I was surprise because usually hotel restaurants are expensive average food. We have a snapper and a filet and both were awesome. My only complain were the cocktails, the bartender doesn't know how to prepare a good Cosmo..also my whisky cocktail taste like cough medicine. I returned the whisky cocktail without any problem. Definitely recommend the food.

M Bistro was delicious and the perfect restaurant to dine at before heading to the Saenger for a show. The wait staff was incredibly attentive and the food was delicious. It is hard to find if you do not know where to look. Thankfully we asked an employee of the hotel and he showed us the restaurant. We would've never found it on our own! But it was absolutely worth it!

I ordered sliders and truffles fries off the bar menu and both were delicious. My husband got the fish and it was great too.
The only complaint was that we never knew who our wait person was. We were waited on by at least five people and it became confusing.

Service was 5 star! They even gave us excellent directions to our next destination. I ordered the beef filet and it was amazing, the beef was tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. I asked for the whisky sauce on the side and glad I did, the filet was so good that it didn’t need a thing.
My husband ordered the blacken redfish and it was very fishy smelling, I could smell it from my side of the table. He didn’t eat very much of the fish but he said his choc-chip bread pudding was very good. He had indigestion most of the night, so maybe the fish was just bad.

This visit was disappointing, seafood was just ok, even blackened redfish was bland, which is not good for a NOLA restaurant, service was inattentive, the Ritz Carlton should rethink this restaurant, it doesn't nearly compare to similar and very close dining establishments that are far superior!

It’s just traditional hotel fair. Food is fine but it’s not a special experience. We were here for brunch which they suddenly stopped serving at noon. What kind of brunch stops at noon? Also, I hear their dinner is better but we probably won’t go back to find out.

Celebrated two birthdays in one of the cheater booths and it was a fabulous experience. The noise level was low and we were able to hear and converse easily with everyone. The staff was very accommodating and made it special as well. I will definitely be back and recommend M Bistro.

Impeccable service. Classy, first class atmosphere. Great live jazz. With a party of seven, we had a private booth, whuch was another nice touch. Everyone but one of us loved their dish. The rib eye and scallop dishes were especially outstanding choices.

Standard menu. Hard to find. On 3rd floor of Ritz Carlton hotel and then past the courtyard. Well appointed and luxurious environment. Food is ok but nothing special. Good place for quiet and relaxing meal.

It’s in the Ritz but it felt like they have no management. Waiter disappeared and I got a medium well rather than medium rare $50 steak. I could have found someone but rather than be a dud and ruin the whole cadence for the table I sucked it up. I had to find another waiter to order another bottle of wine. It came and he just poured, no tasting to ensure not turned etc. not what you should get with a $90 bottle. I could go on but no room. They need help and I’d wait until they get it fixed if I were you!

Had a terrible experience with service. Ordered three coarse meal prior to going to the theatre which I told the server. Paid for the meal early. Waited for the third coarse and when asked where it was they said I didn't order it. Showed them my receipt and then they said we will get it to you. Never happened. One of the worst service experiences ever. They were not busy so forget that excuse. Oh, the food was ok and no where worth that experience. Good luck with your experience if you go.
