Bad and expensive, not smart to get fat and spend money in this one
Ribeye Steak was good but there was no substitute for the tomato soup that goes with it, not even a salad. Wish there was more combinations on plates. The zuppa de pesca was extremely salty, a couple bites and you’re done, you wouldn’t be able to finish that plate. Too salty. Great service overall but limited food options and for the prices I would assume a little more option. It’s pricey for just ok food. Great people working there.
The waiter came off as very condescending. Once he figured out we weren’t going to buy the little extras to make the bill high we felt we became a nucence to him.
The service was top notch and the food was excellent. We loved the whole experience. We are local and don't come to the strip often, but we will come back again for another stellar experience.
Everything was great except that after making a reservation we were only offered a table on “the patio” which was out by the freezing cold hallway near the parking garage in the casino. Was cold the whole meal and food got cold quick.
Perfect dinner experience.
Food was decent, but way overpriced for what it was.
Awesome food! Had a great time! Excellent fresh handmade pasta and pizza. The bruschetta was the best I’ve ever had.
Service was very good. Specials on the menu were not available when we tried to order them. Food was decent.
Two of our guests thought the Pasta dishes were sub par
Not as expected for a renowned name.
Ate the wild boar pasta dish. Very tasty and filling. The apple crostada also was tasty.
Our leadership team had a celebration dinner here, and overall found it to be a nice experience. Everyone had a different meal (seafood pasta, pizza, steak, traditional pasta, etc) and all said the food was very good. The meatball appetizer was also good, although I would like to see additional meatballs as only having two for the price was a poor value.
The ambiance is one of nice-casual, and given it's in the lobby of the Mandalay Bay without walls, is a loud place to have dinner. Don't go here if you want a quiet conversation or a reprieve from the Las Vegas insanity.
We had an early dinner on our way to a show. Excellent service and the food was awesome.
I thought I was at Olive Garden
The food was very good and not what you find at every other Italian restaurant. The waiter's suggestions were spot on!
It was Excellent all round
Food and service were superb
Disappointing. Overpriced food, ambiance was boring. My chicken dish had no side item at all.
Great Italian food where there is excellent people watching on the ‘patio’ or dine ‘inside’. Chef made something for our dinner that was on the fall menu but not on current menu, as he had the ingredients. (Thank you!) He would have made a second dish for us as well, but we opted to try something new which didn’t disappoint! Staff is attentative. Food is consistently good. Goiod wine by the glass list, with staff knowledgeable of the wines. All around a good time and great value considering Vegas prices. We’ve been a returning customer any time we are in the area on that part of the strip.
The advertisement in the Mandalay bay elevator shows an Italian dinner for two. In reality they are set up for large parties for business groups. This is not a restaurant for a romantic dinner for two. Most seating for two people are positioned between The slot machines and the convention center. It’s not very quaint when you have people leaning up against the guard rail within inches of you trying to have a nice dinner. The hostess was nice and seen this somewhere more appropriate. But this is a great restaurant for parties of six And The slot machines in the convention center. It’s not very quaint when you have people leaning up against the guard rail within inches of you trying to have a nice dinner. The hostess was nice and seen this somewhere more appropriate. But this is a great restaurant for parties of six and over. Please change your missed leading commercial in the Mandalay Bay elevator.
We have been eating here for several years and have always been extremely satisfied with both the food and service...although mostly sitting at the bar. As always during a convention week they were very busy. Our service was top notch but the kitchen was very disappointing. One of our meals was missed at the initial delivery and came to the table about 10 minutes after the other people were served. A steak that was over cooked and tough was sent back and another came back way undercooked. It seems to me with all the experience they have with a full house that they shouldn’t have any of these issues. My wife loves this place but she says that we won’t return.
Domingo Lopez is a fantastic manager with a fantastic team. Everybody’s attention to detail and execution was spectacular.
