Made a late reservation for Vaentine's Day dinner. Only one available on Open Table - maybe there was a message in that. The meal was just OK, first 3 wine choices were not available. failed to ask the price of the Dover Sole special thinking it would be the normal $40 - $45. When we got the bill $85!!!!!

We have been here several times before and loved it. The staff keeps changing and the instability is reflected in the service and the food. We asked for the special. Pork chops, rare to medium rare. The waiter said the chef would not cook them that way and they came out well done, dry and white. For the price this is not worth it.

Although I wanted a 7 p.m. reservation, that time was "blocked out". Therefore, we arrived at 6:45 p.m. to discover that there was only two other tables occupied.

Although I ordered the rack of lamb medium rare, it came out bloody. Our value attentive and underutilized waiter took it back to the kitchen and then brought the chef out to deliver it some 15 minutes later. Although it was then medium rare, my date's food was cold since she was waiting on me to be served.

I can now tell why the place was so empty on the Friday night before a Holiday weekend. Too bad since I have fond memories of this place under prior ownership.

No-one greeting at door. Only 1 waitress; she tried her best. Had to get own menus for later arriving 2some. Very cold air. Beef very tough. Very expensive for very mediocre evening. Will not return.

Steve and Katrina were very gracious hosts, and our prime rib was scrumptious. The atmosphere was quiet, relaxing, music just right, and the lighting was perfect. The martinis Katrina suggested were delicious.

Food was not good. This used to be our favorite restaurant with the best fish in Vero.
Menu was lackluster and preparation poorly executed.
Only exception was the key lime pie.

I was Very disappointed in food quality and preparation. Server removed my salad before I finished eating it. Fork was still in my hand when she removed it.

Finally! The chef and staff have figured out how to make this restaurant memorable. Each dish had a slight Caribbean flavor and were elegant. Very unique! We started with the Caribbean nachos. Yum! Plantain chips, marinated pork, goat cheese and a side of mango salsa. The spinach salad with the warm bacon dressing was also delightful.
For the entrees of roast duck (very crispy) and the balsamic beef tips were also enjoyed.

Two suggestions —- CHANGE THE NAME - new vibe new name (St. Bart)? and update the decor a bit-maybe a different paint color - Keep the same wood and unique lighting.

Thanksgiving dinner with my son. Very friendly staff . Meal was fine but nothing receptional. Soup could have been warmer, and too stingy with the cranberry sauce even though I did request a generous amount. All in all, quite satisfied!!

We went for Thanksgiving and had a very good prix fixe dinner. The hotel is charming, surrounded by a tropical garden. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. The menu offered a choice of traditional or more creative and everything was good except the rolls, which were ordinary.

We ate here with our two children (ages 8 and 10) to celebrate a special occasion. It was a wonderful evening. Steven was our server and he was so kind and helpful. He made the kids feel so special. While there is not a children's menu, there are multiple things on the menu that appealed to my adventurous eaters. The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely. Everything that we ordered was delicious. The swordfish and lamb chops and filet tips were all cooked perfectly and accompanied by really tasty vegetables and rice or risotto. The charcuterie platter was large and varied and was plated beautifully. We finished with the brownie a la mode, which was a delicious brownie large enough to share.

Had dinner downstairs then went upstairs to the piano bar. What a great place!! The piano bar is fun and lively and you can eat the full menu upstairs!

Ambiance was great. Wait staff was outstanding! Katrina made it a very special night for us. All staff seemed very much engaged with the customers. They provided an excellent experience with a sense of humor. We celebrated Veteran's Day and it was worth every minute of it. Well done!

Though somewhat hidden and out of way, the restaurant was a pleasant departure from the more commercial establishments. My wife and I had a wonderful date this Saturday at Maison Martinique. She had the Surf and Turf with the best sirloin I've tasted in a very long time. I had the seafood calamarata, scallops and shrimp over a cream sauce linguine. Excellent scallops and shrimp - large, fresh and cooked to perfection. After I finished, I returned to my wife's sirloin - fantastic.

What happened! This used to be one of our favorite restaurants. The valet is no longer there, nor is the hostess. There are new waitstaff, but only one is knowledgable. We were told that the 2 original chefs left in July. The restaurant was out of some of the cocktail liquors, including Makers Mark. They no longer have escargot or oysters rockefeller on the menu. The menu itself was horrible and most of the prices were north of $40.00. There were very few wines by the glass. Bread with dinner was $5.00 extra! Appetizer crab cakes were served cold and mostly bread crumbs. The mussels were OK. Roast duck, $42.00, skin was not crispy. Lamb chops, 3 small @ $42.00, were OK. Our waiter was fine, but the rest of the waitstaff did not know what to do. It seemed like the upstairs piano bar was not even open. We did not have desert. Our waiter told us that they are going to come out with a new menu featuring caribbean food. We have been coming here since 2010, and will not be going back until they change back to the good restaurant that they once were.

I would best describe this restaurant as a scene in a Wes Anderson movie. Bizarre pretty much covers it. We stopped to check in early for our dinner reservation before going to the piano bar upstairs for a drink , and we should have stayed there. The restaurant was musty and drab, and the brown carpet caused me to request an extra chair so my belongings didn't have to touch the floor. That was the first cue to leave while we could. The brands of alcohol available upstairs were not available downstairs, though they shared a kitchen. We switched our beverages. We ordered appetizers, and was then told they ran out of one of them. We switched our order. We ordered our entrees, a fight ensued in the kitchen, and the new girl came out to tell us that one of the entrees was not available. One of us switched our order. The servers tried to the best of their ability, but unprofessionally. The antics in the dining room were hilarious in a slap stick kind of way, but didn't add to the meal or the experience. There was something off about all of it. It all felt slightly dangerous, very uncomfortable and very unhinged. As for the food, the crab cakes were passable, the swordfish was decent, the tuna was very good and the veal chops were grisly. There is absolutely positively no reason at all to ever dine here. Ever.

Service was excellent, not a huge selection to choose from, I ordered a well done fillet mignon and it was still very pink in the middle, portions were pretty small so my husband was able to eat mine as well. Ordered the crabcakes as an appetizer they were excellent.
