   Went for happy hour because they advertised 1/2 priced cocktails and pizza. The cocktails were good, but the pizza oven was broken so we didn’t get to eat. That was disappointing.

   Service was slow and price expensive given its mud season. Also, we were celebrating a birthday and there was little recognition. Disappointing visit.

   We visit Mambo every time we are in Steamboat summer, fall, winter, or spring. Food is always amazing… Servers are a hit or miss … Emily last night was not particularly friendly or patient.. summer we have had servers in patio area that are so stoned they can’t remember what we ordered . We come mostly for the food and love the summer outdoor seating.

   We needed up sitting at the kitchen counter instead of a table. True to form for us. The food was excellent. They were very busy, packed house.

    It's been awhile since I've eaten at Mambo so evidently I had forgotten that they upcharge for everything, you want butter; $2.00, Parmesan, $2.00, you want home made spaghetti instead of box, $5.00, and so on. And the spaghetti and meatballs at $30 is not cheap. The food is good but I'm probably going to stick with Mazzolas from now on.
