Always Fantastic!!
So sad to see it go. Truly a gem in the city.
Mango is my favorite restaurant in St. Louis! I have recommended it to many friends and they all have become return customers.
Very sad that they will be closing due to the pandemic. Hopefully they will be able to reopen once things return to normal!
Sad to see you close! I really hope you'll open again in the future.
Food and service was AMAZING as usual!
As always, the food was delicious and the service was excellent.
Great place sorry they are closing
The very best restaurant. STL is losing a great place! 💔
We will miss these guys. Perfect ceviche and delightful lomo saltado 🙏🏻💕
The food was decent, not as good as the price suggested though. Further, as my fiancé and I were trying to get away from the political turmoil that has captured our Great Nation, they were blasting CNN which we found to be unwarranted for a night of decompression while on vacation. It would have been much more appropriate to put on something not political in order to respect all guests. We thought about leaving because of that.
Haven’t been in a while but thought we would try it again. everything was as great as we remembered. Pitcher of sangria still the best in the city. Food was delicious. Very COVID safe.
Special date night! Beef empanadas, plantains and chutney, shredded chicken and rice, mushroom pasta, chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, and pinonio- amazing! Service was great! Food was amazing!
Mango is my favorite restaurant, but this was my first visit during the pandemic. I was very pleased with their safety precautions (e.g. masks, distance between tables). Of course, the food at Mango is always fantastic. My favorite appetizer is always the empanada. The fist of the day (salmon) was excellent. I tried the daiquiri for the first time and it was fantastic!
Really enjoyed. Steak was outstanding. Shareable plates. Has Covid protection that are enough to make you comfortable but not feel bad. Good experience.
Really great food & large portions. Appetizers are a great value.
The food was amazing and fresh. The pisco sour was perfect. Love our server- very knowledgeable, accommodating and patient. We will be back next time we visit our daughter/niece at SLU!!
We had a wonderful experience at Mango. We felt socially distanced and safe during COVID. We'd never had any Peruvian food before, and found all the new foods delicious. They were flavorful, fresh, and we loved it. Our server was friendly, outgoing, and attentive. 100% recommend.
The food was excellent! Best empanadas I've had in fifty years. The mango sorbet was a perfect end--Great flavor and not too sweet.
Aside from some heathen stealing my keys from my table, this is a phenomenal place. Great Peruvian food. Will definitely go back for more. And, I’ll keep my valuables in my pockets!!!
Nice food and good atmosphere
Mango’s never disappoints! The service is amazing and the food is always exceptional! This is one of our favorite date night places!!
Excellent food and friendly service. Was a very good value for the cost.
The food was amazing. Everything we were able to try tasted fantastic. The reason I say able to try is because the service was slow. We gave up on dessert after waiting 30 minutes for it. I will still go back.
Aji De Gallina was awesome and the waitress Cindy was spot on with her recommendations! Try the yellow sauce!
The food was great!! The atmosphere was perfect! Our waitress was the best!
Definitely check out Mango for great food and an awesome time!
Torn on ambience...outdoor seating on Washington Ave. isn't the best option, but since it is the only option right now, they are doing the best they can. Can't wait until we can dine in the restaurant.
Fantastic food/drinks as usual, but unfortunately loud. Patio only seating and a fellow patron of the restaurant had his phone blaring music and motorcycles were super loud driving up/down Washington.
They made me an awesome Tacu Tacu Lomo Saltado even though it's not on the menu!
The food was excellent. The service was mostly fast and attentive. The street was really really loud. Cars and motorcycles were driving by revving their engines and blasting music. Not Mango’s fault, obviously, but if you’re wanting a quiet place to dine that may be something to consider
These are difficult times for restaurants, but the fact is our waiter was not very good. He was slow. He did not bring our wine until more then 20 minutes after we received our meal. He did not write down our order and then confused our order.
Great food!!
Quality food and good service. Prices are a bit on the higher side but overall worth it.
I love their green salsa and plantain chips. We had a reservation and were give the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Unfortunately, they were out of chicha morada. So we had Inca Cola and a mango iced tea. The ceviche was wonderful and the beef in the Lomo Saltado was tender and delicious. Definitely going back!
Paige was an outstanding server, and offered a lot of great insight into the food, as well as life!
This used to be my favorite restaurant and it was the first place I went when restaurants opened after the COVID closures. We would go all the time.
The lomo saltado was one of my all time favorites. They seem to have changed the ingredients. The beef was cheap and had a terrible taste. They compensated by adding a lot more French fries than usual and more sauce to cover up the cheap meat. It was tough and chewy and the taste was not good.
They also didn’t re-fill the plantain chips. Getting a drink re-fill was tough. Our waitress went MIA.
Just a bad experience all around. The neighborhood has went downhill and I’m not sure we will give them another shot. The bill was over $100 and I enjoyed the food less than I do McDonald’s. It pains me to write this, but it’s clear the place isn’t what it once was. They had a great run, but it’s over.
Excellent!!! Great food. Great service!
This Peruvian restaurant is awsome. Food is delicious.
Highly recommended
Fantastic food and service
Mango is #1! Check out Aji De Gallina and Seco De Carne!
An outstanding restaurant with great food and ambience.
Our party of 4 arrived for dinner and as soon as we walked in the door the smell of more exhaust system was noticeable. Hopefully, the issue can be addressed soon. Mango is one of our favorite restaurants. Every dinner or lunch we have had there has been amazing.
This is a good local restaurant, yesterday’s visit was interesting. When I asked about Happy Hour Cocktails I was told that those were only available for folks at the bar! There was not a sign of any hand sanitizers anywhere. The server’s hands were perilously close to rims of beverage glasses.
