A New York style delicatessen, bakery and restaurant with a full bar and an incredible outdoor patio.
Nice place, good food but it is closing. Suppose to shut down on July 1. That’s too bad
Food was good and service was responsive. Disappointed in the bakery take home selection.
Made reservations on Open Table and showed up 5 minutes early and said that they were closed! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 The same thing happened tonight!!!
My guest had not been in Manhattan in The Desert and was pleasantly surprised at the availability of so many lunch options...But best of all, she LOVED the service. Louise is simply wonderful, as are the others, but Louise was our waitress the other day...
I was taken to the Deli for Father's Day and the place was empty. We were sat at a table that was broken and the table top rocked. We moved to another table that was slightly better but we had to bring chairs from another table since there weren't enough chairs at the new table.
I haven't been to the deli in about a year and the prices have gone up and the amount of meat on a sandwich has been reduced and the quality of the meat has also suffered.
When it came to dessert, we order a brownie with ice cream only to find out there weren't any brownies. We asked for cookies with sprinkles and there were none. We ended up getting some mini-danish and we felt it was day old from the stale taste or lack of taste but they were discounted.
Everyone should try to be seated in Louise's section; however, I've had wonderful service no matter whose section I've sat in - It's just a great place to eat.
Food was very good service was even better.
Disappointed with the view.
Fuzz, was a wonderful waitress, very helpful, wonderful pastries!
Always very comfortable and inviting. Nothing fancy. Dinner menu is a great value, especially the summer menu. Food and servicer has always been very good . Would definitely recommend.
Great food and service.
Really enjoyed my first dining experience at Manhattan
Their Happy Hour was really a great value and the service and food was great!!
I will definitely go back again
Thanks for a great time
Good food- first visit. Great summer dinner menu. Good selection
The meal we all had were very pleased with. Only with the turkey dinner turkey gravy would of been nicer. Friendly and pleasant atmosphere and no rushing us out after dinner
For the second time in a row, the service was terrible. You may not have enough wait people because it took 15 minutes for her to give us menus. A long time to take our order and forever to get our bill at the end. Had to ask busboy for items because our wait person never came by the table and never looked our way if/when she walked by. We called our but was ignored.
Very basic food with little flavor. I prefer quality to quantity, so this is not for me.
Amazing tasting food and prices! The sandwiches are huge portions and their breakfast/brunch menu satisfies many cravings! They offer unlimited mimosas as well! We love going with a big group and just the 2 of us to watch football during the season.
We got the job done over coffee and breakfast - My guests were happy and that's what counted.
Comfortable atmosphere, good service, extensive menu. Best of all - the food is delicious - try the kreplach appetizers. For comfort food - they have hot turkey sandwiches and dinners with mashed potatoes and gravy. The comfort food goes on and on....Sometimes you just NEED it.
Check it out great deli sandwich but much much more!
We had a party and of 8 family members celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. The corned beef and cabbage was excellent as were the Reuben sandwiches.
One member of our party had the brisket and she said it was great!! Our waitress was so nice. She was prompt with our cocktails, appetizers and
Main course. She had a great sense of humor, which made for a fun evening!! Great place for breakfast also!
Although the place was packed for ST Patrick's Day, service was quick and the food was delicious. If you're going there on a holiday date, strongly recommend reservations. We were there at 5 p.m. for our reservation and there was already a long line waiting for a table.
the waiter first stopped by our table minutes after we arrived, we were not ready to order, then after about 25 minutes we had to flag him down in order to place our order. service was slow, food was delivered efficiently, however, some of the orders were wrong. overall the experience was fair we were disappointed.
Unfortunately the service was very slow. It was OK because we were not into much of a hurry. Also they did not heed particular instructions such as mayonnaise on the sandwich etc.
We ordered salmon and turkey entrees both dry. Over cooked veg tasteless watery rice. Cafeteria food. Disappointing
I just wish that NYC had as good a restaurant with good old fashioned Jewish deli. This place tops anything still hanging on in NYC.
The men’s restroom needs an air freshener. It smelled like grandpa Goldberg took his first dump in a month.
Corn beef was thin and chewy, and the bill was presented without even asking if we wanted dessert.
The food is good but the wait even with reservations was long and the service was terrible. Long wait for waiter to take our order, bring our drinks, and bring our food.
Reserving through Open table enabled the hostess to seat us immediately. We were told she had our table ready and quickly showed us into the booth area of the lounge. Our waiter was very attentive to start but service slowed after our dinner was served, the restaurant was extremely busy and we are patient patrons but I would have loved another glass of wine.
Have had both breakfast and dinner here. A good choice for casual comfort food dining. Service was attentive and the menu is what you would want from a New York style restaurant.
Our Valentine's Day visit to Manhattan's was a little rough. I've already written a review about the experience but let's just say we felt unwelcome, had to wait much too long for meet and seat, server engaged only minimally, had to ask for part of our meal that didn't come, super-watery soft drinks, over-cooked veggies, and a lackluster ambiance. NO background music in spite of two courteous requests after 4pm. Food was mostly good but we expect more than that on a special occasion--and left feeling disappointed.
Great outdoor seating (lots), warm or cold (patio heaters). Inside is also very nice. Bar is well done. Food is special and portions are amazing. Love it!
Great salads, sandwiches and desserts!
What a mensch! A NYer who cooks Luke my great grandmother and he's single?? How?!
The best potato knish, excellent service, salads are built for 2, sandwich lasted 2 meals, lovely bakery, best quality.
We arrived in time for happy hour.
Had the calamari which was ok but a little over cooked ,also the Reuben fries with coleslaw. Good flavour but not very much meat however for the price no complaints. Decent value for money .
We asked several times for pickles and sauerkraut. It never came. Here in the Desert deli food does not come cheap.
Fun place to eat in palm desert with good soup and huge sandwiches.
Good food. Loud table conversations. Service was slow.
Hash browns were flat and tasteless. I don’t want food preparation in advance
Great place to eat. Food and Service are always excellent and the prices are very reasonable.
Very disappointed with dinner experience. I ordered a drink from the bar but no one ever came to ask if my friend or I wanted anything else to drink. In fact no one came except to take order and bring check. I ordered a French dip which was dry ( roll and meat). Asked for horseradish. Was brought plastic bottle of store bought “horseradish.” My friend ordered a salad which was ok. Had been for breakfast in bar area which was good which is why I suggested trying dinner. Dining room very bright and stark.
