Good value for money. We did the Family Style lunch meal plan for 8, and it was well worth it and the servings were just right .
Family of 6 dining to celebrate a milestone. Kids love Italian food and this was their first time at Maggiano’s. Their feedback was that food was great (not excellent). We weren’t wowed but were pleased with our meals. Portion size was generous as we were hungry but still had leftover for later. Restaurant was not overly busy but somehow every person working there seemed to be in a rush. Practically everyone were hustling about to get to their respective jobs. My 4 yo pointed that out. We ourselves weren’t being rushed just observed that all who worked there were and that didn’t make for a overall relaxing Sunday celebration.
We usually don't comment on restaurant unless it is extremely bad(far from mediocre).
As a returning customer, we made a reservation on Opentable for lunch and we got our seat very quickly (that's what the one star for).
We were assigned to seat with a certain ethnic group. Our server's attitude is nice but service is quite slow, considered is not very busy and one server is serving 4 tables.
We ordered two coffees with Johnny's Carbonara and Filet Mignon & Asparagus Risotto. We just come back from Italy and we "thought" it is like a Italian restaurant. When the food came the carbonara was soaked in some milky diluted soup and the Filet Mignon and the Risotto is very dark in color. The presentation is already a minus.
The taste is even worst. The spaghetti in the carbonara is raw (not cooked). Both of the dishes are extremely salty which I think they will give us kidney stones. Coffees were never refilled. I have to go to convenient store to buy a lot of water after that lunch.
We will not be returning unless they even have a "little" passion on the food they serve.
Food was terrible and service slow and the beer was warm. Prices were double what you would pay at any other “upscale “ so called restaurant.
We waited 20 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation, and it didn't get at better from there. The server's wine pour was comical. She said they offer a 3, 6 or 9 oz pour. I've never heard of that before. Then she proceeded to try to fill the first glass, at that point we had to stop her from over filling the rest. Then the waiting for the food began.
The appetizer course finally arrived and it was mediocre at best. Then the 40 minute wait for the main course. Sadly it was not worth the wait. The word that came to mind was grim. It appeared that the food was sitting somewhere for quite a while. The top layer of the pasta dish was hard, and chewy.
It was a special occasion that was ruined by our poor choice of restaurant.
As always, good food and great service from this place. It was prom night and very busy but we were still able to book a reservation at the time we wanted with Open Table. Kudos!
We booked a reservation with open table. We checked in and proceeded to watch couple after couple be sat, when we asked when we were likely to go in the front lady seemed as if she didn’t know what happened to our status, as if it was lost. We noticed our names were very low down on the list which was weird considering we were now well past our reservation time.
They promptly then sat us.
Dinner Service was lovely. Waiter was Johnny on the spot and made sure drinks were refilled and food was prompt.
Food was delicious and of course a great value for buy 1 take one home.
Would go back. Hopefully next time we are seated more promptly.
Service was good and ambiance was amazing! Thank you for serving a large group of 20 ppl. We had a wonderful mother’s day dinner.
The service was poor, the food was warm. My niece received the wrong order twice. Everyone was done with their food & her’s still not had been redone & when it came back out it was still wrong. Very disappointed as it was Mother’s day.
Our Mother’s Day lunch was made very special because of the staff at Maggiano’s. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We were in one of their many banquet rooms so the atmosphere was quiet and conducive to conversation. The regular menu is extensive, and yet they offered an additional special menu for Mother’s Day. $2 mimosas and $5 Bloody Marys capped our dining experience.
My family went there for Mother's Day and everyone was very pleased with the food and service.
Always enjoy going to Maggiano's. Great value for great food.
We go t Maggione's a few times a year . We always have great food and service, it is a favorite !
To out the wife for a nice dinner. Great place
Great place to enjoy my birthday surrounded by family and friends. The only complaint was that the booth was too crowded with 7 people.
Good service. Good for big parties and kids. Spacious venue for our size party and convenient location for west Bellevue families.
Great Food and good service
Waitstaff was attentive
Steak was cooked perfect
We come here frequently because it is good food, and convenient (with a reservation). The wait staff is excellent, energetic and often interesting to talk to. This time, we brought friends and were seated in a comfortable booth ideal for 4 people. The meal was excellent and everyone was happy. I like that they have lower calorie options on several dishes, my favorite is the chicken piccata. The buy one dish and bring another home for free is a great deal! We will keep coming back.
