I would like to given us a five, but I felt that the hostess staff were a bit too aloof. Also, it was very frustrating to come in the day before for an early dining service and see only two tables being occupied but being told that we must have a reservation to dine before 6pm.
Attentive service, friendly waitress. Gave good suggestions. Food was very good, especially the causa and ceviche, as was the Pisco Sour!
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. My team liked it so much that we are returning later in the week for a second meal.
Absolutely recommend Mango.
Great atmosphere and location.
The food, service and ambiance are perfect. We had an amazing time. Would recommend and would definitely visit over and over. Loved it.
We are regular diners at Mango - know the menu forwards and backwards. The experience is consistently excellent in all respects: great food, great drinks, and outstanding service.
This occasion was our annual “back to school dinner” as a family - even though the kids are now 22 and 19!
Look forward to coming back soon!
The the food and service was top notch. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
My second time at this St. Louis charmer. Interesting and satisfying food, especially a deft touch with seafood. The bar turns out very satisfying cocktails. The service, though, has been nothing short of perfect both times: attentive, friendly, and gracious. Heartily recommended.
As always, Mango Peruvian exceeded our expectations
This is an excellent restaurant, and I highly recommend it. The plantain chips and cilantro salsa verde were a great, addicting way to start the meal, and our entrees (Aji de Gallina and Pescado a lo Macho) were both extremely flavorful and filling. The accompanying rice also tasted great.
Great service. The Pisco Sour was on point. This was our first tine at Mango. Each of had a different meal choice and everyone was very satisfied with their meals. Unfortunately we did not have room for dessert. We will be back!
Delicious food!!! Drinks were a bit overpriced, but overall a wonderful experience!
Mango never disappoints
Fantastic! Everything was top notch - from the drinks, food, knowledge of wait staff, atmosphere and their charitable donation to Operation Food Search Mango is one of my STL favorites!
The red sangria is amazing! Has a touch of cinnamon. The empanada appetizer is a must! Love the plantain chips instead of bread. All the main courses are delicious!
Had lunch here. Food was very good nice location near the convention center
This has become my go to place in downtown St Louis. Really appreciate the variety of the menu and the daily chef specials. This time I had the shrimp with a wonderfully rich tomato sauce and grilled zucchini. They have really good wine selections and the service staff know how to be very attentive without being overbearing.
I would highly recommend Mango Peruvian Restaurant. Everything my girlfriend and I ate was delicious. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. We asked him for some recommendations and they were all excellent. This restaurant was an absolute win and we'd definitely go back next time we're in St. Louis together.
Great food. Great service.
I first visited Mango years ago and it was amazing. Years later, Mango is still stellar.
Recently my wife and I visited Mango and we were served by Danielle who was awesome. She was open to conversation and was very helpful with our questions about the menu and STL.
We opted for her top menu recommendations. I had the Pescado a lo Macho and my wife choose the Lomo Saltado. Both of our dishes were superb. The service was excellent and quick and we didn't feel rushed.
All in all our dinner at Mango was incredible and I highly recommend it for anyone in STL.
I took advantage of their outdoor seating for dinner and was thoroughly pleased with the entire experience. The waiter was attentive, but not hovering. The food was really tasty and I enjoyed the grilled chicken skewers immensely. Mango is one of my two favorite restaurants in St Louis and this was just another feather in their cap. Too bad I’m only in town once a month!
The food was phenomenal and our waitress was super nice and took great care of our every request. If we lived in St Louis we would probably become regulars.
Food was good. Limited menu but all of our favorites were there.
Very slow service......very inattentive.... should mot have to wave the server down multiple times when there's open tables.
Enjoyed fabulous dinner (for 2) in a cozy booth. Sangria was exceptionally good in addition to my husband’s caipirinha. Ordered 2 small plates and the steak tenderloin dinner to share. The quinoa salad was really DELICIOUS and full of flavor. The beef empanada special was good too but we would have preferred 2-3 smaller pieces rather than one big one to share. Surprised there was no sauce served on the side. The steak dinner was outstanding. Meat was juicy and flavorful. We were too full for dessert. Service was excellent! Thanks for a great evening!
Great restaurant across from the convention center, great place to take food for business. Food is outstanding.
Food was good, I enjoyed the mushroom dish. Ambiance was nice. The waitress was friendly. The plantain chips and cilantro dip were delicious. I would recommend this restaurant.
Ate there twice while visiting. Excellent cocktails, relaxed atmosphere, elegant restaurant.
We had a phenomenal anniversary dinner experience at Mango. From the hostess to our server exceptional customer service.
I ordered the specialty beef and my hub the fish. They were tasty.
DIMITRY and Mango team handled our group of 9 with great skill. Food and drinks were different and delicious
The food is always perfectly prepared & served hot. Servers are knowledgeable which is important for a Peruvian restaurant. My command of the spices & words in Portuguese is lacking.
We all enjoyed everything it the standouts were the Ceviche & Paiche. I highly recommend Mango & look forward to returning soon!
Great food and cocktails--Pisco Sour was incredible
Great service, wonderful food! Would definitely recommend!
It was good but it was disappointed. Not like a regular Peruvian restaurants i grew up around. They didn't even have one of the main Peruvian dishes papa a la huacaina. The main hostess had no real customer service but our waitress was great. I will not be coming back
Enjoyed as always. Service was good and food was also good.
Very good Pisco
Would go back
Not 5 stars because not my favourite Peruvian.
Definitely great for the area!
Great service, fabulous food - generous portions - definitely recommend.
Good food. the taste is very athentic especially shrimp
