   One should expect live music in NOLA, but one should not expect to pay top dollar for dinner and not be able to hear the people speaking at your own table. Ears ringing was about all you could hear. Service was also lacking. I understand that people need to gain experience, but we had shared plates brought out with no small plates to eat the food off of, we had 7 wine glasses that went unused never removed from the table (so I removed them), we had the server move our silverware and plates aside to put the tray on the table to serve us our drinks, we waited nearly 40 minutes to order, and we had our coffee brought out 20 minutes after dessert. The food was excellent, but I would never spend that kind of money again there.

   I took my sisters there for their birthdays. The staff was excellent. A special shout out to Luna who was very accommodating. The food was great and the music was a nice touch!

   Unfortunately, our Mother’s Day brunch at M Bistro fell short of expectations, especially given the Ritz-Carlton name and a bill close to $600. The food lacked freshness and flavor, and overall, the experience did not reflect the level of quality and attention to detail one would anticipate from this brand. A missed opportunity on what should have been a special occasion.

   We chose M Bistro because it is walking distance to the Saenger Theatre. It’s great if you are staying in the hotel but it is not a destination restaurant. We found it just okay so we will not return. It is a hotel restaurant which means it is below par for New Orleans restaurants.

   Had a fabulous server - Pamela who made us all feel like VIPS. The food was great and her recommendations were spot on. We told her we were nurses and she provided our dessert on a special plate decorated in chocolate saying we love nurses.

   M Bistro has never failed in meeting expectations! While it’s not right on the street lime other places, it’s absolutely worth the effort to eat here!

   Special thanks to our waitress for the night, Luna who ensured that my husband and I were well taken care of for our anniversary dinner. The complimentary bites were a great treat. Luna was very attentive and made us feel extremely welcomed! Overall, the ambience was good, the food was okay, but the service was definitely something I would return for.

   Overall an amazing restaurant; however, disappointed because I noted it was a birthday celebration and they didn’t even acknowledge it or ask or anything.

   The food at M Bistro was all exceptionally delicious. The service was superb, and the ambiance is fantastic- a truly beautiful venue, as is the entire Ritz Carlton. Our only 2 minor complaints are that the restaurant is difficult to find in the hotel. It's on the third floor behind the bar. We wandered around a while trying to figure out where it is, as directions are not displayed anywhere. The second is the coffee is similar to New York coffee- more watery than we're used to in New Orleans. But all in all, I heartily recommend M Bistro, and we'll be happy to return. As for the food, I had the redfish, which was really outstanding. The oysters Rockefeller were a unique recipe, but excellent.

    Made reservation 2 months in advance to arrive and be told there would be a 30 minute wait. Staff is very nice but appear to be inexperienced. Food ranged from mediocre to bad.
