The atmosphere on the Mt. of course is amazing. But the food was really fantastic and our server Don, could not have been any better! Someone had the burger, he said it was one of the best EVER, a couple salads with added trout, a skirt steak and I had the chili YUM.

Staff are very cordial and helpful. All appetizers and entrees are delicious and sauces compliment the entrees very well to emphasize the many flavors. The chef has complete command of his menu and achieves tastes second to none.

This was a marvelous experience. The food was excellent, the service exceptional. If they are offering duck poutine, ORDER IT. You can't die without having eaten it at least once.

The s'mores are great good fun.

Food was great, but the dining room was SO COLD, and it was not an unusually cold day. Is there any way this can be fixed?

We arrived and the restaurant was empty. The hostess put us on a table that had no views. I asked her to change the table to another one with a better view - she told us that such table was reserved and we could not change. I insisted the restaurant was empty and she finally let us go to the other table. In 1 1/2 hour the supposed resevervation owner did not show up. Food is fair. Waiters, bartenders and hostess are amateurs.

The food is overpriced, my chicken was like eating cardboard. No kid friendly menu, extensive wine list, no outdoor oven or gluten free options. We did enjoy the view and outdoor seating but our waitress was from Australia and spent the entire time speaking with other guests from Aust.

Good food but not very friendly (place was empty and acted like doing us a favor to seat us). Not what I expected when billed as a quiet and upscale experience.

The only complaint we had was that we sat outside for a long time after we went inside and they told us that he would bring a menu right out. That never happened. After a while someone else showed up and after several other tables we served we finally got a menu. When we finally got a menu the waiter did a good job of taking care of us.

We enjoyed the new weekend afternoon apres scene with deejay, festive outside ambiance, and delicious food. Above all, our servers were incredibly welcoming and attentive. We were a large group of 8 including kids, and the servers could not have been better. We will be back.

Loved our lunch at this cozy, woodsy, western, atmospheric on-mountain eatery. At the moment their system does not allow reserving specifically for an outside table, so those go to walk-ins. They were full when we arrived for our reservation so we had to take an inside table on a beautiful day. However, we enjoyed a gorgeous view out the window as we dined on their pâté and cheese board, Cabin salad with trout, onion soup and very good burger which was ordered medium-rare but came well-done. Be sure to send it back if that happens to you...they are very amenable. It just wasn't worth the wait for us.

What a perfect wrap up to a day of skiing. The staff treated us like royalty and the service was spot on. The restaurant is so cozy and it feels very European. The food is so good. The salmon rillette was accompanied by pickled veg and a ligthly dressed frisee and these little touches really made the meal spectacular. We also had the pickled deviled eggs topped with pork belly, kale salad, elk meatballs and a roasted chicken. Everything was really good. If you haven't been, you need to go.

The atmosphere was nice. They were closing in two days so many items were not available. The food was average at the best and overpriced. The service was poor---they were more concerned with talking with each other than attending their tables!

late lunch on the mountain. excellent food. excellent music. amazing vibe. it was a beautiful day - my birthday - and we had skied the full day, wanted to eat on the mountain but not have to ski down for very long because we knew we would be tired (and tipsy). the food was awesome, the dj was awesome, the wine was competitively priced and the selection was awesome. i cant wait to go back!!!

With two fine dining spots on Snowmass mountain the Atmosphere at the cabin is the best. Fine food great wine and a staff that noes how to treat and serve myself and clients. The elk stroganoff and Mac and cheese with pork belly and top with a fried egg is killer. Start with salad and end with the bread pudding is highly recommended. Next time tousle Snowmass you gotta give a try. Beats standing in line at a cafeteria style eatery.

Really enjoyable and worth it. On-mountain dining is quite pricey and not usually good. While this is a higher price-point, the food is substantially better than anywhere else on the Snowmass mountain. Cozy space and a great menu! Definitely worth the incremental cost if you are planning to eat on the mountain. Probably the best food we had in all of Snowmass.

I have loved going here for several years. I love the warmth of the cabin while taking a break from skiing. I was back with friends and loved the elk stroganoff. My friends loved the mac and cheese and the chili. They do offer dinner during the week accessible by snowcat, but to me being there for lunch and looking out at the mountains on a sunny day is perfect.

I have lunched here many times while skiing. it is one of the two best dining experiences on the four Aspen area mountains. Also good for evening snowcat outings, including private bookings. It seems to have gotten more pricey (like the lift tickets) but then it is quite unique. Glad to see that booking on Open Table is an option now.

Love the location and views from Lynn's. Skiied up to the cabin for a cozy lunch- my favorite is the salmon and lentil dish. Our children enjoyed the elk stroganoff and of course the bread pudding for dessert. Nice wine selection to pair with your lunch. Next time we hope to secure a reservation for the dinner/snow cat ride. Very cozy so make sure you book on open table to secure a seat.
