When we got there they said they did not take reservations from Open Table. I showed them my confirmation and they had nothing in the system. I was not the only party having the issue. They were able to seat us about 15 minutes later but wanted to let you know that could be a big issue heading into the holidays. As usual, the food and service was fantastic.

Excellent dining experience! We celebrated our parents' 65th wedding anniversary at Maggiano's on Thanksgiving, and Maggiano's management and staff did everything possible to make it a wonderful and memorable experience for our entire family. They worked with us as our list of attendees changed, with some people coming in unexpectedly from out of town, and provided our party with a wonderful setting, even though Thankgiving is among their busiest days of the year. The food and drink was excellent, with a wide variety of choices. Service was also outstanding, as we were well attended throughout the evening. Would very much recommend Maggiano's restaurant in Schaumburg to anyone with either a small party or a large party - as they will work with you to make it a most enjoyable and memorable time.

Our Thanksgiving dinner was amazing. The family style serving was perfect. The service, as usual, was great. We have tried other restaurants for Thanksgiving and this was one of the best. We brought home leftovers and had just enough for a couple of dinners. Plus no kitchen to clean or dishes to wash.

Last year for thanksgiving we got so much food, this year maggianos was quite stingy! Last year we were able to pick each of our dishes and this year it was shared. I didn't appreciate that. I'll be going somewhere else next year.

I was treating my niece to dinner and our time together was interrupted by having to be moved to another table due to fruit flies around our drinks and food - and on the wall next to our booth. It was very unappetizing and annoying. The server was quite good and very pleasant - she did the best she could under the circumstances. The food was also very good - we ate at another table and things were fine until right after dessert and more fruit flies appeared. I spoke with a manager the following day and he was very apologetic and said that they had already contacted their pest control company. This was good to hear, but it will still be awhile before I go back. The manager did say he would send a gift card which is also nice of him. I understand things happen and that it is important how management handles it. They did the best they could. I just have to let some time pass....

Francisco was our server, he was very attentive and made wonderful food and drink recommendations. We come to schamburg every fall for a girls shopping trip and have dinned there for the last trips. Its now must have dinner for out weekend. Looking forward to next year already!

We always celebrate family gatherings at Maggiano's. The food us usually pretty good but the server was pretty clueless regarding vegan needs (cheese in cream sauce, etc.) What's the most fristrating is that I made a reservation at 6:15 pm. I would have been happy being seated by 6:30 but at 7:10 pm, we were pushing the issue to sit. That's not acceptable. The front desk was literally a three ring circus and the hosting staff was clueless. So bummed.

we love Maggiano's. the food is very good. the portions are ample. and the take home pasta option makes for better value...especially for families. Just DO NOT reserve through Open Table. The manager was great to accommodate us on a Friday night. They did not have our reservation. She said they DO NOT use this system.

We are finding that this restaurant is slowly declining with their food quality and sloppy preparation making us feel it's all about getting the food out to the customer fast so they leave sooner. They used to have great bread and pasta cooked correctly and served nicely on the plate. It's not always that way now. We both had the take-home lasagna and it certainly lacks the quality it used to have. I'm sorry to say this, but for American Italian(southern) food, it is no longer the top place. I hope they will improve, because I will try them again, but not for a while.

Our server was fantastic! We told him we had to get our son to the bus back to school so we needed to get in and out. I have never gotten our food so fast. Plus he took care of our son. Gave him extra bread, plates and silverware for his "midnight snack"!! He was truly awesome and we are thrilled to recommend everyone eat here.

It was very busy but that is no excuse for slow service. Soda was flat and the chicken dishes came out lukewarm. The server said they don’t want to cook it too long because the chicken would dry out. The chicken was hot when it was made but too slow to get out. Then the server was not told the table was for two birthdays. It just wasn’t a good effort all around.

Service was great - they accomodated us even though we were 40 minutes late to our reservation. Food, ambience was truly great and the 'one item to take home' was a pleasant surprise... only regret is didn't have space for desert and there were so many other items we wanted to try out.
