This year, thank Mom for all that she does with a visit to Madison's Grill. Chef Chris Hrynyk and his team have prepared a mouthwatering seasonal brunch and dinner menu which you will enjoy amongst the history and grandeur of our renowned dining room.
The service was great. However the food was disappointing. The mussel appetizer wasn’t very flavourful and the mussels were over cooked. My son had the short ribs poutine and his fries were cold, the gravy and the meat tasted burnt. Two people had the duck and they were both very underwhelmed with the flavours and texture of the duck. I had the ravioli and did like the flavour. The waiter kept bringing us sparkling water and didn’t mention to us that it would cost us extra. The $300+ meal that we had was not worth it (only one of us had a glass of wine, my son had coca-cola, and the other 2 of us just drank water). I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I give it an overall 3/10. Points for the nice venue and the okay service.

My husband and I went out on Saturday, March 28, 2021 to Madison's for dinner. The food was outstanding and delicious and the service was great! We had the 6 course chef's special in which we didn't know what we were going to have and everything was amazing! Can't wait to go back!

We've been to Madison's many times over the years, often tied to a stay at the Union Bank Inn. Always a great experience - great food and a nice quiet environment with great service. And breakfast the next morning is always great too...

Madison's Grill is a retreat from the world as it is today. It is pleasant from the moment you are greeted and shown to your table. The staff are welcoming and professional. Coffee is great and hot. Madison's Grill eggs benedict is the "best" in the world - once you taste it you can never go back to another. Music is kept low so it is easy to have a conversation and the chairs are comfortable. But for me - the most important thing - the eggs have a light yoke - not the dark "free range" type. Love it - thanks Madison's Grill for being there for me.

Food is poorly seasoned. The food would be much improved if the chefs tasted the food and properly seasoned it before sending it out.

Kevin was our waiter and sommelier, was a most excellent host. Was very attentive but not over bearing. Chef Chris and his team fed us the six course meal and I don’t think we could have made a better choice. Without knowing us or our tastes it was a perfect meal.

Our experience at Madison's Grill-Union Bank Inn always creates a pleasant memory for my wife and I. We reside over an hour away, but make this lovely restaurant a place of choice for special occasions. Whether a brunch or a formal dinner, everything is purposely and deliberately made perfect by the staff. We have been blessed to have Solomon as our waiter during our last couple of outings.
This man goes the extra mile with his great smile outstanding attention to detail. Above all, he wants his customers to have a fantastic time. Service was excellent! I had the Salmon and Risotto. The risotto tasted like it had been warmed in the microwave but the salmon was ok. My husband had the bouillaisse blanc which was pretty good. We had breakfast there the next morning ( was free with the room) We had eggs benedict and it was excellent!

Thoroughly enjoyed the Chef’s 6 course menu with wine pairing. Flavours were amazing in all of the dishes and the wines were well matched. Sadly, there was too much for us to properly enjoy the last dishes completely, so taking them home was a worthwhile option to enjoy later. Definitely will return another day.