We were looking forward to this dinner, planned on it before we left Florida for Las Vegas, but from the start we should have known it was not going to be what we expected. We were in the 1st seating of the night and they sat us at a 2 top on a corner where they brought everyone else by to get to their tables. There was very little space to get through and the person I was there with kept getting bumped by people going through. Why would they fill those seats when they knew they still had others to bring through. BTW, they could have taken people around the other side of us where there was more room and no one sitting at the closest table. At one point my friend got up to take a call and the waiter(not our’s) came by and moved her chair away and I had to ask them to bring it back! The food was very good and it came hot, that is the only reason we stayed. The wait staff except for our water boy, were terrible, distracted, had their own agenda and didn’t really listen the 1st time we ordered, we had to repeat ourselves several times. The cappuccino that came had no coffee in it, it is like they forgot to grind the beans and just added foam to hot water. Would NOT recommend this place, especially because we had great service at all the other restaurants we visited on our trip.
Alan our server was excellent. Wild boar was the best 'Ive had outside of Tuscany
Food was very bland and made me sick the service was slow
The food was amazing as well as the service. We had a great bottle of wi e as well!
There were 5 of us for dinner on 1/20/19 it was my birthday dinner. We started of with a bottle of wine
( Wolfgang pucks Merlot) Very good.
Two of us had the chic parm. while the portions were big the chicken was very dry Maybe over cooked? Flavor was good .
Three of us had the chic cacciatore. Two of the three thought the chicken was very dry.
Most Italian restaurants will always put a side of pasta with most dishes.
Not here. 10.00 $ for a small side dish of pasta. We ordered two of these pastas. Flavor of the sauce was very very good but three of us agreed the pasta was way overcooked on both pastas.
Maybe just personal taste.
We had to ask for butter because none came with the bread .
The oil and vinegar we asked for came in very small ramekins.
Barely enough for one person let alone 5 of us . We asked them several times for more oil and vinegar.
Maybe next time they should use the oil and vinegar bottles that you can just pour out onto your food.
The service was good but the food was just ok. Once again maybe just personal taste.
We expected a bit more from Wolfgang Puck and we were a bit disappointed with the food quality .
Overall we would give them 3 stars
The papardelle with 8-hour bolognese (special) is my new obsession!!
They ran out of the special and that was the only meat sauce on the menu. The ribeye appetizer was phenomenal, and we had to order a 2nd! It's a bit loud. Service was outstanding.
Excellent friendly service. Waiter took ample time to explain specials and was very responsive to our questions. He made a great suggestion, splitting an entree between us as an appetizer.
Awesome service. Very attentive to our needs...
Excellent service, but the food was not as quality as expected. The skate was too crunchy and salty, the veal was not the most flavorful and the chicken was just okay. A little disappointed with the visit. Expected better.
Our waitress was great, so service was the standout here. Two of the three entrees were amazing. Unfortunately the most costly of the three, my own, was just ok. The saffron risotto was amazing, but the osso buco was less than great. A bit tough and that's very unfortunate considering how this meat should cut. At any rate, I'll be back again and just stray from the osso buco. Opt for the pasta dishes and enjoy their great wine menu and you'll be happy here.
What the heck is up with the temperature of the dining room?!! Completely unacceptable....freezing....very uncomfortable....7pm....I dare you to take the temperature....even the service staff acknowledges the problem, says sometimes they shut down the station adjacent to the hotel walking area....it was freezing. Made what I'm sure would have been a great experience...meh! I eat out a lot....I love Wolfgang Puck! But this was NOT a great experience....food got cold in this area too quickly....lobster fettucine...normally would have been an incredible dish....when the dish was placed in front of me.....could tell 1. sat in the window too long....all the pasta was stuck together in one mass....the sauce was "crusted over" and stuck everything together....fettucine in the cold...not very enjoyable...ordered a cappuccino with dessert...just to put my hands around the cup to warm up...I wore my winter jacket the entire time....come on folks....such a great group....it is unacceptable to hear that you know about a problem but didn't do anything about it.
Fish was greasy and salty
Great pizza!! The best pepperoni pizza ever!!
Great food although a little pricey. Service is fantastic and very attentive. Manager even came over and talked to us to ensure we were happy. Definitely recommend!
Excellent food but very smoky due to proximity to casino. That plus high noise level detracted from dining experience. Great waiter.
We constantly had our server come back & tell us things are not available after taking the order. This happened with the drinks, the appetizers and the entrees. It seemed like there was no coordination between the kitchen and wait staff.
