come back here, except for happy hour where crappy service and laissez faire is expected.
Food was decent, but nothing special. Drinks and diner were served quickly, but the wait once we ordered desert was fairly long. I might go back again, but it was not memroable enough that I would place a reservation
Waitstaff seemed stretched very thin. Slow service. Limited menu. Forgot to bring our starters until long after our mains arrived; no explanation. Not good steelhead.
Classy and picturesque restaurant with excellent food and service
Bar area was way overcrowded and with Covid... not good practice.
Tables too close
Reservation given bar seating
Not as good as usual....missing the bread and butter/fresh food.
Really great meal and dessert! A great spot for a nice meal with friends!
Menu was very limited.
My friend and I had a great meal. We had happy hour drinks which were tasty! The Brie appetizer was fantastic, crusted in almonds. My meal was wonderful! Try the scallops!
We had a fine time. We were seated promptly, and were served cocktails. We enjoyed the outside seating - weather was perfect. The food was excellent.
Recently sat outside for an early evening, 5:30pm dinner reservation. The weather was perfect, noise from the protestors was a distraction yet it didn't take away from our meal and service. The steak was prepared as requested, medium-rare, ribs were tangy and tasty and the deep fried cod light and flaky. The sides of mashed potatoes were creamy and paired off well with the grilled asparagus. The French fries were crispy with a tender bite. If you are up for an appetizer adventure, try the toasted nut crusted Brie with candied walnuts, the later was my favorite part of the appetizer. The wine list was okay but if you are wine consumer it is a little light on memorable wines. Would recommend Manzana for a casual or fun evening outside on the patio. Our wait person was very attentive and helpful in recommending dishes and wines. Take advantage of Indian Summer on Manzana's patio before the rains return and enjoy a glass of your favorite adult beverage along with a tasty appetizer or meal.
Staff and management lied to us about a long (hour) delay in receiving our food. Food quality was also not good (which is a change). One told us the printer stopped working and the manager said a “cool walked off the job”. It took an argument with the manager to get any consideration of comp and he only took off the steak which was over cooked. Poor form on his part.
Obviously struggling with the virus, and perhaps understaffed. We dined indoors and their emphasis was definitely on taking care of patio guests. Waitress very helpful and cordial when she had time for us and apologetic, but still...
Steaks not at even close to being cooked to order, had to be sent back.
Historically a good place, hope this was an anomaly. Wouldn't recommend currently.
Ver nice meal and lovely to dine out doors.
Second time here. Overall food is excellent. We had the scallops and the were great. Also had fish tacos which were just ok. Last tune had the ribs and there excellent. So 2 out of 3. Good service and ambiance.
The food was okay but not outstanding. The menu had been truncated due to COVID19 so some of the things that I was expecting to sell were not available. The service was okay due to the fact they were understaffed because of the limit to the number of customers allowed in the dining area.
We loved our food, this was our first time dinning at Manzana, the service was great, the cocktails and food amazing, definitely a place to come back.
We hadn't visited in a long time, it was great to be back. The food was amazing, the service was fantastic, and we look forward to coming back soon.
Food was amazing. The chocolate banana pie is a must for dessert.
Food was very good. A little pricey but very good food
Overall good. We sat in the bar area and should have asked for the dining area, but ok. Server was really nice and respectful.
From the person you seated us to the waitstaff who served us, none was overly friendly or attentive. Sadly, the worst experience I’ve had at this restaurant.
Our server, Laura M. was outstanding. She was knowledgeable, always fast to address our needs and pleasant to work with. I would love to have her serve us on all future occasions.
We always love Manzana! Even during the time of Covid, they are still great. They take it seriously and we appreciate it. We had the parmesan encrusted halibut and it was super. Moist and flavorful. Our server, was terrific. We sat outside and she handled the entire area by herself and did an amazing job!
