Manzana - Lake Oswego

Great food great service, first time eating out since the lock-down and it was terrific, we'll be back.

WE HADS THE BEST DINING EXPERIENCE AT MANZANA EVER.
bOTH THE SCALLOPS AND THE FILET WERE EXCELLENT. We LOVE BEING ABLE TO DINE OUSIDE WITH A VIEW OF THE LAKE AND THE PARK PLAZA. WE WILL BE BACK.

Took my husband for Father’s Day. Everything was great.

The location is great, and the fact that we could sit and dine outside it was a big plus. We celebrated Father’s Day with my kids, and this was the first time we were dining out for the last 4 months. My food was ok, but no flavor. I missed to ask the options for the fish in the tacos, and I should’ve get the grilled version. It was no taste or flavor on the “regular” dish. But we still enjoyed the lunch together.

There was a lot of distancing and the servers all wore masks. Service was fast
and our server was very nice and attentive.

The almond battered scallops were outstanding. The buttered potatoes were perfect and the vegetables were special; a special celebration of my 88th birthday.

So I went there with a girlfriend for a special retirement luncheon. I ordered the special halibut on rice with asparagus it just was not As good as it was the time before when I ordered that same dish. The asparagus were extremely salty… Fish seemed a little rubbery but it was covered with a basil sauce so you could kind of muster that. Anyway all in all kind of a disappointing lunch

Understaffed due to COVID which led to cold food.

It was weird. I think some of it had to do with the new limited seating outside. But the service was not great, the food was mediocre at best, and our server was not good. I don’t think I would go back.

I treated my mother to dinner there right after the reopening due to COVID-19. We wore masks, as did all the employees. What surprised me was that in the entrance, there were no guidelines for staying 6' apart and of the 12 people who came in when we did, we were the only ones wearing masks. There was nothing the staff could do, but I found it strange.

Great Steak! Menu was great even after the re-open!

Hand sanitizer was empty when you walked in even though there was a sign that said to sanitize your hands. An employee was clearly using the table next to us. There was a half eaten muffin and some other restaurant things. The scallops had a lot of breading. Mashed potatoes were great.

We celebrated our son's birthday Sunday eve. Food & service couldn't have been better. Manzana's is a great family restaurant with something for all members on their menu.

It was such a pleasure to get out after lockdown! Thank you! The food and service were great as usual. The only reason I gave 4 stars for food is because the menu is limited. I was really looking forward to a dinner salad, which wasn't on their limited menu.

We have been regulars for over a year and we always enjoy everything about Manzana.

Most of the food and drinks were good, although the chicken wings starter was REALLY salty! They have such generous kids’ meal portions, which I always appreciate.

The patio was understaffed and the kitchen very slow. We had to wait too long for our meal and the waiter did not have time to check on us. He never refilled my iced tea even after I twice requested him to. When we were through with our meal, we had also requested taco takeouts. We were kept waiting about 40 minutes and didn't see our waiter the whole time. I asked a table cleaner to tell him I had been waiting forever. He finally brought it and said he hadn't forgotten about us, the kitchen was really backed up.
I'm sure the service will improve after awhile from reopening, but we won't return until we think you've had time.

Good food overall. Ribeye steak I had was probably a 7 out of 10. But they aren't a known steak house so my expectations weren't that high. Everything else was a 8 or 9 out of 10 for food. The service was a solid 10 tho. Really great!

Everyone working was very nice and doing their very best under strange circumstances. We look forward to the day that the servers don’t have to wear masks and the restaurant can serve it’s regular menu. The food was very good, but they ran out of most options because of supply chain issues. But we will be back.

Given the circumstances and restrictions, we still had a lovely time. The poor wait staff seemed a little overwhelmed but they were still extremely friendly.

We enjoyed the lunch very much the food the courtesy and the hygiene were perfect. A sense of normalcy in these abnormal times

We ordered an appetizer on the happy hour menu before ordering our dinner. It was well before happy hour ended. The bill later came and we were charged $7.00 more for the same item that was on the happy hour menu. When we questioned it the server told us that price was only on the “other side of the patio since that was the bar side.” We stated that we ordered it off of the menu we were given when we were seated and she said “we’ve told the manager he needs to have a 2nd menu printed”.
My response was that you should honor the price on the menu we were given and she said there was nothing she could do.

Service was a little slow and bread was not brought to the table until we were almost done with our meal. Otherwise, it was delicious and we will go back again.

Very large restaurant with few patrons which made it very quiet. There is a nice bar with tables to watch big screens and a nice eating area with booths and tables. Menu has a lot of selections. Tortilla soup was delish as well as a sandwich on foccacia big enough for two moderate appetites. Not a local but would go again.

The food was great and our server was even better. Genuinely friendly and brought us a free ice cream when he learned we were there to celebrate my wife’s new position. We’ll be back before long.

Jeffrey was our server and he was not only attentive, polite and timely in his service, he was an exceptionally good listener, paid attention to details and requests, and truly went above and beyond to make our evening a wonderful experience. The food was wonderful and the receptionists were sincerely welcoming and kind.

Service was great, very helpful and friendly. Food, very tasty. Setting, very pleasant, sunny day.

Enjoyed our anniversary dinner. Drinks - Food-Service were all top-notch. We recommend!

My vege burger was outstanding! Worth my 1 hr drive from Salem

As I wrote for my Trip Advisor review of Manzana's, the halibut and the pork ribs were both great, but the presentation of the baked beans "slopped" onto the left side of the plate with the cornbread getting wet from the bean juice that had also run over to the ribs was not appetizing at all! I simply stared at my plate stunned for several seconds before saying, "this just looks awful!" A small bowl of the baked beans would have been much more appealing. Fortunately, the baked beans and the corn bread were both delicious, but the presentation left a great deal to be desired!!

Beautiful location. Beautiful decor. Very good food. Very reasonable prices. I am very happy that I chose this place.