Amazing food and the meal for two (3 course meal plus bring two side pastas to bring home) is well worth it! Great service too!
Good variety of choices, excellent waiter Ethan, accommodating atmosphere.
Generous potions; some dishes (beef with pasta) too sweet for me.
Family dinner...excellent experience as always!
The service was above and beyond and entertaining!
Our party of 5 was put into a small booth which made dining uncomfortable. Other than that, we had a good time. The food was good, although the pasta primavera was not what we were expecting and we will not be getting again. We went for my husband's birthday and they gave him a little dessert treat with candles which was nice, but failed to mention that the dessert provided was the same as the one our son ordered so we ended up with 9 lemon cookies.
I made a reservation at Maggianos for a special occasion dinner before a school dance. We had a group of 22 people and I made a reservation a week in advance. Our group arrived in time and they told us it would be another 10 or 15 minutes.. except that time went by and then they kept telling us it would another 10 to 15 minutes for the next 45 minutes. I would totally understand this dilemma if we had shown up without a reservation trying to seat 22 people, but this is despicable considering I made a reservation well in advance and we showed up in time. Extremely annoying considering we had the night scheduled out and spent most of our time at the restaurant waiting. Once we were finally seated they were missing 2 seats for some of our group and we had to pull up some chairs. Other than that the food was great and the wait staff were friendly. The environment and ambiance is super fun but still sophisticated. Great for a slightly more formal family dinner or celebration as long as the group is small, but don’t expect an organized and timely experience.
Graduation celebration. Our waiter Lucas was a recent St Louis transplant and wonderful. We started with drinks and an appetizer. Our entrees were served seamlessly. I followed Lucas’s recommendation of the signature Carbonara. Seafood with generous chunks of crab, salmon and fish. We broke “the rules” and shared a bottle of Barbers. Delightful. We followed with lemoncellos and chocolate cake the size of a mailbox...! Moist gateau with a bittersweet ganache. Wearable! Chef J.P. was off, to our disappointment.
The only downside was our booth (which we LOVE) but located on some kind of pathway that a herd of 10 year olds walked back and forth more than a dozen times through dinner. Table of 30 next to us was unnoticeable compared to them.
We really did not enjoy our experience at this restaurant! It was so loud, the tables were packed in so tight you felt awkward sitting at your own table. Terrible service, the food took forever, which would have been fine if we had drinks! Schedule your servers smaller sections! The poor guy was running around all night.
Birthday celebration. Our server was so awesome!!!
This is one of my favorite restaurants to take my guests to when they are come to the city to visit me. The food and service are always great.
it was good
No matter which location you chose across the nation, always good. Same consistent food and service - no unwanted surprises.
The Salmon was nicely done and had a wonderful sauce and spinach to help carry it. We also enjoyed the Gnochi. It was very flavorful and robust.
Maggiano's was perfect for our group of 9 people for a business dinner. Food is delicious, service is good, handled our group no problem. Would be great if they had a large round table as an option for groups to help with conversation, but a small quibble. Their wine list is pretty limited, but affordable.
We dine here regularly and find the experience is always exceptional. One place we can anticipate the food to be good, service great and prices reasonable. Recommended!
Food portions were pretty small. Restaurant smelled like old bleach when we arrived. (I guess that’s good and bad) Service was pretty great, food tasted great.
Good food at a reasonable price. Go for the family style lunch or dinner!
Entertaining friends from out of town
Wonderful food and service. Will be back again. Great meal.
The food was delicious as always, and our Server, Troy, was amazing. He had many other tables, some even large parties, and he greeted us promptly, made sure we were doing alright throughout the whole meal.
The Men of Kenatic had a weekly working dinner at Maggiano's and once again the neighborhood Italian joint did not disappoint. Some of us arrived during Happy Hour and took advantage of the great deals on flat breads and great drink specials. $3 for a Peroni or Stella in downtown Bellevue is hard to beat.
Dinner found most of us ordering from the eat one take one home menu. For $15 there is no better deal in town.
The only comment is that for a group of 8 it can be hard to have a biz discussion given the relatively high volume in the store. Otherwise, Maggiano's is a great venue.
